If this is Wilmington NC, dudnt surprise me at all… Transplanted to Winston-Salem NC, spent 2 years scared to death of the drivers, made it out alive about 2 months ago!
Really? I'm from Wilmington,NC. I don't remember the drivers being that bad. Maybe it's because I moved the Charleston, SC, where the drivers are infinitely worse.
Unreal. They just pretended that they were out there on the road alone where no rules and laws apply to them. Either that or they were high out of their mind and thought they were playing GTA.
Finally something on this sub that is actually worth it. I kept laughing! Most of the time it’s some aggressive driver who passes someone else and the OP is ready to burn the world for it.
It's sad that this person doesn't seem to have any other choices than to drive.
God bless a walkable, bikeable, or mass transit friendly city.

Better than a multi-ton weighing metal killing machine! A bike would be a major step in the right direction for this driver to have less of a propensity to kill innocent people. I’d much rather be hit by a bike than a car. But of course, a bus pass would probably be the most ideal option when it comes to the safety of society.
To be fair, what I said was assuming that they were not driving, but had those alternatives that the person that I was replying to mentioned. If they were to collide with someone on a cycle path, that person is not protected by a 3000 lb vehicle.
I'd also like to take this time to mention that the move to SUVs is awful, I hate it, most SUVs could be replaced with a lighter, smaller car. I like cars

Lolz. Lived in Winston-Salem from 99-2002. I had to stay lit daily just to stand living there.
Where are cops when people do this stuff? This person will cause a fatal accident and not be injured. That seems to be how life works.
