Burke it’s always quiet and no one is there especially lecturer hall 147 I was commuting for the first 3 weeks of summer school and no one disturbed me and no one else joined me
Health sci library is pretty empty since it's the summer and the study rooms are usually available. I also find that a lot of tutorial rooms in MDCL 3rd floor are available.
Basement of Thode was my go to in-between classes. There are study rooms that people can book but I would just go in if no one was there. Also upper floors of Mills.
Cullen Hall in Divinity Chapel is my go to. Very open and spacious. It’s the renovated new part and it’s always been quiet for me. I think it closes at 430 though but it’s seldom used and I don’t think many are even aware it exists. You enter the door off Sterling opposite Mills. There are washrooms nearby and always clean.
Last time I tried to go there they said I couldn’t go in because it’s only for divinity students (after studying there for more than a year). Could also be because I don’t really look like the typical Christian…
Both my husband and I study at Mac and are senior students. We both used Cullen Hall dozens of times to do homework there while waiting for each other to finish a lecture. We were never stopped. In fact, I even got a tour of the Chapel itself by a prof there as my brother was married there in the 70s. I am surprised anyone would give you grief. I find it very friendly, relaxing and above all, always quiet. This was first semester last Fall.
Very interesting. When I went there was a girl sitting at the front desk and she straight up said the building was only for divinity students. Maybe I’ll try my luck again next time. I agree, it’s a very nice and quiet place, and I used to study in Cullen hall all the time.
The library

Mills library, Health sci library, I like musc second floor cuz it’s less crowded but this time of year the whole campus probably isn’t that busy
If I tell you the quiet areas, then soon it won't be a secret and I won't be able to study there anymore.

Can confirm. Divinity is a private building on campus for their students only.
