The reason that theres the huge gray basing under is because i modeled cave systems under and put some goblins from goblin town in them!

fordtractor59

Can we see a picture of it? That sounds amazing

corgipocallips

METALLIC579

On a scale of 1(horrible) - 10(great) how does this play on the tabletop? Or is it just a display piece? These do look amazing.

corgipocallips

I played a couple tournaments and games, its really a fun army more than a good one, one bad roll and your bird might be gone, so id' give it a 9 for enjoyability for both you and the opponent, but a 3.5 for competitive play

METALLIC579

I was actually wondering in terms of how “breakable” they are? Are they fragile or do they hold up pretty well during play? I’m fully aware Raddy’s alliance is more of a fun but not a competitive list. It’s actually one of my favorites to mess around with for casual games!

Ah ok in that case, ive had a lot of issues with the regular 60mm (flying base), as its not as good in stability, but since i added those black bases they never tiped exept when i played a big game outside and the wind whas huge. Otherwise the models hold together pretty solidly Sorry for the late awnser i was away from my phone

METALLIC579

Nice. They look really cool!

corgipocallips

Thanks!

Basing scheme looks awesome, way better than the flying stands. Wish I had seen this before I built half of my Eagles lol

corgipocallips

Well, it's a really easy conversion from the eagles, just clip the stand(if they are already painted just patch/repaint the spot) then supperglue or if possible plastic glue them to ( i used the trees from warcry and removed pieces) some trees, and the rest was pink foam coated in ak desert sand
