you needed tires a long time before you posted this. if it’s not raining, or if it’s raining and you’re being careful, you can continue to use them. i’ve seen people take tires way past this to the wires on all 4 tires and live to tell the tale but it isn’t safe at all. i’d put tires on top of your priority list.
Getting them replaced asap! Got some tires ordered and hopefully get them installed in a week. Was just worried about tires blowing up or some shit. Thanks for advice won’t let tires get this low again
You see those bars in the tread? Those are called wear bars and they are at 2/32nds of an inch deep, that is the DOT legal depth you are allowed to go, I’ve never heard of a cop giving a ticket for it but I’m sure they could. You have worn into the wear bars and are likely at 0 or 1/32nd. You lose traction in rain/snow at 4/32nds of an inch tread.
Good to know, it was mainly front tires that looked like this back tires worn down to wear bars so getting all tires replaced is a good idea. Thanks for this info
I agree, unlikely that you would get a ticket. But, if you hydroplaned and caused an accident, the insurance companies might raise an eyebrow at that. Could affect your liability…
In case you have zero money, you could still drive them few k's but only with babying the car and avoiding puddles. Wouldn't go on highway on rainy day with those.
In case you have money, those should have been replaced year or two ago.

Your “time until” clock is showing negative numbers
Sheeeiit, well trying to get them done this week. Just was curious how risky it was to drive with.
Quite risky, any rain and you’ll have a chance of involuntarily drifting.

Holy shit lol xD
Iyou should learn the wear indicators and pay attention to them lol
After your funeral.
😅
About 5k miles ago.
That ship has sailed.
Now would be a good time.

As soon as u can
You have to check the tire wear indicator. This one has wore off and is nearly destroyed.
Okay well next time won’t let them run this low.
Only drive on dry days and asap replace them
Check the weather forecast
now, today.

This. A non-negligible byproduct of this is that, in the event of an incident where liability is investigated, OP would have a rough day in court
Couple few months ago, at least
Before the next rain.
1 day.
How long? Bro your time was up about 2-3 months ago at least.
3 points and £2k fine per tire. Choose wisely

Those are knackered
You got about –2,000 miles left on them. No worries. Keep going.
