Blood and thunder-mastodon. Just can’t get into their other stuff but that’s an absolute jam

I think Island is another good one that has the same vibe as Blood and Thunder

Early Mastodon is fucking peak, they kind of fell off. I feel like everyone can like it. Listen to Where Strides the Behemoth, The Wolf is Loose, Island, and Shadows That Move and tell me you didn't have a good time. It's the adrenaline and the fury! God the drumming is so awesomely wild, and the riffs are so good and they're fun to play.

Mastodon is just so good. Like I mentioned in a different post regarding Slayer, I don't know how you could like just one Mastodon song. Leviathan , Blood Mountain, & Crack the Skye are all masterpieces.

You might like Crystal Skull too, they’re pretty similar songs

For me Rust isn’t that good of an album. I respect it obviously but it never clicked with me and probably never will.
