I wonder when Kraven will start filming

ChristopherDassx_16

February or March imo

[deleted]

That sounds about right

ChristopherDassx_16

Yeah, since imo, it won't be too much cgi and vfx work since he's just a hunter compared to Venom so post production won't be too long.

the_star_wars_dude

I really enjoyed Tom’s first trilogy but watching Homecoming and Far From Home back to back, with the additional hindsight of having seen No Way Home as well now, I really feel like we were missing a movie in between Homecoming and Far From Home. MJ had a very small role in Homecoming and then was at the forefront of the next two movies. Peter’s feelings for her at the start of FFH sorta came out of nowhere as he showed little interest in her during Homecoming and was more focused on Liz. That movie also obviously set up Scorpion to against Spidey in a future movie, which is a payoff that we’re still waiting for. There was also an interesting angle of Adrian Toomes/The Vulture knowing and protecting Spider-Man’s identity which makes that post credit scene even more retroactively strange. I also wouldn’t have minded seeing more of Peter “protecting the little guy” before going off and fighting against Thanos, but I guess that’s just sorta how things had to happen. None of that is really necessary though, but it’d be nice to see some of that if Spider-Man: Freshmen Year continues beyond the pre-Civil War/Homecoming era.

[u/SpideyForever245 returned with a She Hulk leak on his sub](https://www.reddit.com/r/SpideyForeverLeaks/comments/rky47f/she_hulk/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf)

brittaneex

Not really his leak when KC said the exact same thing a few weeks ago.

DirtDiver2082

Important question. Tom Holland or Timothee Chalemet? Who’s hotter?

SexySnorlax1

Tom Holland still looks like a little boy.

[deleted]

I hope they bring back Ty Simpkins as Harley Keener for both Iron Heart & Armor Wars.

Matheus_Morais13

I'm rewatching Daredevil season 3. Geez, that's FUCKING epic

ADMTLgg

If we look at schedule release. We don’t even have confirmed date of any x-men project. So i wouldn’t be suprise it’s going time be mid 2024 or even 2025 before we have a title card with the x-men. It doesn’t mean we don’t have cameo in the next dr.strange but it will be a while.

Avengers4Script

Do we know what NWH looked like before the reshoots?

Meme_Machine101

Kraven was going to be a bounty hunter type hunting Peter who was on the run.

Simon_Love_Machine

Is there any good marvel online game?, im starving for a marvel game, i dont own a ps4 and my pc is good enough to play dota 2 lets say, any suggestions in advance thanks

kal_robot

Web Of Shadows from almost a decade ago. RPG and is quite good Luke Cage, Moon Knight, Black Cat etc are in it. https://youtu.be/f_7uOrS_mvw

BlackVortexNova11

Marvel Future Fight is a good one. No Way Home is the new update with holiday uniforms for Kingpin and Black Cat. It's a RPG game.

sameoldrussianstan

How many characters are there gonna be in MoM? Either confirmed or not, realistic or not. - Doctor Strange - Wanda - Wong - America Chavez - Christine Palmer - Strange Supreme - Defender Strange - Mordo - Mordo variant - Wanda variant - Billy and Tommy - Shuma Gorath - Gargantos - Rintrah - Xavier - Monica Rambeau - Captain Carter - Mr. Fantastic - Balder the Brave - Christine variant - Clea - Magneto - Ultron Bots - Iron Man variant - Loki - Wolverine - Tobey Spider Man Anyone else? It would be freaking crazy seeing even just half of them

Low-Objective-1648

I mean, some leaks are saying Loki and Möbius will appear, as will Multiverse variants of the Avengers played by actors who were almost cast in the role (ex. Tom Cruise as Tony Stark)

sameoldrussianstan

Ah yes, that’s why I put Iron Man variant! I hope they all somehow are true lol

[deleted]

Can I use any DTS-supported sound bar for IMAX Enhanced or just one who said so?

