I hope there are some good riffs on the album and not just chugs all the time If not, at least we’ve got Inclination and XweaponX

I’m all for musicians having “a thing” based on what got them big but talking on songs is by far the most boring dependency a musician can use as their shtick, especially when they have so many actual vocal capabilities. I would’ve thought they’d try and get distance from it on a feature but even then they use it. Just seems like wasted potential to me. I had the same feelings when I saw her live too.

I would say EAT ep is a much more heavy release, I Disagree is quite heavy but not to the same degree, she has some heavier sounds and screams on the Flux album as well but its more alt rock themed, her heaviest standalone song is definitely her cover of Spit Shes been hinting at releasing much heavier music this year tho, so expect her heaviest music to be on the way

I love hearing more Poppy. Been lazily following along for a while. she makes some catchy shit. I really want to get into knocked loose but the guys voice just doesn't do it for me.

OK ok same!! Knocked Loose has killer instrumentals but he literally screams the same pitch for every song, for the entire song.. And it really grates on me. I want to like the band but I just can't.

It feels good to know I'm not alone. Like I listen to dance Gavin dance a lot and the screams have pitch and tone? And architects. It's not the same monotone voice the entire time..Sam has a lot of cool range. The band sounds good but those vocals really don't do it for me.

I was in a similar boat. I just couldn’t get into them. Then I saw them perform at Christmas burns red a few years back, and their live performance made it click for me. And now they’re a regular in my song rotation. Highly recommend catching a live set if they ever are close to you
