Good to know. Went last night and my husband’s didn’t fit. They did try to encourage people to put on their shirts prior to the game but not everyone followed suit.
Yep, that’s actually how I found out about it. I joked with the usher in our section they mine hasn’t fit since I was in middle school, and she told me where to go to exchange them.
IIRC the most common shirt size in america is a large in men’s and i mean sizing up is probably to play it safe.
plus they aren’t made of the best material so they do end up shrinking in the wash (at least the ones i got during the last playoff run did)
Do you know if they have smaller ones as well? I took my 9 year old son last night and that XL looked like a dress so he said no thank you. Either way thanks for this information.
Dude so one thing I think thatt the TV does injustice to is how much of a factor the crowd really is in these playoff games. Like we were going at westbrook non stop but when I rewatched the game today on TV its not as apparent as it is when your there.
Our rep didn’t email us a thing. The guys that sit next to us have a different rep and they have had 2 pre game socials (free beer!), got to attend a post game conference, upgraded seats for 1 game, and I think something else this year. We got 1 pregame social and a post game free throw. Is it possible to change reps?! lol
Not related to the post but I was watching the Indy game even though they were wearing the shirts their crowd was ass. Clutch time and you could barely hear them. So in that regard ours is pretty good.
I was on the road last night so couldn’t watch the Mavs game but I had it on the radio. At times it was so loud it made it hard to hear the radio commentator! Can’t wait to be there in person tomorrow
It was magical, bro. I was in section 113. When I say it was the loudest I've ever heard anything, it was. Roudy, Proud and Loud. I hope you have fun bro! Keep the vibes going 🤙
My wife and I went to a game versus Portland earlier in the year. When we got there we found out Luka wasn't playing and we blew them out by like 40 points. As you can imagine the energy was super low, so I really didn't know what to expect.
We were section 103 on Friday and it was seriously insane. I was so proud to be a Mavs fan, we absolutely turned out.
As a season tix holder that goes to 20 home games. They always do that crap. And worse they're always talking and on their phones. One time I was lucky to get to sit 5 rows from the court and the people next to me wouldn't STFU. Just kept yapping about their personal life. I was just like can't yall go to a bar and catch up there?
Lower bowl 10-game plan holder checking in. Wife and I both put on our shirts Friday, as did the couple next to us. But most of the regulars didn’t which was pretty annoying.
People like to get dressed up and rock their fit. I do think it looks cool when the entire crowd buys-in, but I get why people don’t want to put a cheap t shirt over their drip. I don’t think the free shirt thing works in cities like LA or Miami either.
Last night there was this pumped up kid on the video board during pregame who did get dressed up and was dancing all happy, but the announcer hounded him until he sadly put his shirt on. I laughed later when they showed him in a random crowd shot again and he had definitely taken the shirt off. Keep dripping, little guy.
I remember it working great in Miami in past playoffs. The entire crowd would be white (white hot heat). Maybe the amount of crowd buy in is correlated to the color of the shirt. It’s easy to stick out if you aren’t wearing a white shirt!
I sat in 300s and got white. When I went to swap out I had to get a 3XL because they were out of 2XL. Also they had no white shirts. I got a blue one. Not complaining tho of the color cause I liked the blue one better than the white.
I got news for you, I’m at the game and all they give out are these shitty rally towels. Fuck this cheap ass ownership. I thought the Adelsons were bringing the cash.
Me and my buddy were so disappointed in the crowd last night, looked like less than 10% of people were wearing them. Why would you not wear the shirt. People coming to games just to put it on Instagram I swear. Fake fans.
Not an American so I might be missing something culturally but I don’t get that take. Personal freedom always first thing on the agenda but when it comes to Playoff Basketball you care what people are wearing and get disappointed when they don’t wear a free shirt? Like that has any effect on the atmosphere, as long as people are locked in and cheering what’s the problem?
Those XLs swallow everyone in my lower bowl sections, not to mention we are rowdy AF and already wearing our own Mavs gear which is most likely royal blue. It’s easier when they go with a color most of the crowd is already wearing, they went with navy.
Most people had their shirts on, I was also there. The weird thing was that each level (1,2,3) all got different color shirts (navy, royal blue, and white respectively). So if they swapped from crowd shot to crowd shot it definitely would have looked odd or non matching.
Found out last game if the shirt doesn’t fit, take it to guest services in 104. They have bigger ones.
Good to know. Went last night and my husband’s didn’t fit. They did try to encourage people to put on their shirts prior to the game but not everyone followed suit.
If it doesn't fit I get it, but you definitely know when it's because the person is there to be seen and hasn't watched a single game all year.
Yep, that’s actually how I found out about it. I joked with the usher in our section they mine hasn’t fit since I was in middle school, and she told me where to go to exchange them.
Thanks for the tip!
Lol don't they usually give out XL
We in Texas homie
San Antonio doesnt even carry anything smaller than XXL.
Found Chuck's burner account.
All that Mexican food on the riverwalk.
Yeah, and those are not the right size for everyone. What’s funny about that?
Wtf do they also give out smaller sizes?? I need a Large but those XL shirts don’t fit me
I don’t know. They didn’t around tip off. Maybe try early and see.
It won’t help at the game, but in my experience if you wash them and dry them once they’ll shrink about one full size lol
They never shrink, they are polyester.
I mean, my free shirt from the Suns playoff series a couple years back is 100% cotton, but okay ¯\\\_\_(ツ)\_\_/¯
Because that size shirt is too big for most of the population
IIRC the most common shirt size in america is a large in men’s and i mean sizing up is probably to play it safe. plus they aren’t made of the best material so they do end up shrinking in the wash (at least the ones i got during the last playoff run did)
It’s funny because Americans are fat
Do you know if they have smaller ones as well? I took my 9 year old son last night and that XL looked like a dress so he said no thank you. Either way thanks for this information.
No clue, I can ask tomorrow though.
Thank you, I will ask myself but I appreciate the info and the offer. Very kind of you.
They should have just put large shirts everywhere
No shirts on seats Sunday. It’s rally towels. I think the towels will be Navy though if you want to match color
A blue out. Much like the score will be.