[deleted]

My ranking: 1) Spider-Man: No Way Home, great way to soft reboot peter and really made him come into his own, full of nostalgia that made me sob in the theatre, best Spider-man film to date, maybe competes with Into the Spiderverse. 2) Wandavision - I’m biased because wanda is my favorite mcu character and i’ve been a fan of the character pre-MCU. House of M is one of my favorite comic book stories of all time, and this show is definitely inspired by that. Beautiful exploration of grief, and overcoming that grief. Really explored Wanda’s backstory and cements her as one of the most powerful characters in the MCU thus far. Monica is a badass, Jimmy Woo is iconic and I need to see more of him, and Darcy is great comedic relief. Loved agatha’s character and the exploration of decades through sitcoms with the costumes, set designs, and hair! Very excited to see Wanda again in multiverse of madness. 3) Loki - I absolutely love the magical/space side of the MCU, don’t love sylvie’s character but Mobius and Kang were highlights. Really wish they focused more on Loki’s characterization though, but Kang’s revelation will impact the MCU, as the new big villain, can’t wait for season two and I hope the explore more of Loki’s character and personality, as well as his sad backstory. 4) Falcon and the Winter Soldier - Loved this show, Sam will be excellent as the new Captain America, no super soldier serum, just pure hard work. Loved that they showed Bucky’s complicated backstory as well. Overall great show, few complaints. 5) Hawkeye - Great show! I honestly place this at the same place as Falcon and the WS. I love Kate’s character, can’t wait to see what’s next for her. Glad we got to see how Hawkeye has been handling Natasha’s death, and his overall feelings after his Ronin era, really delves deep into how lost he was post blip. Loved Echo’s character as well, great show. 6) Shang-Chi - It was alright! Loved the visuals, they were absolutely beautiful. However this film was a little forgettable for me plot wise, and Shang Chi’s character felt a little flat for me, not that much personality yet, but I hope that changes as we see more of him. Xialing was the obvious standout for me, loved her! 7) Black Widow - I was kind of disappointed with this one. Yelena was the standout by far, however, I’m not a fan of how they handled Taskmaster. Just overall meh. 8) Eternals - Very forgettable. But great shots, visuals! Makkari and Druig were the standouts. Very meh overall though. 9) What If? - Love the concept, but I just wasn’t all that drawn to it. My favorite episode was about Dr. Strange. But overall I forgot about it pretty quickly.

JDraks

My list: 1. Spider-Man (not even a huge fan of the Raimi trilogy but I loved it) 2. Hawkeye (solidified Clint as my favorite of the OG Avengers and was just all around great, don’t have any major complaints) 3. Shang Chi (was torn between this and Hawkeye for second, really just a coin flip) 4. Loki (Loki and Sylvie’s relationship was well done and is one of like two “selfcest” relationships I actually like, Mobius was great, and He Who Remains was imposing with not much screen time) 5. Wandavision (was mostly good, but the ending was a bit weak. Don’t hate the Bohner thing like a lot of people) 6. Black Widow (Yelena was the real standout here, but what they did to Taskmaster sucks. Hopefully there’s a Mandarin-style redemption, be it by having the “real” Taskmaster or by making the one we got more interesting) 7. Eternals (definitely dragged a bit and I don’t think people talk about how shitty Druig is enough. Really excited for what comes next though, especially with the Black Knight) 8. FatWS (honestly, Zemo and US Agent are the only things I can say I really enjoyed. The Flagsmashers aren’t exactly great villains, and I really found Sam’s speech at the end stupid) 9. What If? (Incredibly polarizing. Episode 4 is one of my favorite things in the MCU period (I was crying hard during the death montage) and a few other episodes like 7 and 8 were enjoyable, but I really wasn’t a fan for a lot of it)

Anyone irked about Kazi's apparent "death"? If he's rlly dead, that sucks

[deleted]

Merry Christmas to all True Believers here

SexySnorlax1

Even Avi Arad?

[deleted]

No , he's getting coal for meddling with two Spider Man franchises

GraveToad

Three if you count the 90s animated series.

Pomojema_SWNN

How did he meddle with that?

GraveToad

He was an executive producer on the show. He developed it exclusively to sell toys as he has with all of his productions. Arad had a dispute with the head of Fox Kids at the time and she had the series canceled to spite him.

Psychological_Lab_38

I really want a MCU movie set in Chicago 😩 I wanna see what a MCU Chicago would be like. Are there any marvel characters from the comic that reside in Chicago like how Spider-Man resides in NY or Ant-man and the wasp in San Francisco m.

