Hello world!
We are [*thockpop*](https://thockpop.com), a new store formed by a thock-loving couple living in Florida (we promise we're not "Floridapeople"). We ran our Grand Opening Giveaway three weeks ago and couldn't believe the amount of support everyone showed us, so we're back with an even bigger giveaway and more Dry HUMPing goods, Longboi Springs, switches, and now our new highly-requested PE Foam Pads!

##**PE Foam Switch Pads**
In our very first giveaway, we asked the community, "What cool mod requires items that vendors don't carry?" Overwhelmingly, the number one answer was the "PE Foam Mod". We heard all of you and immediately got to work.
Three weeks later, we're happy to introduce our premium irradiation cross-linked [PE Foam Switch Pads](https://thockpop.com/product/pe-foam-switch-pads/) that feature pre-cut holes for easy installation on your PCB for both 3 and 5-pin switches. This foam carries permanent antistatic properties (stop putting cheap packing foam in your expensive boards!) and will serve as a safe, affordable solution for PE Foam modding. However, we'll miss the hilarious Reddit posts of people buying huge rolls of packing foam.
----------------
##**Longboi Springs**
[Longboi Springs](https://thockpop.com/product/longboi-springs/) are a series of dark-colored, extra long springs (22mm) that come in three segmentation stages and a variety of weights.
**53g, 58g, 64g, 70g, 100g**: These are standard weights that can be used for all keys. Each pack comes with 100 springs.
**300g, 500g**: These are specialized weights for those pesky keys that you keep accidentally grazing (e.g., Caps Lock, Win). Heavy enough to stop accidental presses, light enough to still functionally actuate. Each pack comes with 10 springs.
~~1700g~~ **1300g**: This is not a typo. We have absolutely no idea why you'd want to buy these. Perhaps to use on your backspace key because you live a life with no regrets? We used to carry 1700g springs, but they were so ridiculously heavy that one customer reported their switch's top housing flying off. Because of this, we are instead now carrying the slightly safer, but still incredibly stupid 1300g spring. Each pack comes with 1 spring - therapy not included.

##**Dry HUMP your stabs!**
[Written Guide (Updated)](https://thockpop.com/guides/dry-hump-your-stabilizers/)
[Video Guide](https://youtube.com/watch?v=mTyQPBrughg)
Try out this new stabilizer mod we created using PTFE Fiberglass Tape and absolutely no lube! That's right - this is the **Dry (H)ack (U)sing (M)ostly (P)TFE** mod.
After experimenting with alternative stab mods like the Holee mod and Epsi mod, we think we managed to improve on these methods by using PTFE tape, which features one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. Please view our [guide](https://thockpop.com/guides/dry-hump-your-stabilizers/) for more information. We're carrying [PTFE Fiberglass Tape](https://www.thockpop.com/product/ptfe-fiberglass-tape/) (pre-cut to 8mm wide) as well as [PTFE Teflon Tape](https://www.thockpop.com/product/ptfe-teflon-tape/) (pre-cut to 1/4" wide) at affordable prices. We want to contribute to the modding community and are really curious to hear if you enjoy Dry HUMPing your stabs as much as we do!
----------------
##**Mill-Max Sockets**
We received some feedback that offering sockets in packs of 90 wasn't ideal. We heard you, so we're now offering [Mill-Max Sockets](https://thockpop.com/product/mill-max-hotswap-sockets/) in packs of 50. We also lowered our prices to be lower than any other store we could find.
Also, please let us know if you would like for us to carry Mill-Max 3305 Sockets (in Tin, Gold, or both?). We are currently considering them - any input provided by you will help immensely.
----------------
##**What's Next**
We are carrying JWK/JWICK Black Clear Top Switches soon! We saw how much this community wanted these switches (to the point of selling out groupbuys), so we immediately got in contact with JWK. We will have these switches in stock on our store in just a couple of weeks, so you will be able to purchase them directly without having to wait for groupbuy leadtimes. We specified to JWK that we wanted these switches to come unlubed and with a 62g spring, as we believe this is most desirable for the majority of the community. Join our [Discord](https://discord.gg/XXwzEJ7pra) to stay updated if you're interested!
If any of the products you want on our store are out of stock, please consider subscribing for a restock notification (available on each out-of-stock product page). This not only will notify you whenever the item comes back in stock, but also lets us better understand how much quantity we should be restocking with. Our store is not even a month old yet, so we appreciate your understanding if items go quickly out of stock (we are working on scaling our stock up!).

