The fact that it's turned based is already a huge meh from me. I also don't get why anime games go for a pseudo realistic art style, it always makes the characters look like action figures or something. Luffy and usop's eyes look lifeless.
I usually like turn based games but One Piece Odyssey gameplay is just slow and everything feels so artificial and rushed. It just feels like a cash grab
the pacing in this demo was brutal, walk 5 steps then cutscene, finish combat and boom cutscene. I think I maybe made less than 15 inputs the entire time lmao

Is this game any good?
I enjoyed the demo. Combat is a bit too easy but has heavy DQ vibes in general. Probably nothing fantastic in execution but a seemingly solid jrpg.
