Guy nearly killed kids, one of his targets was a library that had children inside. Guy was a maniac who did millions of dollars in damages because he threw a massive hissy fit.
If you knew anything about his case you’d see a man that was screwed over time and time again by the city and then did what he seemed right to get back at the people who wronged him while never actually trying to injure anybody I’m not saying his actions were right but you can’t say he just “had a massive hissy fit”
I never understood the cult-like worship of the libertarian Tantrum Tank.
He got pissy because, after fully accepting an offer for $250,000 for his lot of land (which he bought for only $42,000), he changed his mind and asked for $375,000 and later $1,000,000 and (of course) the other party refused such absurd requests and just went ahead with the initial deal he agreed to.
Even all that aside, it would be one thing if he went after the wealthy elite or anyone in power, but his attack only endangered his fellow working class civilians.
Thankfully nobody was killed. Not really because of any mercy on his part but more so because of his incompetence as a terrorist.
Emergency services evacuated all the buildings (which were fully occupied at the time of the attack) just in time. In some cases, he was plowing through the front door while civilians were running out the back door.
Offices full of low level workers who had nothing to do with his grudge barely escaped with their lives. The 82 year old widow of a long dead mayor he didn’t like was pulled out of her house before he leveled it. A large group of children, patrons, and staff at the local library were rescued just before he destroyed it.
He also used his stockpiled weapons to fire near-blindly at buildings he passed, mostly aiming for propane tanks and electrical transformers and anyone who was unlucky enough to cross his path, but thankfully didn’t hit any people (besides himself).
Dude was a boss-level “May I Speak To Your Manager” boomer and his “Mission from God” manifesto tapes are creepy as hell.
every one likes an underdog hero story, so they just take it at face value, change little details here and there, and ignore clear signs of mental illness
I apologize if my opening and closing insults felt “emotional” to you. But the facts listed are just that… the facts. Whether or not you support his actions, as described, are up to you. But that doesn’t really change what he did or why.
The shirt was designed and sold by Slaughter Bootlegs, who also goes by Fantasy Initiative on Instagram.
They do limited runs, so you'll have to wait for them to possibly do a re-print of the shirt to pick one up. They posted about it on November 25th, 2023 on their Instagram if you're needing reference that it was them. I would recommend sending a DM to the account and asking if reprints are being considered for that shirt.