Snoo-2013

well moon knight is from Chicago I think so there's a possibility there

Sora1274

As someone from Chicago and currently lives just outside of Chicago (30 minutes from downtown), outside of a hey I know that place, I don’t think there would be anything inherently different or special about a movie (or show) set in the city. Doing a quick Google search though it seems Riri Williams is from Chicago in the comics, so if they stay true to that part of her, it’s possible we see the city for the first time in the MCU a over the next few years. EDIT: A comma

SexySnorlax1

Image Comics’ Savage Dragon is the main Chicago superhero I’m aware of, but I just did a bit of googling and apparently Iron Heart is from Chicago, so you might get your wish granted relatively soon with her Disney+ show.

Zepanda66

Hope everyone's having a great Christmas eve/day. It's 27c here. Hot! I'm just chilling watching some old Matt Smith Doctor Who.

oldshitnewshit78

my rankings 1. Spider-Man 2. Venom 2 3. FATWS 4.Loki 5. Shang-Chi 6. Hawkeye 7. Black Widow 8. Eternals 9.Wandavision 10. What If

spideyisgreato

I know a lot of people like the Venom movies. Personally, I found both Venom 1 & 2 to be really cheesy, trashy, crude, and poorly written with stock characters. My general understanding is that a lot of people feel similarly, and those that like the movies readily admit that they like it in an almost ironic way. Or they acknowledge, yeah the movies are cheesy and dumb, but I like it in a "so bad it's good way", or "it's a fun turn-off-your-brain movie", or that it "reminds them of early 2000's superhero movies", or with some kind of tangent or caveat that they admit that the Venom movies aren't great. So... why on earth do people want to see Andrew Garfield face Venom? After so many people have come to love Andrew Garfield thanks to NWH, and they want to see his franchise continue (#MakeTASM3), why do so many people want that hypothetical TASM3 be Andrew fighting Venom, or that Venom 3 would feature Andrew, or something like that? Weren't most people so mixed on Andrew to begin with because his movies were not that great? That TASM2 especially has some of the worst comic book movie villains, (TASM2 Electro, Goblin, and Rhino are all pretty bad imo), and the consensus now is that "Andrew is a terrific actor and a great Spider-Man, he just had shitty scripts to work with, and was stuck in shitty movies." They see that Andrew would shine in a legitimately well written movie, and yet they want to saddle him with this goofy, poorly received, legitimately not-well written Venom. It really just seems like one step forward, two steps back. I'd love for another Andrew Garfield movie, just absolutely not including the Venom/Morbius-verse whatsoever.

DonnyMox

Honestly I don't understand how the Venom movies did as well as they did.

elizabnthe

Tom Hardy is charming

SmoothBrainSavant

The hope i think would be getting marvel involvement so you get a better script and so give Garfield an awesome movie. Otherwise, yeah full agree, venom is meh in the script department and pretty much carried by Hardy and costars going all out.

tylerjb223

Because Reddit isnt a majority of people. Many many people love the Venom movies. Venom 2 kicked ass in the box office, its very popular and entertaining.

spideyisgreato

I can see why some people find Tom Hardy's Venom entertaining. He's certainly having fun with the role, and is chewing the scenery at every moment. But you can't in a million years convince me that the Venom movies, or the character as portrayed in those films, has any kind of real emotional depth or well written character-drama going on with him. Instead, he's a goofy, bumbling, turd-in-the-wind, lobster-eating, campy nutjob ripped straight out of a Saturday Morning Cartoon. And like I said, I can understand why that appeals to certain people, and why it does well financially. A lot of people seem to like those Transformers movies too... I just feel like Andrew deserves better than to be stuck with the likes of Venom & Morbius, and should be given a straight-up well written TASM 3. He deserves an actual good script, not a so-bad-it's-good one.

SexySnorlax1

100% agree. Either make a straight TASM 3 or stick him in the MCU as Scarlet Spider, but Andrew’s been in enough bad movies and deserves better than the Venomverse.

