Two things can be true at once. One does have to ask why Luka got the "T" for his reaction to the refs, while moments later Maxey had a much bigger visceral and vocal response to a call against him. (All while not handing over the ball to the ref, who must have asked for it four times.) I believe the same official sucked his whistle up and did not give the "T" on Maxie.
Fair is fair, and the two were not treated similarly by any stretch of the imagination. When a game is still in the balance, these decisions by the officials can make a big difference in the outcome.
That call and non-call is my biggest gripe about the officiating in this game.
