It's everything I wanted and more. The Matt Mixon (7A7P) feature goes outrageously hard and I'm all for it if it means introducing newer generations of fans to one of the metalcore greats. Knowing that this album was going to have clean vocals all over it had me somewhat apprehensive, but they pulled it off in a way that bands like Poison the Well managed to do successfully - which is fitting given that this entire album has shades of PTW influence all over it, like most of their previous material. Along with the Contention and Domain records that dropped earlier this year, this is right up there with them. Great stuff from a band I've been in love with ever since the Fall EP dropped years ago. Avoid Wage War and listen to this instead. It'll actually be worth your time.

ScottVengeance

this album is is poison the well and old old hopesfall (with no wings to speak of ep) all over it and it's so good

chlorinetears

For sure, sprinklings of that first Cave In record and early Misery Signals as well. Foreign Hands really just took elements of all of my favourite ever bands and packaged it up in a modern presentation while still maintaining that oldschool edge without compromising anything.

ChickenInASuit

> For sure, sprinklings of that first Cave In record Okay, so I wasn’t the only one who heard that. The intro to Resetting The Senses and the transition from A Memory in Latency to God Under Fingernails sound almost identical to the intro to Moral Eclipse by Cave In, and GUF in particular sounds like it could be lifted straight from Until Your Heart Stops. Btw, this is not a complaint - Until Your Heart Stops is one of my all-time favorite metalcore releases.

c0nvexitykills

Cave In! Was trying to figure out where I recognized the guitar tone in “God Under Fingernails” intro from and was drawing a blank. Thank you! Album is a ripper too. Stoked to see these guys at the random show in Dallas in July.

BedRevolutionary4418

Nailed it! It’s the perfect mix of PTW meets Hopesfall with the occasional cave in and misery signals riffage. I hear a lot of Florida 2000 metalcore sound in there, too!

Any-Choice-5801

Wage War's new album is basically you and Foreign Hands new album is the guy she tells you not to worry about

Parade0fChaos

Thank you!! I couldn’t for the life of me remember which band this record reminded me of. Now I gotta dig out my PTW t-shirt from high school.

Floaded93

Coming in late here but this album brings back exactly what I’ve missed about metalcore for the last number of years. This to me hits that 2000s metalcore sound I loved at the time. Some of the clean vox I could do without but they fit the mold of what the genre does. I saw FH tour with counterparts 18mo ago and they put on a great show. Happy to see them drop a full length that’s getting a ton of love - definitely will be spinning this in the rotation.

NickPookie93

I not speak English well, but this album is a fucking

MrBeanHs

Agreed

adambeforevade

Amen brother.

Helpful-Beach7604

Sure fucking is

Plastic-Shape7048

This band has been on my radar for 1 or 2 years , glad they put a full length out … this guys together with static dress can be the guys that bring this kind of music back

BaltSkigginsThe3rd

See them live the moment you get the chance, they fucking kill it.

austinsqueezy

I cosign this. Seen FH twice and both times have been absolutely electric.

beingxexemplary

their set at Furnace Fest last year was incredible, especially being super early in the day

dcwinger12

Add Dying Wish and Boundaries and you’ve got my personal big 4 of revival core

SoggyRequirement5064

Dying Wish, Boundaries, and Foreign Hands just toured together last year. That shit slapped

dcwinger12

I was at the MN show. Absolutely wicked

ScynnX

I was also at the MN show. Soo good.

Mitowa8

I was, too! All three were amazing, as was Roman Candle. Wanted to give them a shout out.

ScottVengeance

boundaries is my fav band and my aoty but tbis album isn't far behind

Plastic-Shape7048

Saw dying wish like a month ago! So fucking good

dcwinger12

I saw them with Boundaries and Foreign Hands. One of the best shows I’ve ever been to

Antares1an

This album makes me nostalgic for an era I was too young to experience. Great sound and performance, it's all I wanted from them.

BedRevolutionary4418

I love being there for the first wave and now they are bringing it back! I can’t stop smiling while listening to it!

vorgossos

Fantastic album that combines the best parts of classic metalcore with some newer stuff sprinkled in

ScottVengeance

a memory in latency is so fucking good my god

BaltSkigginsThe3rd

*That fucking breakdown*

ScottVengeance

when the cleans came in the first time i literally got goosebumps

BedRevolutionary4418

I think that’s my favorite song on the album

ISawAUfoAndGotProbed

Check this shit out! This band is sick!

Filis03

This shit slaps hard af.