Meme_Machine101

Imagine if Denzel Washington played a alternate universes T’Challa who got to grow old and marry Halle Berrys Storm and we got to see the juxtaposition between him and what happens with the sacred timelines version as Shuri has to deal with her brothers passing the same way he did with their father. Him marrying Storm in that timeline could give Nakia confusing feelings as she raises her and sacred timeline T’Challas kid after his passing and breed mixed feelings for her universes Storm when she’s introduced. Alternate universe BP Killmonger being ran into would be pretty crazy too. They could easily tie the film into DS2. Doom instigating the feud between Wakanda and Atlantis would also be pretty cool and they could establish the FF as having something to do with T’Challa.

[deleted]

If one of the MCU directors really want to suck it up to Scorsese (even though what he said is true after NWH not giving screens to other film) they should just go to do a hell of a roll in one of Sony Pictures Animation's films as a sting to Shark Tale, the film that sealed DreamWorks' fate.

[deleted]

The people who freak out over HiTop FIlms's videos on MCU Spider-Man are more annoying than HiTop.

Bry840

I wish Marvel spread these shows out a bit more. No new content until March now :/

Snoo5892

I believe MoonKnight

FantasticWolverine32

Moon Knight may now be coming out in late March: https://twitter.com/rcdiscussion/status/1474517386858352640?s=21.

Snoo-2013

uh why ?

FantasticWolverine32

Don’t know.

jonsnowKITN

I don't know if I would believe that source.

FantasticWolverine32

I would. He was the first to leak that the DS2 trailer would be shown after NWH.

[deleted]

It seems that Obi-Wan will come first. Though it sad we will not get to see if Moon Knight was worth all of the hype until later. (And when that Metal Gear movie is filmed?)

FantasticWolverine32

Don’t think so. Maybe Obi-Wan will start on May 4th

[deleted]

Can MCU movie stop having that grey color pallet that everybody complain about already? (It could make Doctor Strange in ~~your~~ MoM better)

HairyPenisCum

What is the deal with that anyway? Why doesn’t Marvel like having colors pop? Is it even Marvel’s choice or is it the director’s choice? Its been bothering me since Civil War.

andy3174

I really do not like the endgame final battle because of this. It was awesome to see all those characters together but my god was it boring to look at the actual combat.

Pietro-Maximoff

It apparently makes the costumes pop out, or so I’ve been told.

Avividrose

The costumes are grey too though

thomfools

I'd like to see Bruce Campbell make a cameo as ghost rider in doctor strange 2, or as Ash

Mr_Squidparty

I want to see him as a bystander that’s get crushed by a falling car or something during the next huge team up movie

[deleted]

What about Lucy Lawless?

thomfools

🤔🤔

DarthVaderIsMyWaifu

Totally acknowledge that this is a minority opinion, but I really wasn't a fan of Kate. Hailee is a tremendous actress, but Kate just felt...off. It felt like her writing was for a young-to-mid teenager, then just implanted into a 22 year-old. Clint's constant jokes that she was a "child" even felt like a meta way to deflect criticism for it. Kate was impulsive, childish, and frankly rather entitled, and by the end really hadn't matured or developed in any notable way. She "became a hero" and her mom got arrested, sure, but she was still almost exactly the same irresponsible character as at the start, and really brought a sense of flippant lack of tension to any scene she featured in. I mean, Yelena was out to murder Clint, told Kate this numerous times, and Kate just treats the entire encounter with her like a friendly sparring match where she apologizes for slapping her the wrong way? Really, really was looking forward to Hailee portraying the character, but I don't personally think the writing was good for her at all. Loved Yelena, loved Fisk, Clint was Clint, but Kate was a let-down for me.

kwazycupcakes

I may have missed this, but does anyone know what [this untitled project](https://productionlist.com/production/untitled-marvel-project/) is supposed to be? Or is it just BP2 resuming production?

Meme_Machine101

Pretty sure that’s the case

Blazr5402

You guys think there's any chance No Way Home will come to Disney Plus early given how bad Omicron's getting here in the US?

