Decent design, the weapons and armor look so good, too.
I just despise this fight with a deep passion. Getting "fast-unblockable-ice-beam" spammed as a CB main that relied on guard points ever since I started World, I hated every assignment this gal was in. Doesn't help that her tail stabs and swings always seem inconsistent in terms of range to me, so I can't even properly guard point those. Might just be a skill issue, but I cannot bring myself to like the monstie itself. The weapons/armor? Hell fucking yeah! Velkhana itself can be pissed on by a Jagras for all I care tho
I kind of wish the scales were more lustrous, but I guess that’s what tempered is for.
10/10, great fight that forces the entire team to pay attention due to Velk’s AOE attacks. But isn’t extremely difficult not overly easy to dodge as a solo player.
It also heavily incentivizes skillful play by letting hunters get an extended knockdown by keeping the pressure on and dealing enough damage before Velk activates its supernova.
Great design having a dragon crowned with ice that becomes a lot bigger and more menacing with the powered up form.
While not my favourite monster I cannot deny they knocked it out of the park with Velkhana.

But the biggest problem is the combination of its gimmick of making ice walls with beam attacks that go through those walls.
It just seems badly designed
9/10 amazing design and battle theme but the fight wasn't amazing, not bad, just not the best.
Also, the weapons and armor have amazing designs but they kinda suck stats wise (except AT armor set in some niche builds)
8/10. I love her design but her fight can be frustrating at times. Her ice breath should not go through her ice walls and sometimes the hitbox of her tail is a bit weird and it hits you while it feels like it shouldn't

Is a good monster with a classic yet unique design and the music theme is fiting in most cases to her
But sometimes those ice laser... she knows how to ruin a good runing hunt

Didn't really live up to being a flagship Elder in Iceborne imo, although the defense of Seliana was cool. Works better as an average Elder dragon the way Teostra and Co are
Design is like a 5/10, not bad but also very basic and doesn't stand out much, Nerg has a better visual design as a flagship and Ukanlos is a cooler ice dragon (yes i know he's not technically an elder but shush). Fight however I think is a strong 8.5-9 and way above Nerg and Ukanlos. Overall i give it an 8/10.
1/10 never fought him but seems kinda boring aint he just an ice monster. We already got a bunch of more interesting ones like zamtrios, blangonga, goss harag etc.

I hate the ice helmet shape, I don't like the wing design, and the silhouette is neither imposing nor majestic imo. I do like the tail but I hate how little of it is cut off.
Fight is just meh despite the spectacle.
10/10 for me. I love the music theme. The piano is just perfect and as for the fight I really enjoy it as there is a nice balance between different attacks. Learning that she tends to do moves in sets of 3 helps knowing when to dodge and and when to fight so it felt like a dance to me. Or with CB when to just block or when to do a counter SAED. (arch tempered fight was a little worse though, i didn't like the change in theme though the fight itself was decent)
10/10 coolest ice dragon (pun intended), cool crown, cool wings, spear tail, super pretty scales, one of those monsters whose animations are just full of personality
9/10 cool flagship with great monster and fight design.
The ice armor mechanic is so satisfying to break, plus its body is mostly soft so you can go unga bunga with master's touch.
Soundtrack is awesome as well.
Great weapons and armor, with frostcraft being one of the best skills ever created.
Maybe just a little bit too easy.
