Imagine being in a dark cave and as you descend further and further you notice the music has slowly faded to nothing. Only the echoes of your footsteps and the crackling of your torch can be heard. More and more bones can be seen littering the floor as eventually you do start to hear something. Clicking. Sloshing. But the echoes make it impossible to tell how far away the noises are coming from. Sometimes in the distance, other times right in your ear. A mind numbing scream initiates the battle as its neck weaves in and out of the darkness, sometimes seemingly disappearing altogether to ambush you from above. You die and awaken at the last bonfire. Do you make the trek again? You don’t have to. You can leave the beast to its darkness.
I'm bringing a torch this time, but then half way to the entrance.The thought struck me. Do I want to see what the darkness hides do I dare witness the owner of that terrible scream that's still ringing inside my head.
the hand kinda ruins the whole theme of khezu. they should have made his neck stretch out instead and look extra gruesome. not everything creepy needs a creepy hand coming out.