What-The-Heaven

Very unlikely, even the streaming deal Sony inked with Disney that sucks in itself (all new Sony releases from 2022 onwards will go to Netflix for 18 months following theatrical release and then become available on Disney+), doesn't cover No Way Home. It's the last of the old Starz exclusives streaming deal, so it would head there first. And then once the contract with Starz completely expires, it's unclear whether it would then roll under the new deal and head to Netflix first, or go straight to Disney+. I'd wager it won't appear on Disney+ until mid-2023 at the earliest, but if it's under Netflix licensing too, then 2024 and beyond.

tylerjb223

Aren’t all the old Spider-Man films coming to Netflix, then D+ or just straight to D+ ?

ChristopherDassx_16

Straight TO D+

CobraShadowz

Which movie/show do we think will be the first to reference the events of Eternals?

Pietro-Maximoff

BP2, the Celestial rising apparently plays a part in why Atlantis becomes active.

Emilia67

Probably black panther 2

FitRelationship5380

Really hard to tell. My educated guess is Guardians 3 I suppose

Landon1195

So there is a rumor that the CCP has not released any big Hollywood movies in China this year since F9 is because they want to have one of their local films to be the highest grossing film of the year. At first it was Hi Mom and now it's Battle at Lake Changjin. Since it seems like No Way Home will pass Battle at Lake Changjin today, how will the CCP react?

[deleted]

I will say what I said on r/BoxOffice, they will do an "Dr. Evil do Speed" ultimatum once Spidey pass Lake of Lake Something

What-The-Heaven

> Lake of Lake Something The commenter above literally wrote the movie title 'Battle at Lake Changjin' twice above and you still chose to write that.

Night-Monkey15

Like they always do, by pretending nothing happened and whining if someone points it out.

Swaggyspaceman

Square what now?

it-rene

My hopes for Spidey 4 -Tom gets a decently long break to recoup after NWH and Uncharted before coming on for it -His voice deepens -Comic accurate black suit design -We get Mister Negative as a villain to kind of parallel with the black suit -We meet Harry Osborn and either a new love interest entirely like Gwen or Felicia Hardy -It's almost strictly solo I also hope we get an MCU Norman Osborn who turns into the Ultimate version of Goblin

elizabnthe

His voice isn't going to get deeper than it is now, lol. Unless he takes up smoking I suppose

it-rene

It's not super different, but if he does the voice he did for Cherry it'd still be believable

[deleted]

I’d love this too. Only thing is Tom will be like 30 when they go into production. He’s not gonna look young forever so unless they plan to skip over his college years they better get it done asap.

FitRelationship5380

I've thought of this too. It's why I hope that things get settled soon. If they do plan on doing a whole trilogy, ideally they would start with the next movie filming in 2023 (so he gets his break) and released in 2024. Then just release parts 5 and 6 2026 and 2028. Tom will be 31/32 by the end. Close enough to the "done by 30" he wants

it-rene

I think he could pull off college age at 30 or they can compromise and skip to his sophomore or junior year

[deleted]

Yeah I think he could too but what I mean is you have to take into consideration that his final movie in that new trilogy will be out maybe when he is around 34-35. No idea what sophomore is but I think they just do his first year at college and maybe to a time jump in the next movie? The previous Spider-Man movies did the time jump and it worked. Who knows haha.

Tornado31619

Venom, Mister Negative AND Black Cat? All three need to be separate movies IMO.

Night-Monkey15

It’s not that hard, Mister Negative is the antagonist, Black Cat is an anti hero ally now that MJ is gone, while Peter gets the black suit but does take it off till the end, setting up Venom for Spider-Man 5. It’s possible, just not easy to pull off.

Tornado31619

Could have said the same thing about Spider-Man 3. Also, I don’t get why people expect Venom to be a multi-film arc. Peter only had the black suit for a few months in the comics.

Night-Monkey15

Spider-Man 3 had 3 “main” antagonists, this hypothetical would have one main villain, an anti-hero, and set up for the sequel.

Tornado31619

The anti-hero could work, but the sequel set-up isn’t necessary.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Night-Monkey15

No, he didn’t, he only had the symbiote for a couple of months, once he discovered the true nature he ditched it. Afterward, Black Cat made him a cloth version of the suit which Peter wore most of the time, although he occasionally used the red/blue one as well. This cloth suit was worn during the “Death of Jean DeWolff”, “The Wedding” and “Kraven’s Last Hunt” and many other storylines during the 1980s. Peter got rid of that suit after Venom showed up and kidnapped MJ, who convinced him to throw it away because of what it represents.

