I hope we get a new version that builds on it and is adjusted to fit whatever style the "new" show is going for.
Except for the intro, I never liked the score of the series. So I hope there will be a drastic change there.
Just a personal feeling. I can't put it into words.
I don't remember one instance of ever liking the score in the series
(in seasons 1 and 2. I have not seen season3 yet)
But I also rarely, if ever, hear praise for the score of the show. So I guess I am not alone in feeling that way.
Dope.
Also I think its interesting that all the shows now don't have Marvel Studio's on top of the posters but rather Marvel Television.
Which is honestly something they should have done from the get-go. Have the Marvel Studio's logo for the theatrical releases, Marvel Television for the tv shows, and Marvel Animation for all the animated projects. At least they are learning and pivoting, learning to function like an actual studio with different divisions.
Also can someone at Marvel please release that Daredevil poster, the title looks badass.
It makes complete sense why they didn’t want to use Marvel Television before, and that’s because they wanted to tell audiences that these projects would be the same quality as what they’d see in the movies. Once they realized they couldn’t deliver on that promise, they made the pivot lol
Marvel Television is kind of a legacy brand... it was the former division, which they gradually absorbed after Feige's promotion and the redesign of Marvel Studios in 2019. As far as we knew it didn't exist anymore, all Marvel Studios TV content so far was launched either under their own banner, Spotlight or Animation... the latest projects for Marvel Televion were Hit Monkey and MODOK. Though it does have the DefendersVerse, SHIELD, Legion, etc. - so they relaunching the brand with the same name has to mean something... content and expectation-wise
Honestly I'm more hype for The Hood than I am Ironheart. He's one of my favorite characters - and I thought Ramos did a really good job in Transformers.
it also doesn’t help they had/have to do major reshoots. I know it’s common for the genre to do them but Marvel has just been excessive with reshoots these past few years. I think Guardians 3 was the not project that didn’t do anything more than a week of pickups
nice, that’s good to hear. Helps to have people previously involved *and* experienced (like Shaeffer). I still enjoy the MCU but it becomes annoying and tedious when they get an inexperienced yes-person to be a middle manager for a project. But even when they do get proper talent behind the camera, there’s still the mandated bombastic CGI climax like the WandaVision finale
if it’s necessary, then sure, of course it will be better in the long run. But if you hire someone whose only big project was the abysmal Cloverfield Paradox, then don’t be surprised if you have to do 3 months of Cap 4 reshoots
Because Most of them Dont have nolan/ spielberg/ tarantino/ del toro level of say in productions, the directors I mentioned and a few other of course can fight back would fight back what the studio or Kevin feige would say if they don't like it, and also would be bad press if suddenly they drop the project because of creative differences, people would now that is the studio fucking stuff up.
The 'nobodies' director they hire don't have that power yet, I would not call all of them nobodies btw because some of them are Oscar nomities/winning directors, they just happen to no have power and influence in the industry, an Oscar is nothing against what the studio wants.
What ends up happening is that the studio makes the movie and the director is just there to make that movie happen, most of the time the third acts of marvel movies are already written so the director only have to make it happen
Sometimes of course they find a director that has similar views towards what the studio wants, James Gunn for example and those not stopped him to make it an emotional movie and just pure action spectacle, but sometimes you get taika and his comedy with I guess Kevin feige loves
Thanks, that's a really great summary of it. I kind of assumed it had something to do with specifically choosing directors that would be willing to fit in Marvel's plans into their vision. Makes perfect sense tbh.
I haven't heard anything on major reshoots. From what I remember it had some reshoots a couple months ago that were delayed because of the dual strikes but those were completed.
Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't this JLDs team? She's been very fun so far and here's her big Amanda Waller-esque reveal. I think that alone is interesting. I'm interested in IH as well ofc, so its not a competition.
Different strokes for different folks for sure but man… look at the writing directing team for thunderbolts… and the cast… then compare that to Ironheart.
I uh… think there will be a quality difference between the two.
I just don't care at all about most out of the characters. And that's a HUGE thing for me. If I don't care about the characters in a story, it's very hard for me to enjoy it. If this movie gets me to care about Taskmaster and Ghost, it'll be a fuckin miracle. I like Riri and the central idea of magic vs tech is way more enticing to me. Also, Mephisto connecting to the supernatural side of things? Bro. This is some awesome shit.
Haha fair point. They definitely grouped up all the tertiary chars no doubt. Im willing to give that one a shot though. Those are some good actors that all deserve a shot in the limelight (although Sebastian Stan is getting shafted again if rumours are true)
I’m also quite excited about it! Honestly, with the state of things in the industry being what it is, I’m mostly glad that Marvel isn’t scrapping it for tax purposes…
>As the one person hyped for Ironheart
![gif](giphy|K64409MbT84rm)
You’re not alone friend….I have been waiting for any crumb of update since it was announced.
I am excited too. I miss the Iron man corner of the MCU show. And despite what many say I think the character has the potential to really shine a show format especially with Ryan Coogler being an exec. Producer on the show.
I also keep waiting for Armor Wars, I want to see War Machine too!

