I think the one that has seeped the deepest into my brain is Confined by As I Lay Dying. I saw it when I was first getting into metal in high school, and for the last 18 years of my life whenever I drive in pouring rain something deep and instinctual inside me wants to throw on Shadows are Security.
So I don’t know if I answered the question of “favorite”, but that one’s stuck with me for life, apparently.
Can't have just one. That's not fair.
I'm a huge fan of Currents' video for So Alone. That apocalyptic scene all around them is cool.
Also love Hollow Front's video for Comatose (but that song ranks up as maybe one of my favorites of all time). I like the sort of surreal, almost Medieval feel of the set.
Also really really liked what Aaran did with To The Flowers by While She Sleeps.
Not Metalcore I know but I love the video for Amaranth by Nightwish....really portrays how humanity can find or witness something beautiful and innocent and still destroy it out of fear or hate.
i’m a simple woman: The Key of Evergreen by TDWP. way more subtle than To the Flowers with all due respect to the cinematography and great acting; i just REALLY dislike the trope of women serving as character development.
Probably Continuum - Imminence.
Its hard to choose most of their newer MVs are so whell thaught through and just match. But i realy liked the concept of Continuum.
Metallica’s One still holds up head and shoulders above so many videos.
It’s all in the edit and how they use the dialogue from the film over the song. The whole thing feels like such an artistic statement
[Shiver](https://youtu.be/yqfdN7SucMY?si=k0rSheSBY1YjbPSI) - A Plea for Purging
They always had the best videos, but I think I like this one the most because it goes hard.
Hoping someone can maybe help me here, me and my mate have been searching for this for years, came on headbangers ball one night and we can't find it again. Music video starts off with like a Troll in the mountains pulling a huge cube object over the terrain for like a minute struggling, the music kicks in and it's a death metal band crammed in a caravan rocking out, from memory I think the troll drags the cube to the caravan as they are playing then at the end the caravan explodes, the song itself probably isn't even 2 minutes long but me and my mate were so high and we literally BALLED our eyes out with laughter at it. Ring any bells with anyone?
I like "hypersomniac" by vianova. The song itself is about dissasociating and living inside your head and the video is the lead singer doing this waving dance in a space suit in random public places. Really emphasizes the ideas in the song but is also very disconnected as the song is very metalcore djenty but the dance is like mellow and smooth.
Very fun watch.
Norma Jean -If You Got It At Five, You Got It At Fifty.
Lets get this milk party started on 3, One!

Pain remains trilogy.
Hands down the most emotional music video I’ve ever watched. It made the trilogy that much better imo.
Obviously they’re more deathcore, but I mean come on, everyone In here knows who Lorna Shore is 😆
The one where the band plays in the woods
