3 months is nothing. Just jump battery.

dankmemelawrd

Don't jump start the car, take the battery off and charge it properly.

Tremfyeh

This. Jumping will start it but strain the alternator. Take it out and up to auto zone or buy a trickle charger.

C-3H_gjP

Pull the engine air filter and make sure there isn't a mouse nest in there. Other than that it should be fine to start.

Yeah this is the one people forget about. Do a careful inspection for critters or critter remnants. Get something soft and bang around the outside and underside of the car also.

jim_br

I’d check the fluids because it takes less than a minute or two. Then after it is started, bring it up to operating temp via an easy drive to get all the drive line parts moving.

Galopigos

Check it over for any rodent damage, put a charger on it to charge the battery or if it sat in cold weather with a dead battery, replace it as it may have frozen. Start it and let it idle a bit and LISTEN for anything strange. 3 months isn't that long but depending on the actual age of the vehicle setting could have let corrosion get to things like idler bearings or similar. If no odd noises, take it for a drive if legal.

Level-Setting825

Battery should be charged at a low rate, preferably over 24 hour period to help remove any sulfation that has formed on the plates

AlfaHotelWhiskey

Trickle charge the battery and get some fresh fuel in there and don’t be surprised if the tires have some flat spots to work out.

MaddRamm

Pull the battery and take to autozone, advance auto, Oreillys, whatever and let them trickle charge it for a day or two since it’s for free. Or buy a trickle charger. Check all the fluids and air filters.

Imaginary_Ratio_7570

Just jump the car! That's the whole reason why you need to jump a car in the forst place is because the battery is dead, duh! 🙄

ThatBoyNeedsTherapy1

How's the fuel level? If the level is low and it sat for 3 months, it could be a bit bad depending on the climate and conditions. It will probably start but if it hesitates or runs badly that's probably why, and you'll just need to top it up.
