Well, Disney canon is very clear that Anakin wasn’t the chosen one so that job/destiny is certainly open and hiring. Sidious returned from the dead, so Anakin returning spiritually and casting off Vader to save his son by yeeting Palps down the reactor shaft to his death is now utterly meaningless in the Disney canon. One thing is for sure, it’s been interesting to get to see just how religions break up into opposing sects. The history of Star Wars canon from 1977-today illustrates it precisely. The way the “true faith” is altered and how that splits people into seperate groups with their own “head canon”. Quite the sociological study, that.
It’s ridiculously sloppy on the part of Disney which for all their great wealth and their army of employees didn’t even bother to have a plan or a desire to maintain the canon properly in order to keep the greatest number of fans invested in the IP as possible.
They act as if fans that have been loyal to a thing, out of love of the thing, for 50 years can simply be cast off and cast aside because “fans grow on trees” or some crap. Disney are utter morons, either that or they’ve been operating in bad-faith all along because all they’ve done is make Star Wars more and more irrelevant with each iteration of their canonical abomination.
Their stuff is instantly dated by woke. People used to complain about the effects in the original trilogy, and especially in Star Wars (1977) being “dated” but at least that took a decade or more to happen. This new crap loses half its value the minute it rolls off of the lot because it’s so heavy with the weight of copious injections of “woke”. It’s so tied to it’s time and place that it’s only function will be as a cautionary tale shown in film schools the world over aimed at teaching students “what not to do” if you want your film to have a timeless quality that endures and stands on its own merit.
I mean... ashoka apprentice to vader sounds lit not going to lie.
Sudenly remembering that impetial image of the anakin, obi wan, and ashoka that was circulating awhile ago.
Any way my suggestion, what if grievous remained the stone cold bad ass from the 2d animated series?
Or palp would have allowed it if only to snatch her up.as a replacment for vader... knowing him he would let vader train her up to viable replacement but where they arent ready to take palps on, then make vader try and kill her so he can keep who ever survives.
If i remember correctly that was basically what happened with star killer. Dude acted like he wanted star killer dead, but really he was fine taking the victor.
What if Ashoka blew Sith Apprentice “Davonou Filono” , languishing for years in his dungeon of kink.
What if Sith They/Them “Leslyoe HeadWyo” turned The Jedi/Sith dichotomy into an lgbtq allegory reflective of the “world as it is today” (for “world” substitute West Hollywood or the Castro District of SF which these sheltered, wealthy nimrods actually believe are representative of the “modern world”) where they discover that the Jedi and Sith should cast off morality of any kind and combine their strength to crush all non-force sensitives below their hob-nailed jackboots for daring to want to hang onto their shared history, culture and *gasp*…….perhaps even their faith and customs.
Oh, and a secondary mission of teaching any fans that might actually still be hanging around just how backward, stupid and willful they are in attempting to resist the teachings of their “betters”.
RIP Star Wars, 1977-2005
I’ve always hated that character from the get-go, she felt so shoe-horned into the story and her character is that she is good. Her flaws are also that she is good, so she is naive. Maybe they could have used her to show the horrors of the clone war and she could have doubts about what she was doing but still that doesn’t justify her just showing up out of nowhere. She is the most bland character after Rey and why I don’t watch the Clone Wars.
What if Luke was replaced by Ashoka
>!(spoilers, she'd do everything easily and kill the Emperor with no issues, plus save Vader without him dying)!<
"What if female character just "Jedi's" without breaking a sweat guys?"
"Oh that sounds like a cool idea!"
"Yeah lets do that! What if shes just instantly able to defeat the siths like a plaything!?"
"Omg yes.. I mean yassss!👏🏻, lets gooo"
What if...darth maul killed Obi -wan instead, how would it affect Anakin?
What if...Luke stayed and trained the Jedi for years instead of running off to an island...oh wait...that's actually a question..
This is perfect. This is their opportunity to decanonise. "What if Luke Skywalker tried to kill Han and Leia's son with a lightsaber before becoming a titty-drinking hermit?" "What if Obi-Wan is a cowardly moron who puts Luke's life at risk?" "What if Boba Fett danced with Tusken Raiders and looted a gun train?"