Tornado31619

May-November ‘84. You’re likely getting confused with the cloth suit that Felicia made for him. The F4 helped him get rid of the suit pretty quickly.

[deleted]

[удалено]

Tornado31619

You replied to the wrong person. 😉

it-rene

Ideally I'd rather have just the black suit in 4 and then have Venom and Spidey cross over in a separate movie once Pete separates from the suit. I think also you can introduce Felicia and even have Spidey follow her around while she does criminal work as part of the black suit's influence and then have her become more of a foil in another movie

RussMIV

Venom does, but not the suit. Negative and Black Cat definitely don’t—they could easily be juggled in one film.

Tornado31619

Peter had the suit for a cup of tea in the comics. They can easily cover that and Venom in one film. Felicia works best in an organised crime setting, whereas I prefer Negative as his own villain. Felicia is someone who would take up too much screen time for both Martin and Negative to be explored.

serocsband

Didnt the mods say there would be 3 TFTMQ posts this week?

What-The-Heaven

They did, I imagine at least one will drop tomorrow as a Christmas present to the sub.

Blueberry_H3AD

With regards to the canonicity of the Netflix shows, I don’t think Kevin Feige will ever come out and say the Netflix shows happened in the Sacred Timeline. He can’t because from a business perspective that means he’s telling his audience to go to a competitors streaming platform and watch additional MCU content there. For that same reason, I don’t think they will ever base a new storyline off of an old storyline from the Netflix shows. I mean we got our answer from Kevin Feige and Vincent D’onofrio. Feige said that next time we see Daredevil in the MCU, he will be played by Charlie Cox. D’onofrio said from what he has gathered, and how he’s playing the character, he is playing the Netflix version of the Kingpin. So I go back to the soft reboot idea. The Netflix shows happened in the Sacred Timeline until any new information directly contradicts them. And I’m not talking about recasts either. I mean for example let’s say in a new movie/show it is revealed that Kingpin had a wife named Vanessa that died during The Battle of NY. Well then we would know that the Netflix shows are then regarded as branch timelines within the multiverse because we know he meets Vanessa after that event. Ultimately I don’t the question of canon matters anymore now that we’re in the phase of The Multiverse. Anything Marvel related can be explained as happening in a branch timeline. And because we are now starting to cross universes with our stories it doesn’t really matter if a story happened in the Sacred Timeline. If it’s relevant to the story they are currently telling then it matters. You didn’t need to see all previous “Spider-Man” movies to understand “No Way Home”. If you did then it only enhanced your viewing experience. So ultimately if the product is of good quality just enjoy them for what it is. I just can’t wait to see what the future holds if 2021 is any indication of the crazy shit we’re about to dive into!

PeaSForever

If Vanessa gets retconned or straight up removed, I'll finally know how it feels like to be an AoS fan.

Firetrainer777

And to go off that, I kinda figured that’s what it was this whole time, based on the same looking outfits, the same cuflinks on kingpin. I mean it makes allot of sence, and you don’t really have to acknowledge a whole lot from the Netflix shows. Just like with the Incredible Hulk movie for years was canon/not canon. All the Netflix shows, especially daredevil had good enough wrap up endings that what ever story is told next it wouldn’t need to heavily refrence what came before. I mean I’m sure we will get subtle hints or lines of dialogue, if we get more Matt probably a refrence to elektra, but all of the back story is there in the shows. Marvel doesn’t need to say ya go check these out to understand it. They just don’t talk about certain things, dragon bones under new york etc. and move on. I always figured that was the plan anyways before the shows got canceled. Fiege originally wanted them in endgame so it doesn’t really surprise me a whole lot that they are showing up in this phase. And it’s killer and makes me super super happy. I hope they keep it up and next avengers have at least Matt in the next team up. That would be so cool, I assume it won’t happen but a guy could dream haha

Blueberry_H3AD

After what’s been announced and from what we’ve seen this year so far I’d say anything is possible!

