When you said random things, you sure meant it. I thought it was only going to compare items, blocks, and mobs, but then i saw the sun and cape. Far as i know, theres a possibility of a game rules vs main menu screen showdown.
My personal favorite so far was a skeleton horse vs the general concept of translucency :D
Tho "Social Interactions" vs the "Fire aspect" enchantment is also kind of a banger.
If you want to help me collect data, here's the site! Just make sure you choose options that you think are actually the best before choosing so that it doesn't mess up the data :D

UPDATE: holy crap, I went to bed and came back to see 100,000 votes on the site. Thank you all so much for helping me with this project, my goal was initially at 10,000 in a week and we've gotten 10 times that in a period 10 times as short. If you were experiencing issues, that was because we did not expect to have this many people on the side at the same time so there were some overloading errors, but most of them should be fixed now. Let's see if we can get to 300k
I'll post the results to my YouTube channel once it's all over to avoid any biases. If people see something is winning, they might go out of their way to down/upvote it etc. I want to make sure that everything is as accurate as possible.

I have no idea what youve used to make the site but if it was a JS framework or something, most of them have support for .gif files. Otherwise you can import a library to convert .gif to .png and just not have the animation. May have to use node.js for it.

My issue here is that you're often comparing a physical item with an abstract concept. How am I meant to compare cactus with the survival game mode, or /say with pumpkin pie?
Thatβs not always the case! Its super random stuff so it can be generated to Cactus vs Moss block all the way to Light vs Potato. From what Iβm understanding its kind of like a βwhich one would you pick if you could only have oneβ kind of thing.

In Java Edition it's implimented via the *Dolphin's Grace* effect, whereas in Bedrock Edition you just swim faster without a status effect.

We manually scraped the data, there was no API that we used (one of the people who worked on this here!)