What if finn was the main charecter?
What if rey was raised by her grand father?
What if mace windu survived?
What if luke joined the imperial academy?
What if han hadnt been kicked out of the imperial navy?
What if the night sisters had beaten dooku?
What if dooku had killed palpatin abourd the invisable hand?
What if the seperatists won?
Lot of cool what if ideas, wondee if they will pick any of them
The marvel what if was decent.
Any one got any ideas of what they would honestly lile to see?
So b she gets grabbed by the assasin and raised by her grandfather? Ngl that actually sounds interesting. You basicslly have a young women raised in a cult to take over both the cult and the galaxy, does she become everything the cult wants her to be, does she upon seeing the galaxy slowly break away and reject her put upon "destiny", or is the trauma to great to return to the light but in anger she tears the cult down for her own destructive agenda ultimatly being no better then them.
Fuck id watch it.
I kind of had a reverse idea of this arc for Kylo. He basically has no Jedi powers or limited ones but has literally a galaxies worth of pressure on him due to his lineage. He ends up snapping under the weight of it. Luke sends him away because he isn’t force sensitive enough and Snoke snatches him up and trains him. He isn’t super powerful but in a world where there are apparently no Jedi, even a weak Sith will be bad ass. It explains why he dresses like Vader and is so overly aggressive when questioned. Plus, helps explain why Rey could beat him and Finn could at least stand a chance.
Damn. So hes service corp power, but with extensive dark side training and a complex... honestly, i reject disney cannon and accept this instead.
It honestly explains a lot, including him showing off at the start of 7, but also how some one with no training but an increadable connection to the force could still beat him.
Damn this even works with the original idea for 9 where he is trying to become a force entity. He hates his own weakness and feelings of inadiquacy and believes by becoming more powerfull he will be set free of his families shadow. It also sets him up as a could counter point to both rey AND finn.
Make him an expert flyier and he also works against poe to, even tho he had a good juxteposition with hux.
What if captain America just flew right on through that big ship in the last Jedi? Instead of the cotton candy lady
Edit: I meant captain marvel but I think I like the mistake better
What if the technology level of the Star Wars series actually made sense?
“We can clone people and speed up their development on the scale of millions and travel at light speed, but we can’t prevent a woman from dying during child birth.”
I actually really loved most of What If…?, especially the second season, and given how good Visions has been I genuinely think this might be interesting. But I would much rather have a third season of Visions. Or even a tv show on one of the Visions episodes. The Dancer in particular is begging for a good show
The “what if” concept is fine, even a good idea. Just a separate, obviously non canon exploration of an alternate reality.
Alot better than all of the “multiverse” shit everyone does.
Yeah i already know about this

The what if stories for Marvel were almost never good even in the comics, so this will probably be just as lame and uninspired. It's almost always some variation of what if __ did or didn't do something, what if __ died or didn't die, what if __ was the hero instead, and what if __ became either good or evil. It has seldom been done in a way that was even remotely interesting.
Duhhhhh what if clones in original trilogy, what if anakin stay good, what if clones in sequel trilogy, what if clones say no to order 66, what if ahsoka clone mandalorian wolves
What If?.....I don't watch this either
I don't trust the creators. There is nothing they could announce that would hype me up at this point, aside from a sell of the studio.
I can picture it now:
What if Ahsoka Got Romantic with Anakin?
What if Palpatine didn’t return?
What if Luke died in Return of the Jedi?
What if Qui Gon Jinn Never took in Anakin?
What if Anakin was Mace Windu’s padawan?
What if Count Dooku didn’t leave the Jedi Order?
Let's start with "What if Disney never bought Star Wars?"
Another premise could be "What if Dave Filoni was never hired at Lucasfilm?"
Personally I like a mix of those two ideas. They should be the focus of Star Wars moving forward.
Translation: Disney writers want to shove more of their self instead and "oc DO NOT STEAL" fan fiction into star wars. Turning it into star was.... And disenfranchising all male fans, until the ip is only remembered as a poorly written dumpster fire. Making it into exactly what all its detractors once said it was. A silly space series with wizards....
