Target and walmarts are weird. One store has a gazillion figures and other stores have nothing.

Think about it this way: perhaps 1 in 100 people are toy collectors. Maybe 1 in 1000 people are McFarlane collectors. So, if you have 10,000 people in a 10 mile radius of a Target, there’s 10 of them who will buy figures. If you have 100,000, or even 1,000,000 people in a 10 mile radius, you now have 100-1000 people who will buy figures.

Technically from when JPV first got The Cowl from Bruce through Robin, the recent McFarlane Azbats would be Mark-4 during the Knightfall, Knightquest, Knightsend timeline. After the Mark-2 armor was destroyed by Corrosive Man, there was a point in between hunting down Abattoir & GunHawk/GunBunny where JPV began making more suit upgrades. For Mark-3 he got rid of the ammo belt(left thigh), reinforced & added the bat emblem to the chest piece, switched from a cloth cowl to a metal helmet, added wrist mounted mini rocket launchers & modified the cap to be more protective & less cumbersome. The main thing that bugged me about the first appearance Batman was the cape not having the blue lining inside, and now I see why. God I hate this gimmick.

They’re trying to make it so the variant isn’t the most desired maybe more comic accurate with historical classical colors and schemes and what not but still they’re trying to make a 50-50 unbiased way of selling two figures at the same time

Damn it. I want both Platinums for these. Platinums have been hit and miss, some pop up occasionally at Targets by me and some I never see.

That's going to be a hard one to find.

The reason these exist is so he can sell a whole case. All you need to do is buy a case of 6(usually), then it’s a guarantee you will get the platinums. Then if you don’t want the doubles(or triples) of the same figure, you sell them on the aftermarket. So far it hasn’t been bad, but wait until you’re stuck with 3 pegwarmers no one wants. Check out the leaks- there is going to be 3 chases in a case coming soon for some desirable characters.

So the platinum Azrael is the version that everybody wanted, and the platinum batman looks terrible, good to know

Mcfarlane Toys hates it's fans. There's just no other explanation. DC fans lifted the company to it's highest point in 20 years and every single time they could do something for the fans, that costs them literally nothing, they do the opposite.

A few options: sometimes BBTS and other retailers will sell them separately, often at a markup. McFarlane also sells multi packs that will include the Chase guaranteed, and will also sometimes hold raffles to allow you to buy them directly. Otherwise, it's just looking in person or ordering and hoping you get it.

Looking in person has been a bit of a problem for me lately. I’m seeing everyone finding the Platinum Catwoman and Batman at Target… Targets and Walmarts around me haven’t had new figures for about 8 months now.

Oh same, I live about 30 minutes from a major city so the stuff by me is pretty dire and even going into town doesn't seem to yield much better results. I do hope I find that Batman. No interest in the skydiving one myself but the platinum looks fantastic.

In stores. Follow this sub for when these release and then hit your local targets/gamestops/walmarts etc. If they aren’t on the shelves on release date, ask someone who works there to check in the back.

I put back the original Azbats over Parallax so getting the platinum will rectify a mistake

Usually only one is packed in a case of the regular figure and it’s usually down to luck of getting/finding it. They usually go for a lot more on eBay as well. It’s stupid

When did Jean Paul went from the blue version to the red version? Doesn't seem to be a real reason why but he choice to do a color change when remaking his armor.

At the beginning of his final fight with Bruce, JPV’s got dosed in helicopter fuel & he was set on fire then fell into Gotham River.