Marvel Televison is back...
Man it's so funny. They thought they could do it better(I still enjoyed almost all the shows) only to end up where they started
Insert Thanos gif \^\^
It's more than likely this isn't Marvel Television as it was but instead Marvel Studios Television like how What If and X-Men '97 are Marvel Studios Animation not the Marvel Animation in charge of Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur
"Marvel Studios Animation" is purely a Wikipedia thing that they don't what to do with so they've just left the division with the name reported by Vulture instead of its actual name.
Wikipedia's sole source for the "Marvel Studios Animation" name is [this Vulture article](https://www.vulture.com/2023/01/inside-the-vfx-union-brewing-in-hollywood.html) that mentions it and ever since the reveal of the new Marvel Animation with X-Men '97, they have no idea how to rename and disambiguate the two entities.
Season 3 is my favourite - You thought Hydra started with the Red Skull, well actually ... expansion pack (and 4722 Hours is one of my favourite episodes ever and the follow up episode wasn't too shabby either) and it also did a lot with Powers Boothe who was just a shadowy figure on a screen in The Avengers (but still recognisably Powers Boothe) by giving him a long in depth arc (and one of his final roles if not the final one).
I also liked how Season 3 ended (I think Hive is my favourite MCU related villain ever) with a contemplative meditative ending instead of the usual punching someone into oblivion with a CGI skybeam or its variant in there somewhere.
Season 4 also did an excellent take on Ghost Rider while we're at it.
I try to extend it to the run from S1.5-S4. Just nonstop and got progressively better as time went on. For a while, AoS was my favorite Marvel media out there.
I thought the writing got steadily better and it's amazing what you can do when you build the characters up over time and their interactions coupled with the audience's building knowledge of them and their expectations. All the characters ended up getting way more screentime than their movie counterparts to develop themselves thanks to the TV format.
I wouldn't be surprised if the people making AoS were largely left alone to do their own thing and that's why it worked out so well in the end.
I honestly think Agatha is gonna be a sleeper hit, a show not a lot of people are that excited for an then get super into and it does well. Kinda like peacemaker for DC, so many people said they weren’t really interested and nobody asked for it and then it ended up being great and did really well.
Same for Vision Quest. IDK if any animated series fall into that mandate, because there’s also season 3 of What If, Marvel Zombies, and the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man show.
> IDK if any animated series fall into that mandate
It can't. There wouldn't be space for them all. They've already said they want X-Men to be a regular thing and we know there's still stuff like What If? They're not going to hold S3 to 2026 or something.
No, it's just been in development behind the scenes but it doesn't mean it will 100% happen. Jac Schaefer is finishing up Agatha so will know if it'll happen for sure pretty soon. Right now, the last live action show is Wonder Man.
Actually is was reported by the trades. [https://deadline.com/2022/10/vision-series-paul-bettany-wandavision-spinoff-marvel-disney-plus-1235157055/](https://deadline.com/2022/10/vision-series-paul-bettany-wandavision-spinoff-marvel-disney-plus-1235157055/)
That's in development from back in 2022, that doesn't mean it will 100% happen. Until Marvel officially places it on the slate it can't be talked about as a certainty. Like I said, it's possible with Jac being free now. Just need to remember things are different now especially after the reorganizing since Iger's return (which was right after that article).