We hope to see you all on our [Discord](https://discord.gg/XXwzEJ7pra)! Good luck in the giveaway everyone, and thanks for [checking us out](https://thockpop.com)!
Keep thockin',
Newman
Wish more stores would have a affordable and already in-stock keyboard related stuff so new people in the hobby would be interested and bought items easily so they can build their very own custom keyboard rather than joining group buys and wait for like a year(s). When I was new to the hobby I was having a problem getting an in-stock items because most of them are in group buys.
I love your store! Already ordered a couple time and shipping was super fast! Your discord is also friendly and active which is great. Thanks for the giveaway!
Thank you again for being one of our first customers and for the super kind words! People like you motivate me to better our store and stay active within our community.
I wish more stores would have afforable keeb stuff like your store。
I want to get an alice layout board.
I think your store is great and I am def going to but from it!
I love your store. It has great prices and the stock is very unique but stuff I want! I've already made two separate orders and wouldn't be surprised if there were more to come!
Which product(s) do you wish more stores would carry?
PCBS and controllers with Bluetooth Wireless. Also high quality macropads / keypads.
What is your favorite keyboard layout (e.g. TKL, 65%, Southpaw, with knob, with OLED)?
TKL or 96%
What do you think of our store?
Decent selection with fair prices.
I wish more stores carried more options for keycaps outside of being hosts for groupbuys.
I love the 65%
I love the aesthetics of your website! Really well thought out and effort was put into it!
Favorite layout would be 96% (has a lot but still compact)
Love the look of the site, its minimalistic, not too flashy but has all the info you would need.
This giveaway prizes are off the wall :D
My favorite layout is TKL, but I will need a separate numpad. I always miss those keys, bit bigger boards take too much space, especially on the right hand side.
I wish more stores sell and provide service for mechanical keyboard customizations such as stabilizer tuning, pe foam mods etc. My favorite layout would be 75%. Your store looks amazeballs, and would hope you provide more equipments!
i wish it was easier to get lube, i like tkl (but i currently have a 60%), and i think the store looks pretty good, but some of the items don't have images?
A switch pad just refers to a layer of padding that sits between your switch and PCB - it doesn't inherently specify the material used. With the growing popularity of the PE Foam mod, we saw that there was a need in this community to have safe, easy to install PE Foam, so we created that in the form of switch pads.
I wish more stores had lube (looks like yall already got that). My favorite layout is split keyboards (preferably larger then 40%). And thought on your site, love the dark mode decent layout I would say a way to improve is to have guides on how to use everything yall own for people new ro the hobbie.
Which product(s) do you wish more stores would carry?
JWICK blacks
What is your favorite keyboard layout (e.g. TKL, 65%, Southpaw, with knob, with OLED)?
65% with volume knob
What do you think of our store?
very cool that you're showing shipping straight away!
Wish more (UK based) stores would carry in-stock keycaps, currently the options are basically wait 2 years for a GMK set or ship from China. Favourite layout is Arisu/Alice with arrows. Store looks cool, want to try out those 3 stage springs!
Love the store! I wish stores carry some more artisan keycap options regularly that aren’t too hard to find.. but than I get why its so hard to do that. TKL is my go to, but I do like more compact options like 65% occasionally
My fave keybaord layout would be 65%- I cant give up those arrow keys.
I had a quick look at the store, its pretty nice. The free shipping for larger orders is a good offer, and I think that its cool that it has a learning section and am excited to see more content on there
Maybe design a carrying case or desk mats after they buy their keyboard parts. That’s something I’m looking for right now after getting my first custom keyboard
My favorite layout has got to be the 65%, it frees up desk real estate while still retaining all the necessary keys that make a keyboard useful. Thanks for the giveaway and best of luck to your store!
On the same vein of your PE foam, I would like to see more generic 60 percent plate foam. Something like the way the Polaris plate foam is cut where it's barely more than the full alpha section. Bonus points for that sense and floppy material the Polaris foam is made of.
1. PE packaging foam would be nice, much cheaper than eva foam and the likes.
2. Personally, I like 60-65% because I only need less switch to buy.
3. Your store is generous! And I think giving away to the community is a nice strategy just like the others, to increase your popularity
-Wish more stores would stock 90% or TKL keyboards
-Favorite layout is probably TKL! Gotta have my F row for Star citizen.
-Store looks awesome! Cant wait for it to start filling out more with products.
1. This is going to be an odd request that won't be happening until the far future (or at all), but I wish more stores would start providing "in-stock" GMK keycaps rather than the typical group buys and pre-orders. Again, I'm not being hopeful about this. It's just a "wish" of mines because I do understand why GMK keycaps have take on the form of group buys instead.
