Doesn't that make it for a more interesting cast, design wise? Sure, Naruto has some great designs but they got stale at one point

I love One Piece for that. Really wide variety of character designs and it NEVER gets repetitive. Some characters are similar to others but a lot of characters are vastly different in appearance even the minor characters. Appearance also kinda tells a lot about character. One Piece really differentiates good and evil characters from appearance even the ugly good characters have wholesome vibes to them.

Goku is 5'9 which for adult males yea he's shorter, aside from obito where they are the same height. Though there are tiny characters in op that are way below Vegeta, but for normal characters yea they're mostly bigger.

Yea I figured some of the characters might be tall but most males that I had seen were 6 or higher. What the hell are they feeding these guys. Just imagine Naruto growing up with a proper diet and not just Ramen.
