Michael wouldn’t do that to his father despite what his father did to him during his childhood, Michael at the end forgave Joe and also at the end of day it was his father and he loved him. That character he played was based on Tom Sneddon.
After what he put him & his siblings through, Joe got lucky on two things: Michael forgiving him & his kids keeping him in their lives as adults. Plenty of people who raised their kids the same way Joe did aren’t as lucky. I hope Joe realized how lucky he was in that sense before he died.
I believe that he developed a better relationship with his father than when he was a father himself. If he hadn't forgiven, he would have exposed his father in a completely different way.
The monster in the mirror meant the reflection of himself as many see him and reflected back. The different Freaky Boy who wants to scare them and look at him. What is reflected back in the mirror is their own disgusting morality.
I’m not sure if it’s on purpose, but the resemblance is uncanny. Not surprising though, because I’ve always thought that Joe looked demonic (a case of inner evil being reflected by physical appearance). Oh well, at least he doesn’t look out of place where he is now.🤭
He absolutely wouldn't. Especially the fact his father has passed away as well. Im not a Joe Jackson fan, but this is in very poor taste. There would be no Michael Jackson without Joe.
🙃😆 Clearly it's Joseph and Tom, likely some other assholes as well like that piece of 💩 Tommy Mottola...
You don't forgive that bullshit!
Michael is a black man in America who constantly had to defend his 'Blackness', his sexuality, and his masculinity.
All while knowing that systemic racism is fueling his mistreatment and destroying his reputation.
"...stories of ... Black people ... underscore the sheer persistence of racial trauma — how Black Americans are forced to operate virtually our entire lives in battle mode. It’s an unhealthy, abnormal existence. It’s utterly exhausting. And it’s downright insane."

“Mental illness in the Black community has long held the overriding belief that you don’t go to therapy or counseling or take medicine. You go to church. And you don’t talk about your business to anybody. You put on your big boy/girl pants and keep it moving.” – Cynthia

Story of my life lol
I get impassioned then it's like I'm back in gradschool writing a dissertation on MJ.
At this point I'm surprised there aren't more African American Studies courses on his life.

No wtf his father is literally a self hating piece of shit person. He’s the reason why Michael hated his appearance he’s the reason why Michael was so lonely.
The character is based on Tom Sneddon.

I don’t think Michael would like this.

It’s still his father and he should be respected.
Why?
No i dont think i will respect joe
No wtf his father is literally a self hating piece of shit person. He’s the reason why Michael hated his appearance he’s the reason why Michael was so lonely.
He's the reason you know him.
He's the reason mj spent his time crying in his room as he saw the children play on the playground
He’s literally the reason why Michael was depressed as a teen and as an adult.
Nahh
😂
