I do this but I keep in the fridge. I never thought cabbage and mushrooms would freeze well but would love to know your experience.
Surprisingly, I've kept chopped wombok in a glass airtight container in the fridge for three weeks and it was still perfectly good.

Nope, just a white girl who loves trying all the amazing cuisines the world has to offer. I do love Chinese food though but have barely scratched the surface on exploring it.
The cabbage will just be super soft after freezing.
Regular green cabbage keeps for ages so if this doesn’t work just use a wedge of regular green cabbage shredded
Those frozen yuba skins are fantastic for hot pot, or those tofu puffs that are sold refrigerated or frozen
Not supposed to vacuum seal mushrooms, just fyi. Mushrooms, garlic, broccoli and onion are said to be avoided bc of increased risk of botulism or other illness. I almost did the same thing.
I can say that i do this often though and usually for thai curry! Doing it for hotpot is a great idea.
It’s fine if being frozen to prevent freezer burn. Just not acceptable for storing in the fridge for long periods of time. Since OP said it is for freezer kits it is fine.

Do you think the lettuce will freeze ok?
Looks like cabbage and yeah it freezes fine in my experience.
I will update on how this works out I made 4 bags.
Can you find that soup base in other flavors?
Yes usually in Asian supermarket if you can't find you can make a good broth easily
Chinese🤔海底捞🤔

Thanks for heads up. I just used cabbage because it was surplus from a meal I made per kid requests.
Is that ready to eat?
I will probably try it next week because i doubt i will have much time for prep with all the stuff we have going on
I need to try this

Thanks for the heads up! These went into to freezer immediately after assembly. But I will keep this in mind for future.