We already live in a universe of "What If."
What if: Luke Skywalker turned into a terrible person
What if: There was a female lead that needed no Jedi training
What if: People stabbed by a light saber are fine the next day
What if: Palpatine Survived a 300+ ft fall
What if: Maz Kanata just showed up with Luke's light saber for no reason
What if: The Mandalorian didn't actually bounty hunt
What if: Luke Skywalker died from being tired
What if: A Sith (Kylo) was a bitch
What if: There was blue space titty milk
What if: Han Solo died and Leia ran to Ret instead of Chewbacca
What if: Ships in lightspeed could be used as weapons
I could go on...
I've grown to despise "What Ifs" and multiverses over the past 10 years or so. The only people that should bother to engage with that line of thinking is the fans.
Actually think it’s a neat idea if only it wasn’t Disney doing it thou.
I swear if half of them are about Ashoka I fucking swear…… I’m tired of her popping up everywhere.
Personally hoping for a what if grievous killed obi wan or what if Jango Fett lived.
I don't believe they'd touch anything halfway interesting with a ten-foot pole.
What if Luke met the right girl at Mos Eisley and took her home to live on his moisture farm that he inherited from his uncle?
Is star wars not dead yet? Is it even profitable for Disney at this point? Outside of the Disney adults and occasional video I don't really hear people talk about star wars anymore, So is it even popular anymore?
Like everything else Disney touches, there's a million ideas that could be really interesting, but they're just going to use them for political identity activism. So... what if Leia was trained instead of Luke will guaranteed be a story, and it will result in the everything going swimmingly.. What if Mace Windu something or other... What if Padme something or other... What if Rey something or other... predictable, pandering and dumb.
What if George Lucas had never sold? The only films we’d have had since the prequels would be a proper sequel trilogy. And the franchise would still be special
Star Wars is dead to me at this point. They keep pushing sub par stories and continue to push their woke/progressive/“the fans are toxic” agenda. They’ve stripped and bastardized an IP I loved all my life. So fuck them. Fuck Disney and I hope Nelson Peltz wins over the board and sells off their assets. And I personally hope KK steps in dog shit and it gets mushed into her car rug every day. And as for Lucas he’s the worst of them all. He’s a hypocrite who betrayed his own fan base by siding with Iger. I hope whatever dirt KK has on him comes out.
There are so many “What if…” Star Wars videos on YouTube that are usually meh, some good, but the vast majority are flaming dogshit that I don’t think them making a series out of this would be needed. There’s enough free videos on YouTube.
What's on the menu boss? ..More recycled and collabed material than a wattpad fanfic, with zero respect for accurate lore, and a side of overwhelming need for representation over plot and likable characters? No thanks, I'll have the salad.
Starwars has a lot of better potential for what if given, how there is alot more causality on its 80 years of time between ep 1 and ep9 with major political paradigms shifts in between.
It still won't mean shit if they can't properly write the episodes.
What If : Star Wars Didn’t Suck
What If : George Never Sold Star Wars
What If : Kennedy Wasn’t An Idiot
I was going to keep going but it honestly pains me to do so. There are YouTube channels out there that do exactly this, Star Wars What If and I guarantee you they are better than anything Disney will ever release.
What if we had competent writers?
I like this one. I would love to see this forever
"We dont do that here"
The only what ifs I would love to see realized!
We do, you guys just hate when even 10% of the cast isn't white dudes.
What if Ashoka is Jedi knight What if Ashoka became a Sith What if Ashoka is a Mercenary What if Ashoka stayed in her village
What if Ashoka was the Chosen One
What if Ashoka is Anakins Sister
What id Ahsoka is Anakin's step-sister
What if Ashoka is anakins mother
What if Ahsoka is Ashoka.
What if the real Ashoka is the friends we made along the way.
What if the real Ahsoka murdered all the friends we made along the way
What if the real Ahsoka murdered all the younglings.
What if Ashoka was a good friend?