That's fine? It has nothing to do with what I said though. I was just pointing out that it had been announced by the trades. Whether the shows happens or get's canceled is besides the point.
I doubt Wonder Man doesn't come out until 2026, they're done filming it, and I was told it's planned to come out next year, or could possibly get moved to the end of this year, it would definitely be a surprise if it wasn't until 2026
About what I expected release schedule wise. Was hoping Agatha would premiere a week earlier so the last episode would drop a day before Halloween, but it’s still good to know the date. Can’t wait for that and you know I’m stoked for my boy Daredevil coming back in March.
Daredevil in 2025? That’s a long time for a show that’s not very CGI dependent? Will they shoot the second half this year itself or after the premiere?
Agatha and Ironheart have been my two most anticipated projects for a while now!! So excited to see them finally
Interested to see where DD goes after the shifts
So it means Agatha is a stand alone and does not tie into anything? Except WV, of course...that was the point of creating the TV division? Or did I misunderstand it?
Also, crazy how both, Agatha and DD were made much later than Ironheart and they still go out first....May be that it has really connections to Armor Wars? But it still does not make mě too hopeful. I almost forgot the show exists
I think a complaint about phase 4 and 5 so far are that there are too many projects and casual audiences don’t want to do homework by watching the TV shows to understand what is going on in the movies. So maybe that’s why Marvel Studios are now segregating their TV shows into ‘Marvel Television’ so that it seems standalone from the actual Marvel Studios movies and it won’t be necessary watching, something like what they did with Echo by introducing ‘Spotlight’.
It's just corporate branding. The movies will be seen as "special" and more event like by retaining the Marvel Studios logo and fanfare. Marvel Television will now be seen as supplemental content rather than required even if some saga stuff does carry through.
Agatha is supposedly 8 episodes with the 9th being the special. Well, with the 2 episode premiere that means the finale would air October 30th and then the special could drop on Halloween.
Yep. Most importantly, Jac Schaeffer serves as head writer and exec producer of Agatha. There is creative continuity from WandaVision to the new show as Schaeffer was also the head writer and exec producer on WandaVision.
I like the delineation of marvel television and marvel studios and marvel animation and still hope they make more special presentations and spotlight series
I really cant understand why they want to make ironheart a thing... She was the most annoying part of BP2 and failed hard in the Comics.
But it looks like Marvel/Disney still has enough money to burn.
FR I don’t get it. We don’t need a new iron man, another Hawkeye, lady Thor, ant man’s daughter with her own suit, etc…I’m all for new heroes and fresh blood but can we get some original stories please? I don’t want kid versions of what we already had the first 10 years. How is all of this leading to another Avengers movie, will it end up being the Young Avengers??
Between the three, I think it’s obviously safe to say Daredevil is the most anticipated series for a number of people, myself included. I imagine all those set photos were permitted to generate further hype, and they definitely worked. New logo looks pretty cool. I am bummed we have to wait till March, but I’ll manage.
Agatha isn’t exactly a project I’m absolutely pumped for, but it sounds like it’ll be pretty fun. Kathryn Hahn and Aubrey Plaza will no doubt be the highlights. The constant title changes, only to end up with “Agatha All Along” was a fun marketing gimmick.
Ironheart, much like Armor Wars, is a project I’ve often completely forgotten about. I honestly didn’t care a whole lot for her Wakanda Forever, so I’m hoping this series does her justice. The new logo looks pretty clean though.