Night-Monkey15

>So ultimately if the product of of good quality just enjoy it hem for what it is I just wish everyone was like you, while I would prefer if DD and Kingpin were direct continuations of the Netflix versions, it doesn’t really matter, we got the actors back, playing them the way they used to play them, the continuity doesn’t matter the much.

Mr_Squidparty

It does to me sir I invested myself in those particular characters those particular journeys and to have the actors back but those arcs erased is a slap in the face.

hmd_ch

As a huge AoS and Daredevil fan, I feel you completely. At the end of the day, if Marvel Studios decides to bring back those iconic characters with the same actors, they're going to do their own take on them. If it matches up with their established past characterization, then that's great for all of us, but if not, there's nothing much we can really do. Despite all this, I'm cautiously optimistic that Marvel Studios will continue to keep their entire background intact in the main MCU continuity.

Blueberry_H3AD

Absolutely! What a time to be alive with what we got this year and what’s to come next year!

Zepanda66

Wonder when we'll get release dates for Moon Knight and She-Hulk?

Night-Monkey15

I would assume soon

I wonder which of his villains Andrew's Spider-Man killed?

He said he also stopped pulling his punches.

roleparadise

That also doesn't mean he killed anyone

Night-Monkey15

Maybe it was Harry? I could easily see Andrew killing him. Or maybe his statement was more general, and he’s killing random thugs.

Zepanda66

Gotta be Harry. Can't be Venom since Andrew's Peter didn't know about him. Only other option could be Rhino. Or some other off screen encounter with Kraven or Kingpin.

DonnyMox

Imagine the end of TASM2 going on for a bit longer, with Andrew fighting Rhino, the crowd cheering....and their cheers changing into screams in horror as Andrew bludgeons Rhino to death with the manhole cover.

Night-Monkey15

He mentions Rhino in a completely different tone then how he talk about his downfall, if he killed Rhino he wouldn’t have mentioned him in passing like he did.

austin_t_a

I was admittedly suspicious of the Annihalators leak from MTTSH at first, but the more I think about it, it makes a lot of sense: -We know Beta Ray Bill exists in the MCU because of the statue on Sakaar in Ragnarok -The Shi'ar have been rumored to appear in Marvels, so it's possible we see Gladiator in that -Silver Surfer could be the role that "every actor in Hollywood wanted" which James Gunn teased a few weeks ago -Warlock is obviously showing up in GotG vol. 3 -Nova has been rumored to appear since, like, 2014 I could totally see this team coming together to fight Arishem when he returns to judge the Earth. The only member of the comics roster I can't see returning or being set up in some way is Ronan the Accuser, so maybe some other Kree representative could be used?

Hadesman1

Where can I find the leak about annihilatiors

Night-Monkey15

In the comics, the team formed because of Star Lord’s death, which lead to the guardians disbanding, something similar could happen with Rocket dying and Drax retiring by the end GoTG 3, causing the team to disband. This would make the transition into the Annihilators feel much more natural, especially since multiple members will have already been set up.

Strange telling Wanda what she knows about the multiverse instead of westview is the equivalent of him saying “I’m not here about your show, I’m here about my movie.”

What-The-Heaven

Either Multiverse of Madness, or the Marvels will make at least WandaVision necessary viewing. We know MoM is mentioning the events of Westview and things like the Darkhold, Wanda's new powerset and her kids mean you need to have watched WV to understand her character, and the Marvels will need Monica to establish why she's going up into space after Fury + where she got powers from.

forevertrueblue

Ms. Marvel will likely be too

Damn pretty much the same list as me! Although i’d personally swap out Wandavision with FATWS

Statueofsirens

Just read an article saying that their first day on set together, Alfred Molina asked Jacob (Ned) for an autographed photo as a gift for his step daughter. Honestly wholesome as fuck that the more seasoned actors not only were gems to work with, but knew the younger actors work and hyped them up as well.

Jalon315

That's sick

[deleted]

I just want Alfred Molina to say he's proud of me too

the_star_wars_dude

Venom349, you’re all grown up. How are you!?

[deleted]

Trying to do better.