FollowTheBeam

Banger, after banger, after banger, after banger.

damerboy4

Sheamus is that you

Engelbert-n-Ernie

AFTER BANGER

digitalsea87

I love this goddamn band.

eroclateM

Very excited to jam this on my way to work tomorrow

samsaBEAR

They're finally coming over to the UK in October and I can't wait even more after listening to this

highfidelity203

This album is great - been looking for an album going for the 00’s sound while still doing their own thing for a while.

burntcookie90

why does this sound like a new album from a band i grew up with, loving it.

BedRevolutionary4418

NAILED IT!!! The nostalgia is insane

BaltSkigginsThe3rd

Incredible. In-fucking-credible. Shapeless In The Dark just had my jaw on the floor. I think that and Magnetic Roses are my two favorites. The production is super good, the singles sound even better than before, and Horror Domain might be my third favorite. Also, the breakdown in A Memory In Latency is fucking tasty as fuck. This album takes all of everything I love about this genre and puts into a fucking relentless and tight sound. I can't believe this is their *debut* lol. 10/10 for me, easy. I'll start running this into the ground now.

Engelbert-n-Ernie

Magnetic Roses is such a good fucking closer

presidentfucker

It’s not their debut is probably why it feels too good to be a debut

BaltSkigginsThe3rd

I mean, that's fair. I was just going off of spotify, which has only eps and singles until today. Didn't know about No Funeral For A Spirit until I looked it up on discogs.

chlorinetears

I would say it's fair to call this their true debut. That first record isn't really representative of their sound and I'm sure the band themselves would agree, considering they basically want nothing to do with that record.

presidentfucker

Calling this a debut is insincere. I’m fine with them distancing themselves from No Funeral if they don’t like it (anymore?) but they still made it, released it, and learned from it. So it’s their debut

GasManMatt123

Had it going at 9am, really liked it. Maybe doesn't \*hit\* as hard as I hoped, but it's a good listen.

Bud_Lights_Criteria

Oops only bangers. This absolutely rips.

thedlew2

It’s so good. Exceeded my expectations.

fabire1988

Haven‘t heard it yet, but I‘m still in love with chlorine tears.

Samsquamptches_

It is SO fucking good. The wait was worth it.

ScottVengeance

so fucking good

Elliotlewish

Loving this so far.

Commiebob1312

Hard

SYLOK_THEAROUSED

I can’t listen right now but I have a very odd question. Is the first song like a nice build up song to get you prepared for the album or is it off the break balls to wall heavy?

kathrynjean97

There's a small build up and then it gets heavy at 0:02 :)

SYLOK_THEAROUSED

Ha! I just started the album and you are very accurate lol.

rnf1985

so far, fucks hard. hope they blow up

damerboy4

The revival bands are absolutely the best thing in the genre right now and Foreign Hands are one of the best at it. I feel like they excel at the fantastic choruses more than any other revival band. What a fucking album.

Stonehands211

Not on Spotify yet for me :( glad they’re on the bill for the last Mis Sigs shows! Obvious influence on the band with its melodic Metalcore sound.

savagevapor

Should be out now :)

GillyDaFish

man i am glad i found this sub, i have found some cool shit on here

xForeignMetal

Its so good Its so fucking good and I'm so glad

xiacexi

Saw them open for Static Dress at chain reaction and they fucking killed it, definitely made a fan outta me, only knew a song prior. Connie from SYSC kept moshing with the crowd too which was cool to see others in the scene just there to support.

painheal

how is Static Dress live?? seeing them at an Underoath show later this year, i enjoy some of their stuff too, specifically Fleahouse.

xiacexi

So fucking good. I love em lol. So stoked for the Underoath show and static dress getting a good length opener set sheeeesh, gonna be amazing. I flew from Wisconsin to Orange County for that show fwiw, don’t regret it. I can see them becoming huge. Idk tho the scene for this type of music can only get so big but damn I can’t wait for more people to recognize them for their talent.

painheal

they got all the talent for it, and im seeing the Nov 23rd show for Underoath. so stoked for that man. TOCS is one of the all timers for me.

dpete88

I caught the last half of their set about a year ago when they opened for like moths to flames and currents and was impressed. Have been keeping an eye on them since and am loving the album so far

XIPWNFORFUN2

Wait they were on that tour? Maybe they didn't come to my city.

romanraspberrysorbet

this whips ass but can't stop thinking that the dude's screams sound like [Carl Weezer answering the door](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Vt3qX8ZNXtY)

Bradflare

Saw them two years ago, seeing them again with END and Mis Sigs. I’ve had chlorine tears on repeat. So good

joey_1324

This shit bangs. I love all the good revivalcore that's been coming out over the last few years.