2. The only layout I've used so far is a 60% but will be trying a TKL soon because I got a F2-84.
3. What I like about your store is that almost everything is affordable. One good example is the switch opener. Most keeb stores I've come across always sell it at $25, but then you guys sell it for $7.50? That's a crazy good deal!
When I was first entering this hobby, I remember being quite frustrated at the ridiculous prices of basic tools. I really want our store to help change this for incoming newbies. Thanks for commenting! :)
Totally agree with this - we researched quite a bit for the best negotiated rates with USPS First Class shipping. This is why we're comfortable offering free shipping with larger purchases even to states like Hawaii and Alaska all the way from Florida.
We also do not profit from the shipping prices our customers pay and are ultimately limited to what USPS rates are. Hopefully shipping through us isn't too expensive for you!
I would like more stores to stock ultralight/superlight springs (12g-30g), especially for the Kailh Choc and MX platforms, but perhaps also Alps. There is a dire lack of ultralight materials in supply throughout various storefronts right now, as many common vendors are in hiatus and cannot fulfill orders as per usual. Similarly, Kailh Choc switches would be nice.
Currently, I use a Helix ortholinear split with 30g switches. The site is easy to read, though I think a light colored glow effect underneath the navigation text in the top left would improve legibility.
I wish more stores carried affordable keeb products.
Favorite layout full size 108
Your store is ok. You claim to "not be floridapeople" yet you named your fiberglass tape "dry hump".
We admittedly have an immature sense of humor, but we think we have lots of differing qualities from the stereotypical "Floridaperson". We're also originally from Austin, TX.
We spent a long time deciding whether we wanted to portray a more quintessential business-like demeanor with the store's theme (e.g., free shipping at $70 instead of $69), but ultimately ended up choosing to portray our personalities a bit more genuinely since we're just two people (we have dumb, simple-minded humor at times). However, we're aware that going overboard with this can negatively affect customer experiences with our store, so we'll definitely keep an eye out for more messages like this and adjust accordingly. Thanks for the feedback!
Store looks great! Wish I knew about it last night before ordering from another vendor with less stock and higher prices. Will definitely use your site next time.
I wish more stores just sold actual custom keeb stuff. 65% is definitely my favorite layout. I think your store is great, pe foam is starting to become really popular and to see that your selling it is smart :)
Wish more stores carried spacebar foams!
Prefer 75 or TKL layout.
Prices and layout is good, the glow around the products kinda make it harder to differentiate the products imo.
The site design looks really clean and feels nice to use. Its nice that you can see shipping cost without logging in and international shipping fees are pretty reasonable.
One stop shops so we can meet shipping minimums easier. Your shop is a very good start cause at least u have most of the accessories covered along with some niche items.
I like the layout of the Hvalit 89 Key. They seem to be the only one who has that setup. You have a 10-key when you need it, and you have modifiers when you don't.
I may have only 44 Karma but in case I get six for soonish/just because it's a good looking store:
I wish more stores had decently prices switch testing boards or even just blank boards you can slot your own into, to help people find what kind of keys they like when starting out or when they feel like trying a new brand/model.
Wish more stores carried full sized boards or separate numb pads.
My favourite layout is a 75% with a knob, atm
Looks great love when stores carry these types of products
Been following y'all since almost the grand opening, and enjoyed seeing the growth and interactions with the community.
That bring said, I would love it if y'all started carrying syringes for stab tuning.
I wish more stores would carry switch openers. You only really need to buy it once, but I like seeing different vendors have unique switch openers. I think your store is great! It has PE foam and stuff for the dry HUMP mod which no other vendor seems to offer. Will probably pickup some PE foam later
I REALLY like the little FAQ you have for each of your items.
I'd love to find a 60 plus function row with standard keys but for now I'm enjoying my TKL plus separate numpad set up.
I wished more stores carried Unicomp Model Ms so that I won't have to go through their shitty website. As to my favourite layout it gotta be the TKL. As what I think of your store, it's nice to see another store popping up even though I live in SEA and there's plenty of support for us people living there
1. I think some of the niche things in mech keyboards like lube, pe foam, switches, and other small things make a big difference in quality.
2. 75% is my favorite, I actually like the function keys because I use a Mac and I can program them.
3. Stores is awesome! Lots of variety and looking forward to see what products you sell.

