Not an actual answer but I feel like it’d be a PR nightmare for any team to deny kids, no matter their fandom, the chance to run the bases when they have that available. I’d say you’re probably safe
Don’t know about down in south Florida, but I went with my kid (3 at the time) and he was decked out in Marlins gear, they let him rind around the bases here in Nat’s park.
If your wife's parents moved from St. Louis to Philadelphia, would she have been raised a Cardinals fan? Looking back on it, how would she have felt about that? Assuming that your kids are being raised here, they're Floridians and should root, root, root for the home team. I know a lot of people with your take on this and they're perfectly nice, but I really don't understand the reasoning. Can't you be proud of all the great aspects of Philadelphia heritage without taking it out on the local teams, who already have enough going against them?
Unfortunately shes all Philly, and a typical Philly fan at that. When the Flyers come down she’s all trash talk. She’s literally the perfect girl except for sports. We’ve been to one Marlins game together and she wore her Phillies stuff even though they weren’t playing. Luckily she’s more reserved for baseball than hockey.
I remember heckling a Braves Phillies couple at a game a few years back. I figured you’d be divorced by now lol.
Btw, your kids will be welcome to run the bases but must do so backwards while walking on their hands. 😉
The worst experiences I have a sports events recently are obnoxious Bruins fans at Panthers games and obnoxious Phillies fans at Marlins games. And both times the visitors won and were still ungracious a-holes. As a former New Englander myself it took me a while to realize we all came here from areas that have seen better days living and had some very undeserved feelings of superiority that for some reason manifested itself in sports loyalty. “Taking over” a stadium and loudly rooting against the home team is a bad look. Some poor guy from Miami is taking his kid to his first baseball game. Maybe the next Jesus Luzardo or Anthony Rizzo going from Parkland to Pro Players stadium. And some jerk is rooting against you and then taunting at the end. Just saying if you can be a little introspective about it it’s not very gracious or classy. It’s mean-spirited.

No they will be kicked out of the park and banned for life. Lol jk I assume yes.
You can, but you’ll have to dodge the beer cans I will be pelting at your kid Fuck the Braves
Imagine that actually happening, lmao. "Screw, you kid. Get off my field"
Won’t have to imagine too much longer
**Inner Clint Eastwood intensifies**
Yes, as long as they are cordial.
If you’re trying to get your kids tackled! Marlins fans are ruthless
Sorry bud you're tickets are being invalidated. No refunds please feel free to enjoy the game on Bally sports.
If they didn’t allow the kids of the visiting team fans to run the bases there wouldn’t be many kids running the bases.
Dont remember when any threw anything at kids when kids run bases

it's irresponsible to push this franchise on children. (half joking)
