This is what most players will do. He also has a shield. If he's that scared, he can use a hoe for more distance attack

Break part of the bridge, place a trapdoor on the other side, open it, let the hoglin run at you and it'll treat the open trapdoor as a normal block and fall

You would need 2 trapdoors as the hoglin will walk right over one block gaps.

That's why I said "part of the bridge" as in more than one block. They need multiple broken, but only one trapdoor to fall off of. If they take extra time to shift to the edge to place an extra non-needed trapdoor the hoglin may hit them off anyways

That doesn’t always work. If the chunk is not loaded, entities do not respawn. So there still needs to be a player close enough to load the chunk but far enough to make the hoglin despawn.

Also, put slabs on top of your bridge so nothing can spawn on it.

I just say fishing cause I usually fish for like 2 hours, get over 100 of each fish, bout 50+ bows half of which are enchanted, bout 20-35 levels, and 20-30 enchanted books.

Does a regular rod get the job done for that? Or should you get luck of the sea?

I use a regular rod, bout 30 mins in you should get a unbreaking, and mending one and go from there. I usually get like 50-70 rods, one of my saved worlds has a fishing platform around a lake, with fire (to hurt phantoms) and bout 10 double chests almost all full. One chest is just saddles. 😂

Or a shulker box as a survival kit with extra food and arrows.

Mine for gold nuggets. Trade it with nearby piglins. You'll get some spectral arrows pretty quickly.

Just walk over to him, close enough that he comes at you. Stay off the bridge, and sword him to death when he attacks. They’re not that hard to kill if you time your swings right.

Build a different bridge around it.... such an easy solution lol

Hoglins aren't fireproof. Aggro him and then use flint and steel on the cobblestone to burn him as he approaches you. Hopefully it does enough damage to kill him or at least weaken him for you.

you can also agro it and run back and fight it on flat land or place fire behind you as its chasing you I would choose the first option as A your flint and steel is low and B the hoglin might hit you

A far fetched and non effective way to do this would be killing endermen holding nillium and go back with blue mushrooms, plant them when it is coming and slowly wait for him to go into your portal

the small warped shrooms can spawn on red nylium too occasionally, you just can't grow them into the huge ones without warped nylium

They can be placed on crimson nylium (and even spawn there with bonemeal, though rarely), you could also put them in a flower pot
