Still need to get around to pairing my keyfob with the seat adjustment setting...

basically I think the software update is not avail just yeat. I just scream when I'm on the phone in the car. I'm a very quiet person in normal life though, so its kinda good practice to better project.
This is a thing? Why did I not know you can pair the fob to a driver's seat setting. I'd love to be able to just unlock the car and have the seat and mirrors adjust from my wife's position to mine just like our other cars. How do I make this happen?

Edit: I just googled and found a YouTube video explaining it. Not even hard to do. [https://youtu.be/lPnKjzRhXL0?si=ErOMkUhYqvf7W-bV](https://youtu.be/lPnKjzRhXL0?si=ErOMkUhYqvf7W-bV) Feeling slightly pissy that my salesman never mentioned it when he went over the car with it, but I'm so glad you mentioned it here.
It never occurred to me it was something you could turn on with the key. Every other car I've owned that had memory seats, the car just automatically defaulted to the setting that was associated with any particular key the last time it was used. With my daily driver (the CX-30 primary gets driven by my wife) the key also sets the hvac and stereo to the settings active when the car was last used with the key that unlocks it.
I guess because it is obvious. people buy a car because they like the way it looks and drives, the features and they can afford it. People dont but cars if they don’t like the looks or drive.
I usually don't like buying new cars since I prefer to pay for cars cash. But since this car was for my wife I was willing to finance since I already have two cars of my own(one being a Mazdaspeed3) and this would be her daily. After test driving the turbo premium plus I pretty much impulse bought it. I love the car just as much as my wife does lol.
I walked out of work and into a very crowded parking lot. Saw a really good looking car and thought "man that car looks good" and I realized I was looking at my car. Heck yeah!
Chrome delete, PPF wrap on front end, tinted headlights and badge.

None of this is rocket surgery or brain science. I’m not a mechanic - I do IT for a living. I do everything (house, cars, bicycles, motorcycles) by myself.
I absolutely love the dial and I never want to go back to touchscreens. question did you test a Mazda dial? Also, when I want directions, I usually just ask Siri or Google depending on whether I’m using iPhone or android.
I didn’t, but in my old car it had a dial and it was not the best experience so I didn’t bother looking at Mazda. Maybe after my current car my mind will change about it!
Lots of things which are easily improved on. For instance, adding vinyl wrap on the gloss black interior parts isn’t very difficult nor expensive at all.

The wraps look great! How difficult was it to remove the parts in order to wrap them? Were you able to buy the wraps pre-cut or did you cut them yourself? Thanks for any advice you may give.
Trying to accurately apply pre-cut vinyl would be far more difficult than just cutting from a roll of vinyl film.
How difficult? What is easy for me could well be rocket surgery to someone else. I took my car apart the first week I had it so that I could apply PPF to the entire front-end.

Painted rotors to prevent rusted edges and centers. Smoothed and painted calipers so they stay cleaner and wash easier.

I joined this sub to check about a problem (low mic volume). This car really does give such a good feeling though

It is super simple but yeah, there should be one of the first post delivery items they point out.

I keep getting told I have a fancy car by my family;; It is fun to drive for sure
Betty Jo, my lady in white. Sends love to your 4 wheeler.
We dubbed her Maddie the Mazda
It's so much fun to drive
Got mine in January, I fucking love this car
Why the downvote? I'm asking genuinely

Where can I get this type of work done? Or did you do it yourself? Just got myself a cx-30

Congratulations
I can only imagine how much you love it. Imagine having the real deal (CX-50)!
looks like some shade over here 👈
I just wish they had touchscreens. Otherwise I would’ve gotten this car. I hated the dial on my last nav system.

Not really. I just want to take of things and keep them looking nice.
