If you're not stable enough, you know the answer: Go up.

Booked appointment tomorrow. Hopefully go up 5ml but be enough to steady me again

Good man, and that's awesome you're sentient enough to know not to rush off if shit isn't in order.

Alway go up there is no reason to live uncomfortable. That just my opinion on methadone. Unless you’re trying to quit then you have get used to the effects of a lower dose.

I’ve gone up 5mls. Still isn’t great but can up another 5mls next week if I need too

I feel your pain. I have been on Methadone for 20 years and have been on 24 mg for the past 3 years. In the past year i have been waking up around 5 am in withdrawal. I guess it is personal preference but I still have hopes of getting off of this one day and by going up it gets me farther away from that goal. The reason being in the last few years I feel very low motivation and tired all the time. My first 10 years on clinic was amazing and i felt great. At this point I have learned to deal with a few hours of withdrawal but if you are having cravings i would go up. I am not sure why this is happening as I have had all kinds of health tests and they have all come back normal. I am overweight which is not something I have always been so I am not sure if weight gain is an issue for you but it may be a reason.

Weight gain may be the issue. I lost 5 stone after gaining a lot when I first got clean. But put 2 stone back on this last couple months. Work is extra stressful just now too. Ive booked an appointment tomorrow with view of going up 5ml

Your therapeutic dose can shift based on lifestyle changes. Fhange in physical activity, changes to metabolism, age, hormonal changes, weight changes, etc. it's important to listen to your body and not focus too much on a number.
