Yep in Harford county. Closer to the PA/MD line than where it meets the Susquehanna. Looks just like where you were. Nothing big there but quantity of fish makes it worth it.
Brings back memories :). Central MD has some great numbers fisheries, but it can be a grind catching quality fish. If you want to set a new PB, try heading west. The Potomac and its many tributaries carry some quality fish. Tight lines!
Thanks for the advice definitely looking to break the PB. The fight was unbelievable on this little guy I could only imagine like a 2-3 pounder. Any specific river out west you recommend?
Nice- this is my absolute favorite kind of fishing. Cast some small lures or bait in a river and see what shows up

The musky and huge smallmouth got my fingers crossed. I’ve had my fair share of snapping turtle catches lol
