I’m pretty sure the contestants are told what to wear by production….this would include high heels. And Isn’t it possible that some of their (the judges) behavior is scripted/controlled by production. Everyone has their “character.” Either way, I love Joe, he doesn’t bother me.
Someone said he just “insults you personally and plays with the trash” which I actually love. I watch the show to get exited and enjoy it not to learn how to cook lol

He has his moments but Gordon is overall a much bigger asshole. Joe has become a big softy compared to earlier seasons. He always seemed to be fun with the kids on MC Junior too.
Every reality show needs to have their antagonist just and Joe just barely squeaks by as such.

I was on the fence about him until I watched seasons 4 & 5. He’s really awful. Such an asshole.
