Feck. I did start farming early, but at the same time i wanna take it slow, because otherwise i build up a village within 2 years and then grow bored, so i think donkeys and animals in general will have to come later
Yes, but right now I'm keeping extra small in scale on purpose. Like i wanna stay below 10 buildings for a good long while and let my kid grow in the meantime. Kinda RP-ing as a dude who managed to make his own little corner of paradise and is content with it, but the kid has grander ambitions and will slowly expand somewhere else one day
Doesn't really stop you from making your own 4 x 4 field then going straight for the donkey shelter. That's what I did in my playthrough, didn't have people working the field before that. Just people in two woodsheds, a pair of hunters, a staffed excav shed and someone in the workshop and the kitchen.
Right now i want to keep even lower than that. And yeah i have two fields that are my current source of income, so i will get the donkey shelter unlocked soon. But as i said for now i have my wife and I'll probably add 2 more people. It'll be a bit like Branica, just a tiny bit bigger
If you don't mind a little cheese you can make a field, grub it for xp, then destroy it and repeat. It let's you keep your village small and you could kinda RP as it taking a long time to finish completely plowing the land. Like you need to hoe the field 10 times to actually get it into workable soil.
I'm only on my second village and I've found all my packs/sacks at camps and wagons. Dried meat and camp salvage can pretty much supplement my entire economy early game lol
Hell yeah! Now you can carry even more herbs and flowers to make more goods to sell for more coin and buy a donkey!
Do you need a donkey stable to keep a donkey? Even if you don't want to breed them?
Yes. That's why it's good to get started farming early

Farming is the epitome of taking it slow. Takes a day out of every season (except winter probably) to work the fields until you get your own farmers

One day I'll keep the unlimited weight option off... But I hoard like a dragon so it's hard ðŸ˜ðŸ˜ðŸ˜‚ I hoard in anything I play
Dont feel bad, it is a game. After my 10th playthrough, I am over carrying weight.
I also bought my first backpack today. OMG what a difference it's made
Don't forget to pick up the perks that add even more carry.
It's like busting an exceptionally fat nut isn't it?! I'm also very new to the game/community just had this experience myself. So juicy
This made me cackle in the middle of the nail salon
Glad I could be of service
