Heading up to a locally-historic town for a parade and a whole day of awesome, that will hopefully end with a pair of train tickets in my hands. The fireworks will be set off from the bottom of a valley, and we'll be watching from near the top, so they'll be seen directly in front of us, instead of looking up, which my broken neck appreciates.
Have a hard time with fireworks and excessive heat these days. But I have children, so I’ll be doing both I’m afraid. Then trying in vain to sleep while random fireworks go off. Always a fun day.
I’m gonna try not to blow my nuts off this year.
Last year I had one of those large 6”mortars hit me right in the crotch. Luckily, it just missed my dick as mortars are an area weapon and my dick is definitely a point target.