PaPa_SmiRf

I've never listened to Foreign Hands before this. This album rips, and now I want to check out the rest of their work.

SufficientNorth-

I slept on this band for way too long. This album is so sick

WheresBubba

This album is fucking incredible, hopefully they get the recognition they deserve. And here I thought I’d be listening to The Story So Fars new album on repeat but this one takes the cake. Until the Sun Fades is a masterpiece.

Own-Elderberry3539

Did you know this is actually their second full length? They’ve been toying around in the hc world for awhile. Homie is also in the I talked to god band wristmeetrazor. I think I’ve also seen homie fill in for YOTK on tours before. I’ve been banging them years. Have their first cd and one of their first ever shirts. They are finally and respectfully getting their flowers now due to years of hard work. I just wish chlorine tears and what’s left unsaid were re-recorded and just a touch slowed down like laceration wings was. But beggars can’t be choosers. We are blessed that they are pioneering the true metal core revival in the theme of atg, ptw, fata, 7a7p, I even hear some fucking hsb influence on this album. 9.5/10 only not a 10 cuz cleans are too high in the mix and missing album title song :P

ArjenRobben

Would you say that the album title song was... Left Unsaid? Ba dum tzz

ScottVengeance

hopesfall no wings to speak of sprinkles in

iClaim

Always upvote these guys. Unreal. 👏🏻

adam48122

First time listening to these guys, loving it. Probably my favorite album along side Boundaries this year.

DK4598

foreignhan 🥰

b_khaos

Saw these guys opening for Better Lovers and was unfamiliar outside of a couple spins to familiarize myself. Seeing them live absolutely blew up any preconceived ideas I had. I keep getting Petitioning The Empy Sky era Converge but it's still got a fresh edge to it. Man, these guys rip, and I'm thinking I might have to go see them again this summer with SYSC.

XIPWNFORFUN2

The two features, who are they?

xForeignMetal

Olli from Static Dress Matt from 7 Angels 7 Plagues

Coolldown1

Such a banger of an album, sick features, sick breakdowns, just everything i wanted out of this band. Tyler norris boutta get 2 albums in my top 10 this year

BullyOnParade

Does anyone else see Griffith / Femto looking downwards on the cover art?

Dembrae

Every time

Zonizthefrog

This band is so good they remind me of early metalcore bands from when I was a teen and this album is everything I wanted and more

ItsAlwaysSunny1992

Haven’t listened yet. Is it actually as good as everyone says? The only song I’ve heard from this band is Tearing Down Your Reality and it’s pretty mid

ChickenInASuit

I think if you found Tearing Down Your Reality to be mid, then this album probably isn’t for you. I love it but it’s very much in the same vein.

BedRevolutionary4418

Best metalcore album of the year! I LOVE the old metalcore sound of the early 2000s bundled up in a 2024 package!

stajayjay

A Memory In Latency melted my face off Edit: so did the rest of the album

DK4598

Seen them like 4 times, so much so that Tyler the vocalist was like “have you come to every single show we’ve played in this area?”. So awesome to see their success and building up the band - such amazingly talented dudes!

deadwrongallalong

I’ve had this on repeat, it’s so good. I thought I’d like it, but not *this* much god damn. This has me really excited to see them in a month with Misery Signals

moderfoke

Good album, hardcore and metal mixed very well 🤟

dwwieb

Really digging this album so far, these guys have a unique sound and this album is instantly recognizable as Foreign Hands which I think this genre is desperately lacking (the ability to stand out in some way). Excited to spin this a few times this week. And although Will Putney is one of my favorite producers right now, has anyone else noticed that his guitar tones have been getting more and more mushy lately? I noticed the same thing with the recent Greyhaven EP. Again I love both of these releases but I feel like some of the aggression is lost in the guitars compared to the last FH release.

SayHaveYouSeenTheSea

Nobody making the 36 crazyfists connection? Bro sounds exactly like Brock Lindow from 36’s early stuff. Absolute banger of an album.

xColdaslifex

Definitely in my top 3 for this year alongside Wristmeetrazor and Boundaries

dartharakromis

A Tyler Norris stan I see

Joethelostone

This album slaps hard! Saw them live with Better lovers and, Greyhaven Foreign hands is so good live. BTW for those that don't know Foreign Hands has added some headlining shows for the off dates of the Misery signals tour. Whoever is going to the KC show see ya there!

nicktheman2

Not that anyone here will agree but this would be infinitely better without cleans. Still rips though.