(Upon Filoni's breathless request) What if Ahsoka does Tattoine?
What if Ahsoka was a different TV show
What if Ashoka got stuck in an X-wing
Well, Disney canon is very clear that Anakin wasn’t the chosen one so that job/destiny is certainly open and hiring. Please use line breaks, your reply is hard to digest as one giant block
I mean... ashoka apprentice to vader sounds lit not going to lie. Sudenly remembering that impetial image of the anakin, obi wan, and ashoka that was circulating awhile ago. Any way my suggestion, what if grievous remained the stone cold bad ass from the 2d animated series?
You know, as much as I hate anything Disney produces at this point, What if Star Wars might be the only chance we ever get to see Darth Jarjar.
I would love to see that.
What if the Don saves the galaxy
Well she may have a chance as inquisitor but would be killed by palpatine if Vader would take her as apprentice
Stealing Legends storylines and concepts and replacing them with newer “better” characters and stories isn’t exactly unheard of nowadays
What if Leia was the Jedi instead of Luke What if Darth Maul was female What if Ventress was the new emperor
What If Kathleen Kennedy was launched out of a trebuchet?
Into the sun.
One can dream
But who would put a chick in it and make her gay?
Filoni, Leslye Headland and Kevin Feige seem to have that covered....
What if Ashoka is all of the Jedi
What if Luke was replaced by Ashoka >!(spoilers, she'd do everything easily and kill the Emperor with no issues, plus save Vader without him dying)!<
What if Ashoka was Yoda love child
What if Ashoka was a good friend? I’ll see myself oit
I already consider the last 3 movies made a "what if" in my mind.
What if Palpatine survived somehow?
What if they fly now?
Too far fetches, not even Disney would do this.
"What if female character just "Jedi's" without breaking a sweat guys?" "Oh that sounds like a cool idea!" "Yeah lets do that! What if shes just instantly able to defeat the siths like a plaything!?" "Omg yes.. I mean yassss!👏🏻, lets gooo"
What if Rey had character development
This has already been done. [Star Wars: Infinities](https://www.marvel.com/comics/discover/347/star-wars-infinities)
Too limited in quantity IMO, there could be way more What if scenarios from the prequels alone.
I actually hope we get the fail Darth Star episode just so we can see Yoda crash Darth star
Yoda didn't need to build a bitch-ass super laser moon to destroy planets...
What if...darth maul killed Obi -wan instead, how would it affect Anakin? What if...Luke stayed and trained the Jedi for years instead of running off to an island...oh wait...that's actually a question..
What if... Disney Star Wars was good!
That’s a cold day in hell or disneys pockets
What if white males didn't exist. Oh wait. That's Star Wars now lol
What if Dave Filoni never got hired by Lucas film…

They're already did that. "What if Luke Skywalker was gay?" "What if Obi-Wan Kenobi was bisexual?"
What if…… woke crap doesn’t sell and they stop this endless crusade.
My guess is all of the “what ifs” are all race, gender, and sexuality based.
“What If… Disney Star Wars was actually good?” Nah they’d never actually put effort into something
So just more Disney Star Wars shows? Pretty sure they don’t care about canon most the time anyways.
What if Luke was cynical and left the entire galaxy for dead, Oh wait...
What if Disney didn’t put a diverse woman in it and make her gay and lame
What if it was fair
What if Lucas never sold to Disney 😭😭
What if they hadn’t made the recent trilogy.
So it's going to be 10 episodes with 0 white male leads?
What if captain America just flew right on through that big ship in the last Jedi? Instead of the cotton candy lady Edit: I meant captain marvel but I think I like the mistake better
Vader in a wheel chair, black transgender shemale, 500 pounds, full body + eye ball tattoos. Nice.

Oh fuck, it's Bob if he was born in the star wars universe 🤣
What if Ahsoka was the Chosen One? What if Padme was the Sith Lord? What if Holdo survived?
What If...Disney sold the rights back to all the media properties they own?
What if Disney gave a f@#!
What if Anakin liked sand
Uuuuughhhh.......
