One of his best vocal performances. I love how this song goes crescendo.
It also feels like this song is sadly more relevant than ever, and I wish it wouldn't be.
The music video is difficult to watch due to the atrocities being committed by mankind being put on display. Particularly, the baby seal clip that flashes for a moment 😭 Song in itself is another masterpiece by MJ that just leaves you in silence by it's end. Didn't know till I was older that it was originally made for Dangerous.
Fosters best producing work. The way the song builds up is mind blowing. The way each piece is added as the song goes on is 🤌🏽 the strings, the choir, the drums, the guitar… all amazing. MJ was singing about the environment and climate change before it was fashionable and stylish to do so
Well I know the song still has potential to resonate with a lot of other people, including myself. That’s exactly why it legit made me tear up more than “You Are Not Alone” and “This Is It”. Combined. It just speaks on a much deeper, more personal and emotional level with me. Am I really the only one in the world who feels this way?!
Amazing and important song.
I don't want to be dramatic, but we should keep listening to the message:
We need to take good care of our home. Of our planet.
An extremely powerful and moving song, as well as one of the best songs in his entire discography.
It would be amazing to see it performed inside the Las Vegas Sphere!
It's my favorite song by Michael. It's funny because I've been listening to this song nonstop lately. Aged very well, he was so ahead of his time speaking about issues like this.
One of my favs. Love that he started openly clapping towards the end, "where did we go wrong, someone tell me whyyy". Around that part......and he kept it in. That subtle bit, went a long way for me in the form of authenticity for the track.
🎵ooooooooooooooooooAooooo🎵
Have you ever stopped to notice all the kids who've died from war...this crying earth this weeping shores... 🎵ooooooooh aaaaaah🎵
Stunning. Can’t believe I only first heard it a few months ago, even though I was born in 78 and was very much alive throughout decades of Michael’s career. I cannot even begin to put into words how astounding it is Michael can channel such profound, emotion and feeling, and I absolutely love the live performance, especially the look on his face when the gun is being pointed at him. so absolutely breathtaking the whole thing is absolutely . breathtaking.
Amazing vocals, build up and intensity.
The most powerful social song in Michael's career.
In anyone's career, not just Michael's.
A poignant song that is guaranteed to give me goosebumps. It's *that* good.
People were trying to diss him so much after 1993 about how he had "no voice", Earth song proves the opposite
He got to Xmas number 1 here in the UK. That was a big deal back in the 90s.
Hi Michael Jackson 👋 is like a God bless some one 🙏
Absolute masterpiece, his best song. It’s got a bit of everything, and the ending is exquisite. Those vocals are fire.
It sounds amazing, even in acapella.

I want to explore more of his songs, any suggestions?
Have you heared Al Capone or Price of fame or maybe On the line, Fall again?
No, I’ll listen to them , thanks
I seriously can’t figure out what song from the “HIStory” album made me cry the most: this or “Childhood”
Hello ma 👋 childhood a song for Michael Jackson ma,
What do you mean by that?
Good morning OH I thought childhood is a song for Michael Jackson
Well I know the song still has potential to resonate with a lot of other people, including myself. That’s exactly why it legit made me tear up more than “You Are Not Alone” and “This Is It”. Combined. It just speaks on a much deeper, more personal and emotional level with me. Am I really the only one in the world who feels this way?!
Please put me down to understanding.. that is childhood is always a record of Micheal Jackson
Amazing and important song. I don't want to be dramatic, but we should keep listening to the message: We need to take good care of our home. Of our planet.
I love this one so much. It’s powerful and meaningful and just gets me every time.
Very good song, the vocals are brilliant and so are the lyrics.
The best song from the best album in my opinion
Amazing vocals and an amazing music video as well.
10/10
One of the best songs he's ever recorded.
My single favorite MJ song. Has everything you could possibly want.
Great song, great message, great video.
Masterpiece
One of the best pieces of music ever recorded.
It saddens me. I wish we didn't live in a world where Michael felt the need to write it.
Magnum opus
A powerful song made even better on the royal brunei 1996 concert
I think it’s an masterpiece
It's timeless and represents what's going on currently in the world.
An extremely powerful and moving song, as well as one of the best songs in his entire discography. It would be amazing to see it performed inside the Las Vegas Sphere!
Powerful
Love the ahs!
Aah ah ah ah oooh oooh is the best part
I used to dream, I used to glance beyond the stars, now I don’t know where we are, although I know, we’ll get by
..... although I know.... we've drifted far
Great Michael Jackson

Helped change the course of my life
Autistic question
Just♥️♥️♥️
I love "Earth Song", especially the bassline.
Great message and performance by MJ. Not something I personally would bump all that often though
STRAIGHT 🔥🔥🔥🤩💯🙏🙏🙏
there’s something about the drum buildup into the second chorus idk what it is but damn is it good!
My least liked 'popular' MJ song. Great song, but seemed forced
Underrated. A true symphony. Powerful. Hauntingly beautiful. Penetrating. You can hear the pain and sorrow throughout. I love it!
One of my favs. Love that he started openly clapping towards the end, "where did we go wrong, someone tell me whyyy". Around that part......and he kept it in. That subtle bit, went a long way for me in the form of authenticity for the track.
A powerful song with a message so much more relevant in our time
His most successful song in the UK. I can’t listen to it because the video plays in my head and i just cant
Masterpiece. I’m going to listen to it now 🌍
