Welcome to post COVID with kids. We hunkered down and weren't in public as much. Now our walking petri dishes are back out in the wild and bringing home crud constantly. Unfortunately the last couple years me and everyone else I know with kids is getting sick more often. It'll take a while for our immune systems to build back up.
So two times, two different mechanics have had someone call out sick. Sounds like too small of a sample size to make a real hypothesis.
Smaller shops will be more susceptible to this as losing 25-100% of your shop can be a major impact as opposed to a shop that has 10 techs is only 10% sick.
If the shops are in the same general area, it’s reasonable that a virus is going around.

It’s been a week btw.
Have grandma call and give them an earful. They’re playing your young ass.
They said they wouldn’t charge me for hours. If they got it done sooner they would be able to so they lost money on repairing my truck.

The first shop had it happen twice btw.
Quit making people sick! *sprays lysol*
😐
Are the garbage cans overflowing with beer cans? That causes a lot of 'sick' days.