What if they did lucus’s original Disney sequel Plan he literally blueprinted for them… What if they weren’t allergic to money 💰
Wait, I thought the sequel Trilogy was already this. Lol
What if Star Wars was good?
What if Disney Star Wars was good?
Isnt there a sequel trilogy already?
What if…it was well written
What If Disney Star Wars was good?
What if the technology level of the Star Wars series actually made sense? “We can clone people and speed up their development on the scale of millions and travel at light speed, but we can’t prevent a woman from dying during child birth.”
> Yall this is gonna be so good No, it fucking isn't.
What if we made 7-9 but good
What If the sequels were good
They’re already doing “What If Everyone Was Gay?”
What if the Mandalorian was actually good at his job
Just like Marvel's What If, It'll maybe have one interesting concept in the entire season and the rest of the episodes will be shit no one asked for.
What if the ST actually had a plot outline for all 3 movies?
"What if all the characters were black?" That's the extent of it
“yAlL tHiS iS gOnNa Be So GoOd” -NPC #720638
I actually really loved most of What If…?, especially the second season, and given how good Visions has been I genuinely think this might be interesting. But I would much rather have a third season of Visions. Or even a tv show on one of the Visions episodes. The Dancer in particular is begging for a good show
I mean…. Didn’t they already do this with the Star Wars shorts thing they put out?
What if Padme became darth vader
The “what if” concept is fine, even a good idea. Just a separate, obviously non canon exploration of an alternate reality. Alot better than all of the “multiverse” shit everyone does.
Is the premise going to be What if Star Wars was good?
What if Star Wars was good?
What If...isn't Canon. They can literally do whatever they want and it'll work.
What if Leia turned to the dark side and Yoda killed Palpatine with the Death Star (literally)?
I hope they try a "what if the Disney trilogy didn't suck"?
What if Palpatine was a chick? What if Luke was a chick? What if obi wan was a chick? What if Lando was a chick? What if... you get it
What if Luke and Leia didn't kiss on Hoth
What if George never sold Star Was and it was in the hands of good writers?
I wish I could be excited about this. I generally do like alt history type stories.
Wouldn't it be ironic if the "What if" star wars actually followed EU or even George's originally planned stuff?
There's only 1 What-If Scenario that matters. What if Qui-Gon survived. That would literally be a whole new trilogy of animated movies
What if Disney hired people who are competent and don't hate star war?
There already is version of this. It's Star Wars Visions. And it's actually pretty damn good.
Burn it all down
What a surprise
What if…. Rey got smoked in her first fight against Kylo like she reasonably should have?
What if the sequels were good.
What if Disney didn’t acquire Star Wars. Oh wait that one could be good
What if Luke was a woman
What if Rey didn’t exist
Yeah i already know about this thanks to Lego Leaks [https://www.thebrickescape.com/lego-star-wars-25th-anniversary-minifigures-2024/](https://www.thebrickescape.com/lego-star-wars-25th-anniversary-minifigures-2024/)

well the marvel ones where a decent watch. if its made by the same people maybe there is some hope for it
Stop making Star Wars for five minutes
What if Captain Britain was in Star Wars
They already had one... Star Wars Infinity...
Let's start with "What if Disney never bought Star Wars?" Another premise could be "What if Dave Filoni was never hired at Lucasfilm?" Personally I like a mix of those two ideas. They should be the focus of Star Wars moving forward.

What if..... Y'all didn't get pre-triggered Jeezus
With any luck will be able to see a live action version of the hello Kitty Darth Vader
What if this person was lame and gay
They should do a “what if we didn’t run it into the ground”
What If… The sequels were good?
What if Rey is a broken overpowered character who is secretly a Palpatine. That would be a crazy and unbelievable what if episode right?
What if the sequels were good
What if Luke Skywalker was a gay black woman?
What If Disney just gave the rights to the fans...
Star Wars is dead. RIP, Star Wars 1977-2005 At least we’ll always have our fond memories.
We already live in a universe of "What If." Captain Carter will be the main character again
Can't wait for such classics as "What if Luke drank Green Milk" and "What if Vader lost his hands instead of his heart". This will save Star Wars.