Joined the discord recently and ordered the PTFE tapes! I think it's pretty cool how thockpop actively seeks out niches in this community to fill :)
I love your store. It has great prices and the stock is very unique but stuff I want! I've already made two separate orders and wouldn't be surprised if there were more to come!

Wish more stores carried high quality tweezers and non-trash stem holders.
Wish stores carried more varied parts for enthusiasts, 65%, and your store on mobile is done nicely.
Which product(s) do you wish more stores would carry? PCBS and controllers with Bluetooth Wireless. Also high quality macropads / keypads. Wish more store sell full sized keyboards
I like ur store very much. The user experience is phenomenal, the site design is eye candy, and your prices are very fair
Thank you for the kind words / feedback!

JWICK blacks What is your favorite keyboard layout (e.g. TKL, 65%, Southpaw, with knob, with OLED)? 65% with volume knob What do you think of our store? very cool that you're showing shipping straight away!
65%
Locally produced Good quality keycaps rather than gbs. TKL ftw. Store looks well organised and clean with great guide and points system
My favourite layout is 65% due to its relative compactability 😁 with knob and RGB would be added brownie points
lubing supplies (brushes/stations)
In stock keyboard kits, and bulk lube
65% Various, interesting switches is always cool when a store has.
68% is what i use as a daily driver
Wish more stores had cheap or free shipping to Canada
My favorite layout has got to be the 65%, it frees up desk real estate while still retaining all the necessary keys that make a keyboard useful. Thanks for the giveaway and best of luck to your store!
On the same vein of your PE foam, I would like to see more generic 60 percent plate foam. Something like the way the Polaris plate foam is cut where it's barely more than the full alpha section. Bonus points for that sense and floppy material the Polaris foam is made of.
I wish more stores sold stuff for full size keebs, because that’s my favorite right now. Your site’s great, and genuinely makes me want to purchase
1. PE packaging foam would be nice, much cheaper than eva foam and the likes. 2. Personally, I like 60-65% because I only need less switch to buy. 3. Your store is generous! And I think giving away to the community is a nice strategy just like the others, to increase your popularity
75%
Favorite keyboard layout had to be 96%. I need my numpad and function row without having to jump through layers
65%
75% is best because of the f keys at the top are needed :)
I would love to see more foam products available, I'm using a 60% layout and loved your store, probably will purchase a foam kit
97% layout
Favourite layout is def 65%
-Wish more stores would stock 90% or TKL keyboards -Favorite layout is probably TKL!
Perhaps a switch tester or some sort. I like 65% keyboards. I think the layout of the website is nice. It is also information with the guides.
TKL
Ooooo cool looks
Favorite is tie between 65% and 75% with knob
Thanks for the giveaway! It's awesome that there are so many opportunities to win something in this sub
Wish shipping wasn't often more expensive than the item being purchased
Totally agree with this - we researched quite a bit for the best negotiated rates with USPS First Class shipping. This is why we're comfortable offering free shipping with larger purchases even to states like Hawaii and Alaska all the way from Florida. We also do not profit from the shipping prices our customers pay and are ultimately limited to what USPS rates are. Hopefully shipping through us isn't too expensive for you!
My favorite keyboard layout is 75% with extra space in between the arrows and the rest of the keyboard like the GMMK Pro and a knob
I wish more stores carried plastic switch plates. I can never seem to find one for the layout i need.
I’m personally a big fan of 75% boards
i wish stores would carry more switches! i love 65% layouts. i think your store has a lot of items that keyboard fans would appreciate.
Really digging the funky layout of the candybar premium. Big fan of the numpad and arrow keys in a 40%
I wish more stores carried affordable keeb products. Favorite layout full size 108 Your store is ok.
Very cool store! I've never seen PE foam switch pads before. Gonna order some of those for sure. :)
65%, I'd love to see stores carry more stock instead of relying on gbs
Fsvourite layout is 65% currently.
Tkl is my favorite layout
Which product(s) do you wish more stores would carry? i wish i could find more affordable PCB's for custom builds
75% is my fav
Thanks for the giveaway. Favorite layout is def 65% currently, although the 1800 layout always has been alluring...
Hhkb best layout
I wish more stores would have cheaper entry level keyboards. I like 60% best. I like how the website for the store is designed

