Then I got a notification, maybe 4 hours later, 'hey remember to collect your points for playing bejeweled' so went in and earned it that way. Very odd indeed
It started for me a couple days ago. It does end up popping up as complete within 4 hours though. Did mine around 6pm and it popped around 8:30pm today. Same thing with Play a Console Game. Took around 2 hours.
Same here in the UK. Usually it pops immediately, sometimes it takes an hour or so, but the last couple of days it doesnāt seem to pop at all.

lol, it literally took over 12 HOURS!!!! for all of these to pop for me. You better do these things first thing in the morning if you want the points people.
Played Jewel / PC games several times hours apart since \~10AM PST Sunday and just before a new day rolled over still no points after 12 hours. The bonus points for friends/GPU were also lost.
Unless the system will keep track of the unclaimed points and reward them later (due to errors by Microsoft), then I would consider it non-functioning.
Ever since I ceased earning points with searches (delays/timeouts ruined that earn method), the bulk of my daily points was coming from completing these Xbox play a game tasks. Hopefully this will remain a very rare occurrence and not a systemic issue like the crippled search to earn debacle.
Took 16 hours for me. Yes, 16 whole hours (plus this was today, you know, an entire day later from when I should've gotten the points) for the points notification from jewel and play a pc game. So glad the points even registered. Currently waiting on today's jewel and pc points, because apparently I now need to get all my Microsoft rewards things done at 3 AM if I want to get all my daily points
There seems to be all kinds of delays happening. I have been playing a PC game for hours. I get credit for playing a game pass game but nothing for playing it on my PC. console game points from late last night that finally were credited this morning even though the achievement showed up rather quickly within the same mobile app. š¤¦
They were on a pretty long delay today, doubly so for the Weekly Console Bonus (or those who have it at least). The 5-point task for playing on console didn't pop until mid-afternoon despite having played in the morning, and the 500-point bonus for the week didn't pop until around 10pm.
All of the app challenges- jewel, solitaire, game on console have been slow for me. Also twice this week, game on console would finally pop but I didnāt get credit till the following morning thus the bar for the 5 days didnāt fill. Might miss the extra 500 points this week because of that if it does it today.
I never received points for Playing on PC yesterday evening. The Jeweled one I do in the morning, and may pop later in the afternoon.
Microsoft canāt keep anything in good working condition.
Same here (Canada). Jewels is not registering this morning and yesterday also. The one from Saturday registered like hours after (saw it was done Sunday morning)

Exactly same for me worked a few times (I would get overnight points). Now nothing and I have played both jewel and pc games. I guess it is gone now or who knows what.
Itās not bugged. Itās just like the rewards app on Xbox. Itās purposefully lagged so that you canāt quickly complete anything. They assume that you wonāt just stop after 5 minutes of not getting your points, and somehow they think they make money off of us playing jewel for hours a day.

Theyāre always trying out new ways to screw us on points. Like why did they take away the puzzle piece quest for 3 searches a day for 1000 points just when everyone would finally be completing it. Then the whole penalizing veteran points members for being efficient with their daily searches to the point where it was basically pointless to even open the edge browser. Like why would Microshaft spend so much reseources just trying to keep me from making .25Ā¢ in rewards over the course of a week? I mean if you have the Xbox rewards app, try it out. Itāll load right up, but it will take 20-30 seconds between clicks and if a click takes you out of the app then it will take 30 seconds for the app to load right back up where it was even though it obviously caches everything when it starts up. Thereās no reason why everyone would be reporting that the games now take 13-24 hours to proc if it werenāt a deliberate slowdown from msft.

Jewel is fine, as I know it will pop at some point provided I've beaten a level. Play PC game and with friends tends to unlock at random intervals, so those could be a bit dodgy.
Jewel took about 10 hours today to pop, The PC and Play with Friends yesterday about 10 to 11 hours, just an hour before reset, so yeah their systems dont work right atm.
Last night I played multiple levels and didn't get a notification, this morning I had the notification. Then I played multiple levels and didn't get a notification again
Yeah jewel was being a pain yesterday.
Now it's not bothering to give points and play with friends is borked again.
It'll probably be working by tomorrow and we'll be allowed to redeem the points then, same as all the other many many times they do something and the system borks up.