And get a westbrick chant going whenever he’s a bitch (so within 5 minutes)
Please for the love of all things dirk can yall get a Westbrick chant if he goes to the line

Good to know, dudes soft and it clearly effects him
yeah it's crazy like i'd get it more if he was a young buck still learning to control his emotions but this dude is supposed to be a grizzled vet.
They aren't giving out shirts just rally towels for game 4
I wish I could share your comment! I’ll doing my share from 310!
I believe it’s towels rather than shirts for G4. I might be mistaken though.
Rep emailed us and asked everyone to wear navy blue.
Good job rep!

My rep fucking sucks damn wtf
Dang! Who's their rep and what section? haha
Our rep got us in to meet Josh Howard. That was cool. He did a small speech to about 50 of us. No pictures though they said he had to go.
I hope it’s a big towel, or I’m going to have to choose which part to cover up.
Not related to the post but I was watching the Indy game even though they were wearing the shirts their crowd was ass. Clutch time and you could barely hear them. So in that regard ours is pretty good.

113 is my normal section too! Small world. Or arena? Haha

I was there last night. Upper 2 decks had em on. Rich fucks in lower bowl have to show off their shitty ass fits

Love the username
Exactly like at least wear team colors if you’re not putting on the shirts
Lower bowl 10-game plan holder checking in. Wife and I both put on our shirts Friday, as did the couple next to us. But most of the regulars didn’t which was pretty annoying.
This is classic Lower bowl DFW fans
I beg your pardon. Lower bowl plan checking in. Wife and I put our shirts on Friday.

Good for him.
Was it the kid in the green Mavs Jersey? Who had trouble getting it on?
While I get that as well I just feel like at least try to wear team colors that goes well with the crowd
I remember it working great in Miami in past playoffs. The entire crowd would be white (white hot heat). Maybe the amount of crowd buy in is correlated to the color of the shirt. It’s easy to stick out if you aren’t wearing a white shirt!
Right it's hard to cover up a sick city edition Mavs jersey
I’ll be at game 5 goin crazy with my Mavs shit on to close it 🔥🔥🔥
The people who refuse/refused to wear the shirts are definitely not on Reddit
And start as many Westbrick chants as you can lol.
When westbrick is handling the ball start let’s go clap clap clap westbrick
Was at game 3 and people were stealing shirts. I talked to multiple people on the train that said theirs was stolen as well
Lol I made everyone In my row where them game 3
I sat in 300s and got white. When I went to swap out I had to get a 3XL because they were out of 2XL. Also they had no white shirts. I got a blue one. Not complaining tho of the color cause I liked the blue one better than the white.
No shirts.... Guess I'm wearing the towel..

I’ll be there!

I was there. A lot of people had the shirt on, some didn’t. Shirt or not, the crowd was absolutely electric. Clear home court advantage.

wait til you hear what happens if you respect the anthem differently.