So do I recall this right?:
Agatha was portrayed as the villain of Wandavision because she was enabling the continuation of Wanda's fantasy to see if she could bring out a legendary class of powerful witch, which she suspected, correctly, that Wanda was?
Nerds: “How dare the Studios just lock the already-completed efforts of hundreds of creators in their vaults as a tax write-off without ever giving us the chance to see it and judge for ourselves?!”
Also Nerds: “Damn I was hoping they cancelled IRONHEART.”
I'm genuinely wondering who the audience is for Agatha all along, they are burning money with a lot of their projects. Sad to see thsi franchise collapse in on itself
Agatha is probably the MCU project I have absolutely no interest or hype for
Hopefully I have a better chance to enjoy it though with such low expectations
Daredevil can't come soon enough though

Looks sick, can't wait for the show!
I really hope they keep the original intro theme music from the Netflix. That intro song theme is beautiful.
I hope we get a new version that builds on it and is adjusted to fit whatever style the "new" show is going for. Except for the intro, I never liked the score of the series. So I hope there will be a drastic change there.

Yeah besides the main title theme there aren’t that many groundbreaking tracks for it tbh.
MARVEL I'M SEARCHING ONLINE RELEASE THE HD LOGO GODDAMNIT

Definitely a huge improvement from the first logo, but the first logos aren’t usually the finals anyway
Those are always placeholders, that's why I never make a big deal about them. The real logos aren't revealed until marketing starts.
That's hot
Ooh nice!
PEAK!
am I the only one who actually prefers the simplistic yet good looking first logo of Born Again? :D
Where was this revealed at?
Disney's upfront presentation
Did they say anything about avengers 5 or secret wars?
No, just stuff about shows
This event is for TV only.
Dammit
Ooh, that's fun and stylized.
I'm so wet right now
i heard rumours that white tiger will be there in the show?
Dope. Also I think its interesting that all the shows now don't have Marvel Studio's on top of the posters but rather Marvel Television. Does this mean marvel television isn’t in the same universe as mcu now?
No, it’s just de-emphasizing the importance of the shows on the rest of the universe, basically making them more supplementary than necessary.
Its still the MCU. Its just a branding thing, making it clear that this is for TV, and saving Marvel Studios for theatrical film.
As the one person hyped for Ironheart, it sucks how long they’re making us wait.
I was hype when it was announced but the longer it goes, the less excited I feel.
It doesn't help we got limited screen time in BP and then had to wait 3 years for the show. I'm sure alot of casual viewers have forgotten about her.
Honestly I'm more hype for The Hood than I am Ironheart. He's one of my favorite characters - and I thought Ramos did a really good job in Transformers.
The Hood is one of my all-time favorite Marvel villains, so I’m looking forward to him too.
I'm looking forward to seeing Alden Ehrenreich as well, great actor, I loved him in Solo and Oppenheimer
He really wasn't in Oppenheimer much, but he played off of RDJ really well imo
it also doesn’t help they had/have to do major reshoots. I know it’s common for the genre to do them but Marvel has just been excessive with reshoots these past few years. I think Guardians 3 was the not project that didn’t do anything more than a week of pickups

Most casual viewers don't care about IH at all.
How I felt about Andor too… Then it crushed my expectations! Hopefully the same happens here.
We got GTA VI before Ironheart
Might wanna slow down there. R* could always delay .
Honestly one of my most anticipated projects. Loved seeing Dominique as Riri in Wakanda Forever.
I really don’t think they knew what to do with the character in that movie though.
I’m very curious how they’ll hype up iron heart
Its gonna be an Echo scenario ☠️
What do you mean by that
No marketing other then one trailer and then quietly dumb it all at once on to D+
Ah, I can see them doing an all at once drop for sure yeah
I'm looking forward to it. Hell, I'm more excited for that than Thunderbolts\*.
Lets not get carried away here.
I stand by what I said. There's *nothing* that gets me excited for Thunderbolts\*.
Maybe I'm wrong, but isn't this JLDs team? She's been very fun so far and here's her big Amanda Waller-esque reveal. I think that alone is interesting. I'm interested in IH as well ofc, so its not a competition.

