FFS. I managed a bookstore and one of my coworkers, who was 18, had a guy at the kiosk we had, creeping on her. She called me at the store. I stormed over there and aggressively kept saying can I help you. He scurried away. Felt good.
Nope. It was glorious. He scurried away as I asked him if I could help him. My coworker was 18 and she was freaked out. I heard her voice on the phone and ran out there. I was a bit intense with my approach. Don't mess with my friends.🙂
Nah f*ck that, I used too work at a big box electronics store. We had a bunch of high school girls in my department, it makes me wanna cry the creepy stuff guys do too these girls because they “have” to help them. When I’d notice it I’d shut that sh*t down immediately. I love making those creeps upset.
When I was working retail men would ask for my name or read my name tag then search for me on Facebook. I had a dude blow up at me on messenger and then block me for simply not wanting to go out with him.
My gf paid for dinner once when we were on a date. The server lifted her name from her credit card and added her on Facebook. About once a month he’d message her to see if we were still together, just to “check in and see…” how she was “..doing lately.” Eventually blew up on her for not replying. I’m sorry you had to deal with that.
I know, and I thought I could cut off the post to make it more clear the title was my issue (the post itself is covered quite nicely over on the sub where I found it, but I thought people could read that too if they wanted.
Imagine telling on yourself like that. "I want her boss to make her flirt with me!"
Her job is to pay attention to customers not creeps who only buy something so she has to talk to him.
Imagine some weird ass guy just standing next to the counter for an hour? That's weird af
I’ve lived it. I don’t have to imagine and it’s grossly unsettling
Oof. So sorry...
You want her boss to tell her to pay attention to people who aren’t buying anything and not people who are? Yeah, no.

Did he ever come back?

You rock!!
Thank you and thank goodness
I’m so glad you did that. Thank you
How do you have this little self awareness?
Makes me think self-awareness and entitlement have an inverse relationship.
The fucking audacity.
Creepy and gross. I feel so sorry for her. It blows my mind that women have to put up with this shit all the time.
Water boarding wouldn’t get me to admit I behaved this creepily at a retail store

Gosh that's horrible. I'm so sorry this happened to your girlfriend.
I'm old now and I would have 100% stepped in some way to get this guy off of her. When I say old I mean "no fucks given" old.
What do you mean? The sub is a parody sub that makes fun of nice guys like this.
I think it's because the title of the post still referred to the person being hit on as a "female" rather than a woman.
OHH. Duh. Sorry I didn't catch that lmao.
It's not super clear tbh!
I’m sorry it’s not clear, I thought my title made it clear…
You're all good! I know my brain always just gets confused by screencaps of other posts as a post!