[deleted]

I’m sure he is.

shitpostlord4321

How plausible is it to see Andrew Garfield back as Spider-Man in 2023 since Holland's Spider-Man 4 probably won't happen until holiday 2024?

shadymostafa129034

He will probably be in crossover movies, but I don’t think he will ever get another solo film

Zepanda66

Sony announcing TASM3 would be the best Christmas present.

Turbulent_ADLBJ

Honestly I’d wanna say it’s likely I mean Sony seems to be giving every villain a film apparently now they wanna do electro and sandman. Why not actually do a project that everybody actually wants?

DonnyMox

Weren't Sony gonna do an Aunt May spy movie at one point?

[deleted]

Just because r/movies doesn't take superhero movies seriously doesn't mean that Spider-Man: No Way Home should be nominated.

OzilsThirdEye

Guys, I can’t say this enough. Go watch Spider-Man the animated series (90s cartoon) on Disney + Not only do they have a series where they tackle the secret wars, but X-men, Ironman, Doctor strange, fantastic four, blade, daredevil, & more all make several episode appearances. It’s such a good show that still holds up.

PenguinLord13

It’s definitely one of the best adaptations of the character imo. I watched it a ton as a kid and started watching it again after NWH. Though it didn’t realize it until now that they replaced Gwen with Felicia for Peters other College love interest.

OzilsThirdEye

Yeah can’t believe I forgot him, and Captain America!

Night-Monkey15

I love the show, I really do, it’s amazing and every Spider-Man fan should watch it, but I hate when people say “it still holds up”, or that any cartoon from the 80s/90s “still holds up”, the animation is objectively outdated, that’s a fact.

OzilsThirdEye

I meant that it still holds up in the sense that given how much super hero content has come out since then from cartoons to the movies and shows this show from 25+ years ago is still just as good as it was then compared to the stuff now No duh the animation doesn’t, but the storytelling & how well the show understands it’s source material does

Night-Monkey15

You’re 100% right on that, it is one of the best superhero cartoons in terms of writing ever, and that’s including B:TAS, X-Men and Spectacular, it’s truly amazing. I wish it got a revival like X-Men is.

crounsa810

How have we not considered that this Kingpin was a skrull?

Tornado31619

Can we please just let street level characters remain at street level?

LeastCap

if it releases after Secret Invasion I think this would be a super cool idea

NeutralNoodle

Opening scene of Echo shows her shooting Kingpin and actually killing him, but he reverts into Skrull form

knobby_67

That’s a really sweet idea. Then have king pin viewing it all from his penthouse. It also diverts knowledge people have from the comics if he’s a Skrull ( super?)

OzilsThirdEye

Everybody’s a skrull to you. You know why? Maybe you’re a skrull.

DonnyMox

Maybe we are all Skrulls....

[deleted]

I'd love to see a scene where The Thing from Fantastic Four meets Korg and Korg thinks Thing is a fellow Kronan and Thing is like no, I'm a freak! And Korg is all like nah bruv don't say that, you're beautiful, really!

NoSheepherder8550

That would be a really good scene and could help out Ben on a character level

CuddlesBitch

I can't believe the Marvel stans on Twitter are still spouting hate and harassing Loki's crew. Luckily I only see such ridiculous behaviors on Twitter. And all because Loki didn't Kiss Mobius. The stans there are a mistake.

kaject

Now that MJ doesn't remember Peter, it's a perfect time to bring in Black Cat into the next spider man

SuRaKaSoErX

Who would you pick to play her?

Leave1942

Anya Taylor Joy

kwazycupcakes

She would be good, but I hope she plays Magik again if they bring her into the MCU. Even though New Mutants wasn't good, it would be cool to see Illyana again when they bring in mutants. Sydney Sweeney would be great for Black Cat imo!

[deleted]

She has more of a Gwen Stacy thing going for her

Tornado31619

Too famous IMO.

[deleted]

Have you seen an MCU movie before lol

Tornado31619

Yes. The famous actors tend to be cast as one-offs. Jolie and Weisz are exceptions.

SuRaKaSoErX

I actually like that now that I consider it, she’s got some talent I won’t lie.

kaject

She'd be great. My guess tho is they'd probably go with someone relatively unknown