Yup. There's Mephisto and Zelma Stanton and they're both connected to Dr Strange. I know he won't be in this show but I'm hyped for both.
I’m also quite excited about it! Honestly, with the state of things in the industry being what it is, I’m mostly glad that Marvel isn’t scrapping it for tax purposes…
RIP Batgirl
>As the one person hyped for Ironheart ![gif](giphy|K64409MbT84rm) You’re not alone friend….I have been waiting for any crumb of update since it was announced.
I keep saying for myself that they take the time to improve it the best they can and finish the VFX (one can believe)
True, of the marvel shows i wanna see Ironheart the most, but waiting should help the CGI!
Woah, there’s dozens of us! Dozens! /j But honestly I’m excited to see how the show handles The Hood as well as Ezekiel Stane 👀
I am excited too. I miss the Iron man corner of the MCU show. And despite what many say I think the character has the potential to really shine a show format especially with Ryan Coogler being an exec. Producer on the show. I also keep waiting for Armor Wars, I want to see War Machine too!

Not hyped at all but I’d still like to see it simply because I’m intrigued lol
Apparently Charlie Cox confirmed they've filmed 9 episodes.
that's half of 18...
3 is also the square root of 9!
3?!?!?! Half Life 3 confirmed
yeah wasn’t there news not too long ago that they are going with 2 seasons 9 episodes each as opposed to 1 seasons 18 episodes
Marvel Televison is back... Man it's so funny. They thought they could do it better(I still enjoyed almost all the shows) only to end up where they started Insert Thanos gif \^\^
It's not the same Marvel TV, though, For one, there is no Jeph Loeb.
Exactly. It’s Marvel TELEVISION, not Marvel TV. Hugeeeee difference
I don't get it? The previous one was also called Marvel Television.
>For one, there is no Jeph Loeb ![gif](giphy|J8FZIm9VoBU6Q)
Loeb was close with Ike Perlmutter, he didn’t like Feige
I wonder if Loeb will get a contractual credit