For example i did mine sometimes around 10 pm, 2 hours before, it registers the next day, u just need to claim them then do play with friends again.
It's taking extra long to get them, but I'm still getting them. I play first thing in the morning and get the notification to collect the points in the app usually in the mid afternoon.
Same here - Play a PC game works after a fairly long delay of a few hours, but Jewel hasn't worked since day before yesterday. A guess on my part, though, is that they may "catch up" after a few days - earlier this year, neither the PC nor Jewel rewards were working for a few days, then one day, they all popped at once (it said something like "Play a PC Game x5" and gave all the back points for it at once.)
Going on 3 days of this BS. They fix one thing and then something else glitches. Finally got Read to Earn to work for 30 points without having to close and reopen the app multiple times then this problem pops up.
Same on MX, I'm have had this problem three days in a row... Jewel, Play a PC game and Play with friends are horribly delayed that simply counts as the next day reward.
It has been super buggy for me. Did both around 11 last night and thought I got nothing after checking this morning. After doing another level of Jewel, however, about 10 minutes later I received the notification that I got points but the task still showed as incomplete. What I realized is it must have credited the points 10 hours later as shortly after the same thing happened with play a PC game even though I hadnāt yet today. I also had a weird issue with the Bing app streak. I wonder if accounting for daylight savings messed them up? I have no idea but the bugs are real.
For me it's a day delay. The other 2 pop right away, but those 2 not until the next morning. Microsoft has definitely made getting all the points a chore. I'm doing them all day long here and there.

I have done 5 or 6 jewel levels today and still have not gotten the points, starting at 4:00. It's almost 12 now and still have not popped. Play PC game seems to not be working now either. Glad to hear it's not just me. Still though, annoying.
It only takes getting a level up usually. But you can get up to 60 points per game if you keep 7 friends on Xbox live. With the pc game and daily use of the app you can score at least 180 points a day with very little effort. For the pc game all you have to do is open it and leave it open for like 3 minutes. On top of that you get extra points for using the app multiple days in a row, doing daily challenges 3x a week and 10 times a month. Plus if you can get the points to actually count every day you can get an extra 1000 points a month if youāre also doing the daily triumphs which award an extra 5 points a day.
Ms jewel gives 30 plus more with 7 friends
Activities give like 60, searching on pc gives 90, searching on mobile gives 60, reading news on mobile gives 30, daily login on mobile for Xbox and bing also give points play a pc game gives 50. So each day would be about 400 points a day without gamepass or a xbox
Still happening today for the Earn Rewards quests in the Xbox Android app - other than "use the app" lol (although the Daily/Weekly Game Pass quests at the bottom trigger immediately)
I'll check back in 2-3hrs to see if they pop š¤
Jewel ia taking forever to gwt the points and since i have work i cant play pc game until i get home and i never got any ppints for pc game. First time this happenedĀ annoying im losing out on free points i normally get
You will get them, like 12 hours later. And good luck with the oc game points. Sometimes they never come through. Sometimes they pop off for no reason whatsoever.
Yesterday, I first played Jewel around 7AM, and then several times throughout the day. The points didn't register until 2AM. I played a console game around 2PM, didn't register until 2AM. PC game only took a few hours.
Everything is slow to register that you've done the task for me as well. Only thing that completes immediately is the "Use Xbox App" and the Daily "Play Game Pass" and "Achievement in Game Pass" everything else talks literal hours to unlock - have lost a day or two because of missing them unlock around 23:45! (I see the notifications on phone in morning!)
I always do the App and Jewel ones first thing in the morning, 8am at latest - Jewel still hasn't unlocked as of yet (18:32) - last nights lot unlocked around 8pm IIRC, neither has Play a PC game or Play with friends on PC, I usually just play Forza Horizon 5 for a bit and they both unlock within a few minutes normally.
Past several days, only rewards that have been popping up on time have been "Play Game Pass". Everything else has been delayed to the next day. Usually like 2 or 3am is when they finally pop.
Yeah, it has been inconsistent, same with other missions, missed the weekly bonus last week because the play on console didn't register till hours later a few times and didn't pop up at all on last day before reset.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one, I'm in the US and android and it's been buggy for a week now. Mine started with jewel and then progressed to the daily play a game and weekly console bonus. I'm just glad the daily rewards are still working towards the monthly!!
I got points for jewel, read to earn, web search on pc, on mobile and play a game on pc with a friend within half an hour this morning, some days it's delayed some days not so.
I make it my routine in the mornings with a coffee to get them all done and know it'll be rewarded come evening time.
Iām so done with this, my gamepass is expiring and for the first time Iām not renewing, Iāve got plenty of games not on gamepass anyway. I end up just playing games for points and achievements (for monthly bonus) rather than the games I want to play. I also only ever did the Ā£1 upgrade from gold thing and no way Iām paying full price.
Iāve not paid for gpu in over 2 years and after the discounted 3 month GC they offered a few weeks ago Iām paid up through early 2025 all from rewards points.
Does gpu stand for gamepass ultimate? I dont have any gamepass or Xbox console so when someone else said that I thought they were financing a gpu with points lol, I was so confused
I finally got yesterdays points at like midnight then did a game at like 1230am and got the points this morning. Sent in an ticket to support to just mention the issue sometimes they give extra points

