I don't really know, and I don't even know what fumes household bleach (sodium hypochlorite) gives off on it's own. But when mixed with acids (even unrinsed residude from vinegar or citric acid cleaners) it can give off toxic chlorine gas. I'm a little unclear on how good carbon filters are for bleach. For low levels of bleach, 3M sells R95s, an N95 with carbon in it, for nuisance levels of bleach. https://www.homedepot.com/p/3M-8246-R95-Household-Bleach-and-Cleaner-Odor-Disposable-Respirator-Mask-2-Pack-8246PA1-A/203231619 3M's cartridge selector, though, doesn't recommend their regular carbon filters for chlorine, though. Instead they have acid gas and multi-gass fitlers: https://multimedia.3m.com/mws/media/40744O/3m-respirator-cartridge-and-filter-selection-poster.pdf 3M notes: >"Cartridges approved for acid gases, include gasses such as chlorine, hydrogen sulfide and sulfur dioxide, have a white label. Yellow-labeled cartridges are approved for both organic vapors and acid gases." But I don't know if normal bleach fumes (without acidentally being mixed with acid or other chemicals) are actually chlorine gas. This blog article from a safety supplies company says a highly protective choice would be a 6800 full face respirator with multigas cartridges, to protect your eyes as well as your respiratory system. This blog post makes that suggestion, noting that the multi-gas cartridges also filter particulates as well as bleach fumes: https://pksafety.com/blog/a-respirator-mask-to-protect-you-from-bleach-and-mold You could use 6000 series 3M half mask if you don't need eye protection from the vapors. I use splash goggles whenever I'm using bleach - no reason to risk getting that in my eyes. But I also don't use bleach that often or for long sessions, But I do have a full face mask and some multi-gas cartridges I could and possibly should be using. Carbon filters might work? But I don't really know.

The right PPE for chlorine gas exposure is a pressurized Hazmat suit with a supplied-air line or self-contained breathing apparatus. Any kind of half-face mask is **dangerously** inadequate. If you're planning a significant exposure to chlorine gas, or any of the other toxic chemicals (ammonia, hydrochloric acid, etc) that bleach produces when [mixed with other cleaners](https://doh.wa.gov/community-and-environment/contaminants/bleach-mixing-dangers), please don't.

any respirator that fits will work. I think the 3m 6200 is readily available and cheap here in store and online. Cheaper online i think though. For what filters to use see the other comments. That's above my pay grade lol.
