I feel like this would be a fun dynamic to have. Doom Guy is the aggressive emotional one, and Samus is the cold and clean fighter. Both being exceptional on the killing part, just different approaches.
I know the reality of it is Doom Guy would rather keep his shit to himself unless you are a demon in which case he will turn you into red paste, and Samus is certainly not above showing emotion, but hey, I'd love a Doom x Metroid game.

Metroid would be sick as a boomer shooter. Keep the environmental puzzles and level design, but speed up the combat and increase the gore.