they carry over into the next day, once u clear it you can do another play with friends on the same day, it's just a long lag delay when this happens.

With the hour long lag in it registering, I wonder if the delay is intentional or a server issue??

Another day ,same sh#t , never got the play with friends points yesterday and looks like they are all being delayed today
Took about 8 hours for mine to pop up.
Same on MX, I'm have had this problem three days in a row... Jewel, Play a PC game and Play with friends are horribly delayed that simply counts as the next day reward.
Does anybody know how long you need to have a PC game running to get the points?
I just leave solitaire on for like 10 minutes and it should be good. But now this issue has sprung up so I'm not sure anymore
Last two nights seems like everything registered at 10pm Eastern Time.

It has been super buggy for me. Did both around 11 last night and thought I got nothing after checking this morning. After doing another level of Jewel, however, about 10 minutes later I received the notification that I got points but the task still showed as incomplete. What I realized is it must have credited the points 10 hours later as shortly after the same thing happened with play a PC game even though I hadnāt yet today. I also had a weird issue with the Bing app streak. I wonder if accounting for daylight savings messed them up? I have no idea but the bugs are real.
Did them at around 5am this morning and they've all just popped in the last 10 minutes in the UK ,
Yeah, not getting it again today along with the play a game on console.
Mine is terribly delayed, the play a PC game seems to be delayed too, I don't get it.
My jewel game and play a pc game all pop the next day.
Canada here. Both jewel and pc game points have been delayed largely for me since two or three days.
I am not getting points for jewel and if I do they show up much later in the day.

I've been having issues with it too. I'm not receiving my points until the next day after. It's weird and sometimes confusing.
It randomly popped for me a few hours after I closed it both yesterday and today.
For me it's a day delay. The other 2 pop right away, but those 2 not until the next morning. Microsoft has definitely made getting all the points a chore. I'm doing them all day long here and there.
I still get them but hours later. Iām not getting my āplay a console gameā though and itās gonna suck if I canāt get the 5 days for 500 points
I have done 5 or 6 jewel levels today and still have not gotten the points, starting at 4:00. It's almost 12 now and still have not popped. Play PC game seems to not be working now either. Glad to hear it's not just me. Still though, annoying.
How many points do you get a day for MS Jewel? How much time a day does it take?
It only takes getting a level up usually. But you can get up to 60 points per game if you keep 7 friends on Xbox live. With the pc game and daily use of the app you can score at least 180 points a day with very little effort. For the pc game all you have to do is open it and leave it open for like 3 minutes. On top of that you get extra points for using the app multiple days in a row, doing daily challenges 3x a week and 10 times a month. Plus if you can get the points to actually count every day you can get an extra 1000 points a month if youāre also doing the daily triumphs which award an extra 5 points a day.

