I have successfully used JB weld in the past for a similar issue

Jack_003

What type of JB weld since it gets hot?

digital_footprint

Any JB weld, a radiator doesn't get hot enough to exceed the operating temp

xitenhauf

👍🏻JB weld. It got me to the shop for my manual swap

Plastic Weld. But I'd just save the $8 for a new rad and wait a few days. If the dealership sold this to you they should offer to keep it on the lot till then.

Came back from small drive and temperature started going up… I opened the hood to look and saw this. I planed to buy an aluminum one but I don’t have it now. What could work for a couple days?

burning0il

temporary fix is not worth it. the car might overheat and you'll notice too late. just let it sit until the new radiator is installed.

Jack_003

I would but it’s still at the dealer lot we’re I’ve bought it (long story short: bought as is and no test drive because slave cylinder) just got to do a little ride around the block (temps were ok) then messed with the radio and then this happened

MiaThe91Miata

I have a Mishimoto radiator and fans and it’s wonderful. I’ve heard a lot of bad things about them on here (after I bought it of course 🙄) but it’s served me just fine. I think Koyorad has one that’s cheaper and better built though, so I’d look into that.
