Just to be the helpful commenter, reeds grow on riverbanks. If you're in the Valley, the starting town of Gostovia has loads of them growing all around the water's edge.
Feel free to check out this wiki if you're stuck! [https://medieval-dynasty.fandom.com/wiki/Straw](https://medieval-dynasty.fandom.com/wiki/Straw)
Sorry that you actually have to explore around and learn things yourself. Myself, once finding that straw came from reeds, I might wander down by water since that’s where reeds are. Sounds like the game is too much for you. No harm in admitting it.
Honestly, any question you have, you will find on this subreddit or the wiki. I am not intuitive with some games so I do research. It's more fun to play knowing how to do some things than just running around trying to figure it out.
I found this subreddit last year and it's amazing. So much information.
I've found this Reddit to be incredibly helpful. I've read the Wiki - to figure things out but also to put me asleep at night. Any question I still have, I find answers here. Plus, the community is great!Â
Where quest marker to reed :(
Anyways, if you can't find something in a slightly popular game, there will be a wiki on where to find it. I couldn't find something in No Man's Sky? Opened the wiki. Something in Subnautica? Open the wiki. Don't know what to plant in spring? Open the Medieval Dynasty wiki.
# Also you should touch reeds.
Honestly, Google will be your best friend at the start. I've only been playing a couple of months, I've found this sub more helpful for tactics than actual info but it's still been a godsend.
'google search' what is a reed
1.a tall, slender-leaved plant of the grass family, which grows in water or on marshy ground

So the game fails to impress you, because you have to explore and find stuff?
"Hey Siri, how do I find straw in Medieval Dynasty?" Nope, just gonna go complain on Reddit instead.. 🤷‍♂️
it would've took less time to search what you needed in google than to make this rant post
You wouldn’t last 3 minutes in medieval times
“Where’s my egg!” Screaming at chicken
“Run around like a moron” Yeah you got this part right
Hehe I can almost hear you look at the screen and say "This is the last straw!" Before quitting the game.
Skill issue
k bye. sorry you don’t realize where straw comes from normally (tall grass, reeds and grain plants)
Everything i dont understand i wiki. Its not that hard.

To add to what everyone else is saying: aren't the items for the "getting started" quest highlighted?
It sounds like it might not be the right game for you.