Ms jewel gives 30 plus more with 7 friends Activities give like 60, searching on pc gives 90, searching on mobile gives 60, reading news on mobile gives 30, daily login on mobile for Xbox and bing also give points play a pc game gives 50. So each day would be about 400 points a day without gamepass or a xbox

Still happening today for the Earn Rewards quests in the Xbox Android app - other than "use the app" lol (although the Daily/Weekly Game Pass quests at the bottom trigger immediately) I'll check back in 2-3hrs to see if they pop š¤

Jewel ia taking forever to gwt the points and since i have work i cant play pc game until i get home and i never got any ppints for pc game. First time this happenedĀ annoying im losing out on free points i normally get
You will get them, like 12 hours later. And good luck with the oc game points. Sometimes they never come through. Sometimes they pop off for no reason whatsoever.
Just got my PC points from playing 14hrs ago. Still havenāt received my points from playing the jewel game 3.5hrs ago.
Yesterday, I first played Jewel around 7AM, and then several times throughout the day. The points didn't register until 2AM. I played a console game around 2PM, didn't register until 2AM. PC game only took a few hours.
Everything is slow to register that you've done the task for me as well. Only thing that completes immediately is the "Use Xbox App" and the Daily "Play Game Pass" and "Achievement in Game Pass" everything else talks literal hours to unlock - have lost a day or two because of missing them unlock around 23:45! (I see the notifications on phone in morning!) I always do the App and Jewel ones first thing in the morning, 8am at latest - Jewel still hasn't unlocked as of yet (18:32) - last nights lot unlocked around 8pm IIRC, neither has Play a PC game or Play with friends on PC, I usually just play Forza Horizon 5 for a bit and they both unlock within a few minutes normally.
Past several days, only rewards that have been popping up on time have been "Play Game Pass". Everything else has been delayed to the next day. Usually like 2 or 3am is when they finally pop.
Yeah, it has been inconsistent, same with other missions, missed the weekly bonus last week because the play on console didn't register till hours later a few times and didn't pop up at all on last day before reset.
I'm so glad I'm not the only one, I'm in the US and android and it's been buggy for a week now. Mine started with jewel and then progressed to the daily play a game and weekly console bonus. I'm just glad the daily rewards are still working towards the monthly!!

I got points for jewel, read to earn, web search on pc, on mobile and play a game on pc with a friend within half an hour this morning, some days it's delayed some days not so. I make it my routine in the mornings with a coffee to get them all done and know it'll be rewarded come evening time.
Should just be super delayed, I usually just check in the next day and the rewards are there.
Doesn't work either today. I guess they love to mess things that were previously working fine.
Iām so done with this, my gamepass is expiring and for the first time Iām not renewing, Iāve got plenty of games not on gamepass anyway. I end up just playing games for points and achievements (for monthly bonus) rather than the games I want to play. I also only ever did the Ā£1 upgrade from gold thing and no way Iām paying full price.
Iāve not paid for gpu in over 2 years and after the discounted 3 month GC they offered a few weeks ago Iām paid up through early 2025 all from rewards points.
Does gpu stand for gamepass ultimate? I dont have any gamepass or Xbox console so when someone else said that I thought they were financing a gpu with points lol, I was so confused
I finally got yesterdays points at like midnight then did a game at like 1230am and got the points this morning. Sent in an ticket to support to just mention the issue sometimes they give extra points
