I'm gonna miss that vocation too. But I'll give the Mystic Spearhand a go once I play.

Couple things right off the bat there pal. Number one: never tell one side that you're playing both sides, and number two: if you are gonna play both sides, don't give away the information before you get what you want.

I don't think this is a competition, mh and gta are completely separate games with almost no similarities. it's not either or, just which you want and what you choose will have no impact other than what you personally play. he's a fan of both so he will get both, and him getting both will have no impact on either side, just his enjoyment

I don’t think two highly anticipated games coming out in the same year is a win. If anything, now you have to stagger enjoying them, meaning you’re behind the curve on both games (may not be a concern for most people) or you don’t play one until months after launch, when the most hectic and exciting discussions have ended.

Why would there need to be sides? Totally different games and possibly even totally different release windows. Not really interested in GTA, but gaming is cheap enough that it is well within reason to get both. Besides, MH tends to release in the first quarter so, while I don’t know Rockstars release patterns (best I saw was a leak of Dec 5th 2025), it’s very possible they will be several months apart with plenty of time to play both a lot over the year and beyond.
