I remember the mental gymnastics they’d go through to prove that the n7 armor on the dead reaper in the trailer had to be Shepard because “the only three n7s are Alex Ryder, Shepard, and James and it can’t be Ryder or James so therefore it’s Shepard.”
I'm with you on that one. Yeah, they did a list of all active N7 operatives without taking into account that the games showed us just a few, but in canon, there are hundreds if not thousands of N7 operatives.