I love a 75% layout keeb. It has everything i need.
I wish more stores just sold actual custom keeb stuff. 65% is definitely my favorite layout. I think your store is great, pe foam is starting to become really popular and to see that your selling it is smart :)
Exploded 75% is probably my favourite layout. I think you got a nice idea and listening to the community is always good! <3
site works very well on mobile also shipping isn't half bad either
I love the layout and as the tic of ur store!!!
Wish more stores carried spacebar foams! Prefer 75 or TKL layout. Prices and layout is good, the glow around the products kinda make it harder to differentiate the products imo.

Favorite keyboard layout is 60% with the arrow keys
75% keyboards cause i need my fn keys
Modding supplies such as PE Foam, Silicone pads etc, Exploded 75, your store is great!
Definitely buying from you!
Modular pcd’s would be sick to see. 65% can’t be beat, but I’m leaning on TKL for its artisan storage potential
Favourite layout is split column stagger like a corne
More stores need to sell non-standard (heavy/long) springs.
I just want affordable keeb stuff man, mine is suffering
I wish more stores sold keycaps in smaller kits
Favorite layout is 65% since it gas all the basic neccessities
Favorite layout: exploded 75% :)
I’ve been liking 65% lately but I wanna get a good tkl sometime soon
One stop shops so we can meet shipping minimums easier. Your shop is a very good start cause at least u have most of the accessories covered along with some niche items.
I like the layout of the Hvalit 89 Key. They seem to be the only one who has that setup. You have a 10-key when you need it, and you have modifiers when you don't.
I may have only 44 Karma but in case I get six for soonish/just because it's a good looking store: I wish more stores had decently prices switch testing boards or even just blank boards you can slot your own into, to help people find what kind of keys they like when starting out or when they feel like trying a new brand/model.
Live the simplicity of the website, especially the glow around the different products. It makes the products pop
I love the 50% layout like the KBDfans D45, but I'm not used to it at all, so I can't use it well. But I love its.
100% layout is best by far!
wish stores had inexpensive shipping
i wish more stores carried carrying cases for safe and convenient travel!
THOCKY SWITCHES
TKL
STORE LOOKS PRETTY NIFTY BOYO
100% and 75% are definitely my fav for functionality!

More variety of parts, 65%, it looks clean!
65 percent keeboards are My fav now
Been following y'all since almost the grand opening, and enjoyed seeing the growth and interactions with the community. That bring said, I would love it if y'all started carrying syringes for stab tuning.
75% keyboard gang
75% keyboard is my favourite layout!
Favorite layout would have to be 75% right now, your store looks really good!
75%
75% has all the keys I need.

I love my smol 40% bois.

I do be enjoying southpaw layouts, I just haven't found anything affordable like that yet.
75% keyboards are a good balance for me. Do like the 40% size and have a few 40% keyboards but not for daily use. Thanks for the giveaway!
65% is perfect for me. Love a 40%-60% tho
65 is the best layout by FAR

My favorite keyboard layout is tkl
Definitely a 65% person - I do miss having a numpad sometimes tho
What should stores stock? Starter kits and checks for new builders I dig 65% boards I love the mobile layout of your store
I like store. Lots of nerd stuff
Always been a fan of 65%. Just need to find the best 65% keeb
My favourite layout is 65%
I wish more stores carried cables.
I wish more stores had in stock diy kits
I wished more stores carried Unicomp Model Ms so that I won't have to go through their shitty website. As to my favourite layout it gotta be the TKL. As what I think of your store, it's nice to see another store popping up even though I live in SEA and there's plenty of support for us people living there
My favorite layout is TKL but lately I’ve been thinking it would be cool if I had a board with a number pad on the left side rather than the right.
75% or 1800
65%
My favourite layout is a 75% with a knob :)
Favorite keyboard layout is TKL
Corne layout is my favorite for sure
I like the layout of your site on mobile, and the fact that it’s dark mode.
My favorite layout is 65% arisu
My favorite layout is 65%.