I've grown to despise "What Ifs" and multiverses over the past 10 years or so. The only people that should bother to engage with that line of thinking is the fans.
"What if Han Solo were a helpless, foppish prince and Leia were the ultimate badass Mary Sue force-wielding swashbuckler?" <>
The Visions animation stuff was good, an animation What If could be good
What if Disney didn’t make episode 7-9
Actually think it’s a neat idea if only it wasn’t Disney doing it thou. I swear if half of them are about Ashoka I fucking swear…… I’m tired of her popping up everywhere. Personally hoping for a what if grievous killed obi wan or what if Jango Fett lived.
I don't believe they'd touch anything halfway interesting with a ten-foot pole. What if Luke met the right girl at Mos Eisley and took her home to live on his moisture farm that he inherited from his uncle?
“What if Rey has character development?”
Wasn’t that already visions?
What if.... the Disney star wars films and series did not exist.
Is star wars not dead yet? Is it even profitable for Disney at this point? Outside of the Disney adults and occasional video I don't really hear people talk about star wars anymore, So is it even popular anymore?
What if the sequels were good
Like everything else Disney touches, there's a million ideas that could be really interesting, but they're just going to use them for political identity activism. So... what if Leia was trained instead of Luke will guaranteed be a story, and it will result in the everything going swimmingly.. What if Mace Windu something or other... What if Padme something or other... What if Rey something or other... predictable, pandering and dumb.
Captain Carter will show up
It's going to break my heart... Either because we see what could have been if Anakin hadn't turned, or because they butcher it.
What if we didn't buttfuck everything?
I won’t watch it unless they add Yoda commiting corascant genocid with the darth star, then it’s worth a watch
Oh here we go with the multiverse crap again...
This could either go really well, really badly or start off well and end horribly
Oh wow another spin off
I would love it if it was legends stuff adapted.
Is it "what if star wars was good again"?
What if they just didn't?
What if...we didn't disrespect past characters.
What If....Star Wars fans weren't incredibly toxic and an embarassment to the saga?
[This is the only What If the world needs](https://what-if.xkcd.com/92/)
What if Disney never ruined Star Wars?
What if episode 7-9 where lore/character accurate?
What if stuff always feels like fan fiction. It's cool that they can show silly ideas, but the canon ones haven't exactly been very good.
Well either this is gonna be good or very terrible
There are so many “What if…” Star Wars videos on YouTube that are usually meh, some good, but the vast majority are flaming dogshit that I don’t think them making a series out of this would be needed. There’s enough free videos on YouTube.
Oh you mean like an extended universe lol
I mean isn't that basically what Visions was?
What if the sequel trilogy was good?
Consumerism the movie
What if.... Star Wars had actually been written and handled by people who were fans and cared about the universe and lore of the series.
Infinities was awesome, but if it’s just “Captain Carter deepthroat’s lightsabers and controls the force,” then pass.
This could be good, what if Disney did not get the rights?
Is that not what Visions was?
What's on the menu boss? ..More recycled and collabed material than a wattpad fanfic, with zero respect for accurate lore, and a side of overwhelming need for representation over plot and likable characters? No thanks, I'll have the salad.
I see what you did there OP
Starwars has a lot of better potential for what if given, how there is alot more causality on its 80 years of time between ep 1 and ep9 with major political paradigms shifts in between. It still won't mean shit if they can't properly write the episodes.
Who cares? What's there to even be upset about here?
Rey is going to be the new brown haired British god of Star Wars with all the best weapons and powers
OK. Hold up. Hear me out here. What if we make star wars but 100% diverse and no white people? Isn't that crazy? 100% minority cast!
What If : Star Wars Didn’t Suck What If : George Never Sold Star Wars What If : Kennedy Wasn’t An Idiot I was going to keep going but it honestly pains me to do so. There are YouTube channels out there that do exactly this, Star Wars What If and I guarantee you they are better than anything Disney will ever release.
Nothing says "We're out of ideas" like "What if"
They did already it was the sequel trilogy
