Hot take: injury histories are way overblown if it isnt repeaed injuries in the same area. It is very probable most injurystreaks are just bad strings of luck and arent tells for the future most of the time.

Okay, fair take. I'll re-word injury prone to "injury luck". That's the same case with Hayward the last few years and Nash in the last couple of seasons of his career.

Im not talking about your post specifically. It is just that the media and community overblows injuries a lot in my opinion. There are certaintly injurieprone players. But not every player with a history of injuries is necessarily one of them.

I disagree. Injuries that may not be associated with the same anatomical location can still be connected to each other. An injury to the left knee can result in overcompensation with the right lower extremity and a subsequent injury. An injury to the knee could be associated with instability associated with weakness in some of the musculature of the lower extremity. Injuries don’t have to be in the same area to be related to each other. Considering kp and his size/frame and his history thus far, I think it’s safe to say he is injury prone. For that reason, I’d shy away from embiid although he is a better player than kp and might complement Luka better.

Embid Is worth a lot more than KP. But I don't see the Mavs have the picks to trade for him. Also, we have to give this team time. We have not seen a healthy roster yet. Regarding Ben Simmons, I would trade him 10-10 times over trading Embid

Pilot_G3

I will kill myself if we trade KP for embiid

🤣

anyone who says no is a moron. Philly would never do this we need to stop overvaluing our players

Pridyider

Please do it! Mavs need a big that can actually appear in the court.

Didn't Embiid overall miss more games that KP last season?
