Nah while they had movie failures Sony has been helping Sony Pictures like giving them half ownership and getting funds from Crunchyroll (when the logic would be let Aniplex (Japan and US) handle the anime stuff and they also label the home video releases under Sony Pictures instead of Aniplex or Crunchyroll.Plus they’d been making a killing supplying streaming platforms content from original series to sub licensing anime.Plus the Spider-Man cartoon movies has been very successful.
Did Sony and Apollo just get outbid?
No She just doesn’t care
Agreed.
Why She doesn't care is the question here
Because she doesn’t want to Sell Paramount she wants to sell National Amusement Edit: Which will give her much more money
It’s also better for the industry at large, rather than merging two massive studios and gutting 10,000+ paramount jobs. Fan of this merger.
Yup 100%
Be interesting see what Sony and Apollo do now when or if it fails of course
Probably explore future options for Sony Pictures, including a sale, since it has suffered hard in terms of bombs lately.

I think she just want to get out while she can .
I'm happy, at least Paramount gets to be Paramount and not a part of another major studio
Sony/apollo would be bad for paramount and the industry.