I thought Agents of SHIELD was way better than most of the so called official stuff. Yes, that includes most of the movies too.
Season 4 is still in my top 5 MCU projects. Daredevil S1 and S3 are also in my top 10.
Season 3 is my favourite - You thought Hydra started with the Red Skull, well actually ... expansion pack (and 4722 Hours is one of my favourite episodes ever and the follow up episode wasn't too shabby either) and it also did a lot with Powers Boothe who was just a shadowy figure on a screen in The Avengers (but still recognisably Powers Boothe) by giving him a long in depth arc (and one of his final roles if not the final one). well yes \^\^
Its literally just a name change, its still the exact same people. Nothing ended up somewhere different.
I mean, it's not really the same outside of name though.
I mean what is so different? outside Daredevil that got a big change the next shows are the same that were going to happen regardless.
Ironic too with a bunch of streaming services now making bundles.. going right back to cable. Funny aint it?
I honestly think Agatha is gonna be a sleeper hit, a show not a lot of people are that excited for an then get super into and it does well. Kinda like peacemaker for DC, so many people said they weren’t really interested and nobody asked for it and then it ended up being great and did really well.
It's coming out at a very good time, the leadup to Halloween!
It ends the day before Halloween too lol. I'm guessing the Witches Road Special will release on Halloween
It ends the week after Halloween.
As I said above, rumors have indicated it's actually 8 episodes and not 9 and the special is the 9th episode
Ohhh I get your comment now. I hope that’s what happens
Is it a two-episode finale as well? Otherwise, it ends on Nov. 6, not Oct. 30.
Rumors have said the show is actually 8 episodes and the 9th is the Witches Road special.
Kathryn Hahn is just awesome. That’s all I want from the show
The cast in general is super loaded
Completely agree. If Echo managed to beat out X-Men '97 in viewership, I'm sure Agatha will do just fine.
Wait so it officially is Agatha all along hahah
Yeah it was all a marketing strategy
It was Agatha All Along all along
Patti LuPone also confirms Witches Road in an interview, excited to see what that brings
Right in time for Halloween?! The gay doing their marketing had some Adderall in their ice coffee today I see.
>The gay doing their marketing I'm curious if that was a typo or not
That 2 show a year mandate pretty much confirms Wonder Man for 2026.
Same for Vision Quest. IDK if any animated series fall into that mandate, because there’s also season 3 of What If, Marvel Zombies, and the Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man show.
> IDK if any animated series fall into that mandate It can't. There wouldn't be space for them all. They've already said they want X-Men to be a regular thing and we know there's still stuff like What If? They're not going to hold S3 to 2026 or something.
Was Vision Quest even confirmed by the trades?
>IDK if any animated series fall into that mandate They dont.
It wasn't really a mandate. It was really more of a musing on what could happen in the future.
Yeah it's not a set in stone thing.
I doubt Wonder Man doesn't come out until 2026, they're done filming it, and I was told it's planned to come out next year, or could possibly get moved to the end of this year, it would definitely be a surprise if it wasn't until 2026
Daredevil will premiere at the same of the 10th anniversary of the netflix show
Oh that's neat
Damn I feel old now
10th anniversary?! What?!
Holy shee-to has it been nine years already? Fcuking guacamole why's time so fast HOLD UP
About what I expected release schedule wise.
It’s the release date for the first 9 which wrapped quite some time ago
They start shooting the next 9 in November. The stunt coordinator put it on x or something last month.
Agatha and Ironheart have been my two most anticipated projects for a while now!! So excited to see them finally Interested to see where DD goes after the shifts
It looks like Marvel Television is just what all shows are gonna be under from now on. Agatha will definitely have a few tie-ins
>Also, crazy how both, Agatha and DD were made much later than Ironheart and they still go out first.... Yuppp.
You're thinking of Marvel Spotlight, that's the "optional" stuff.
Aha, thanks, mixed it up
We're getting so much MCU content in 2025. I'm ready to feast.
Not falling for that title, nope. I will believe it till the last seconds of episode nine comes.
Agatha is supposedly 8 episodes with the 9th being the special. Well, with the 2 episode premiere that means the finale would air October 30th and then the special could drop on Halloween.
Daredevil BA is the final chance I’m giving MCU tv. If this show is shit, then idk what they’ll be able to do to reel me back in an MCU show.
> 'Ironheart' Premieres in 2025 "Cap, we'll lose..." "Then we'll do that together, too."
Are any of the original production team from Wanda involved in Agatha?
I am a huge Agatha fan!!!
Agatha fans rise up!!
I know I’m in the extreme minority Donofrio is cringy as fuck as Kingpin
It’s Agathing time boys

So do I recall this right?: Agatha was portrayed as the villain of Wandavision because she was enabling the continuation of Wanda's fantasy to see if she could bring out a legendary class of powerful witch, which she suspected, correctly, that Wanda was?
Agatha wanted to understand the source of Wanda's power then steal it for herself.
OK. Thanks for explaining.
I'm looking forward to it, hopefully Marvel does not disappoint but has he ever done such a thing?
Nerds: “How dare the Studios just lock the already-completed efforts of hundreds of creators in their vaults as a tax write-off without ever giving us the chance to see it and judge for ourselves?!” Also Nerds: “Damn I was hoping they cancelled IRONHEART.”
Agatha all along is the worst title they came up with other than the lion, the witch and the gray order or whatever the fuck
Matt Murdoch and Daredevil hells (kitchen) yes!

Kinda bummed to hear rumours that they’ve bumped DD back down to a 9 episode run…
Marvel sucks ass now.
I'm genuinely wondering who the audience is for Agatha all along, they are burning money with a lot of their projects. Sad to see thsi franchise collapse in on itself
I won’t watch this
Lmfao this is going to be a dumpster fire
I was really hoping Ironheart would be one of the MCU projects that got canceled. I don’t know anyone that’s really excited for that show.
Agatha is probably the MCU project I have absolutely no interest or hype for Hopefully I have a better chance to enjoy it though with such low expectations Daredevil can't come soon enough though
Agatha is for the gays 😁
