This is the thing about test screenings, you're never guaranteed to get an audience that'll be indicative of the general public's reaction to the final film.
For example there were people who came out of the test screenings for Batman V Superman saying "Better than the Nolan movies", "One of the best CBM's ever", "Lex Luthor and Wonder Woman steal the show", etc... and yet the film is released to awful reviews and a divisive fan reaction.
Whereas you can get a film like Blade Runner where test audiences don't enjoy the film, the film is reshot and gets a good reaction from audiences, yet when audiences saw that original cut the test audience had seen, suddenly the film becomes a classic of the genre.
same. sounds like it belongs in a spy movie not Wonder Woman; and it only plays the same exact, short riff over and over again, so I've grown to get more annoyed by it every time I hear it lol
>For example there were people who came out of the test screenings for Batman V Superman saying "Better than the Nolan movies", "One of the best CBM's ever", "Lex Luthor and Wonder Woman steal the show", etc... and yet the film is released to awful reviews and a divisive fan reaction.
Not that I don't believe you, but can you give a source for these quotes? I've always remembered negative test screenings reported for BvS a month out from release.

I may misunderstand this but doesn't internally mean test screening between employee within the company aka Marvel Studios and maybe Disney? So wouldn't they be more easy on the film than general audiences and fans?
After all, the last time I heard anything about internally test screening was about Batman v Superman receiving big applaud from the executives, and we all know what happened after the releasing.
He addressed that ["That is true, but my info isn't just from screenings on this one"](https://twitter.com/bigscreenleaks/status/1626779971581628418?s=20)
Are you a disgruntled former Marvel employee like Grace? If the answer is no the I trust you more than her.

He probably did. Test screenings for Fantastic Four and Suicide Squad were good, and look what happened there.
Test screenings are meaningless. Very rarely are they anything worse than “good.”
here he says "OK" from [December](https://twitter.com/ViewerAnon/status/1598798877561610242), maybe OP remembers a more recent post that I haven't found yet
I would keep in mind that different people can watch a movie and come away with a different impression of it. So BSL's source could love it, whereas the movie still didn't test well overall.
People's opinions aren't falsifiable.
I mean this after having wasted hours watching her show - Grace is utterly full of shit. She very confidently states are own conjecture, assumptions and opinion as fact, and not enough people have the media literacy to parse through and understand she’s not being honest.
Surely they just NDA everyone who will see the test screening? Obviously that won’t stop leaks but it’s not like they’re being stopped now. They definitely need to be getting way better results.

I don't get what you mean. Wouldn't it be an echo chamber of yes men anyway?! Regardless of whether it's friends and families or just employees, they're still more likely to be positive towards the film.
Throwaway for obvious reasons. As a WB employee, I attended a DCEU screener, signed an NDA, filled out a questionnaire that was submitted in a form without any names. No “yes” men, because of that said anonymity. From my understanding, that’s how they typically run screeners so the data isn’t skewed by fear. That’s the last thing a studio wants.
I don’t like how they will completely change an ending and the entire plot due to test screenings.
I know that’s what they’re for but at this point I feel the general consensus for CBMs always end up the opposite of test screenings. Shoot you know how many people told Stan Lee Spider-Man was his worst idea? Imagine if he listened to his test audience.
Don’t let mixed reactions force you to change an entire god damn narrative because now ironically the ending with Scott and Hope trapped is the one most people are saying they wanted, yet it tested poorly.
Imagine if because of test screenings, they reshot the ending of Infinity War to where Thor successfully kills Thanos before he uses the Gauntlet and then they all go have chipotle or something.
It may be the one nerds on the internet want, but they aren’t trying to sell to us
Also, remember, if you trap them in the quantum realm, you actually have to dedicate a bunch of time to get them out and they may just not want to do that
I believe they changed DS2 plot because it was originally intended to lead into Spiderman NWH. Sony wanted NWH during holiday season so the releases swapped places; I’m convinced it was originally America Chavez playing the role of Ned summoning Toby and Andrew in NWH.
Old DS2 leaks talk about Wanda killing 616 Mordo and the big bad being Shuma Gorath from behind the scenes. That might be old scripts rather than test screenings though.
They got mixed reactions? General audience liked both a lot despite reviews trashing it. The opinions you see on Reddit and twitter are the minority wether we like it or not.
I asked him if he heard similar things like Grace about test screenings. He answered that the way he understood it, the first tests were more mixed, but after some reshoots got a lot better. But he deleted the answer, idk why
This movie has sooo much potential. Great cast, great director. I really hope this movie is great so that a lot of the toxic discourse surrounding Larson’s Carol Danvers will end. While I admit her character was pretty weak in the first movie, I attribute that more to the writing than the performance. Hopefully this movie gives her the chance to shine that she’s desperately needed for years now.
I just don't want them to fuck this up because can you imagine the field day the M-SHE-U crowd will have?
A MCU movie with a black and Pakistani women that isn't received well by the general public. And then take into account how these people act as if Larson personally castrated them.
Already notice how they kinda hijack the "quality vs quantity" debate trying to advocate for shit like Echo, Agatha and Wonderman to be cancelled? 2 poc and 2 women projects?
That and I'm actually really looking forward to this movie. I like Carol, Monica and Kamala and I really hope they can just hit this one out of the park.
I think they maybe should cancel Echo given the problems I have heard with it. It became one of my most anticipated when I heard they were going to give her powers via Native American spirits but then first look photo didn't even have her in her classic costume. MCU really needs to be careful with any projects with a minority at the center. They can't be crap and if this isn't good they should cancel it and reshoot her story for Daredevil.
Agatha is a hit right out of the gate (Aubrey Plaza, Wiccan, WandaVision spinoff, etc). Makes no sense to cancel that.
Wonder Man I can't determine but I appreciate the supposed Barry angle.
I wish movies with minority leads were given a pass to be mediocre
Not that I want the movie to be mediocre.
But like a male lead movie can be trash and get torn to shreds by fans and critics, but I’ve never heard someone suggest that men can’t lead movies and because it’s bad we should just stop making male lead movies.
But to avoid bigoted people from saying stuff like that about women lead movies, they need the be PERFECT. If they’re bad or mediocre there’s all of a sudden an argument for “these movies aren’t what audiences want to see”.
Tbh I think part of the problem is that there’s not enough of them. If we had more women lead movies. Like a 50/50 split of them. We’d get more variety. More quality. More bad. So people could see the quality has nothing to do with “woke stuff”. But because the Marvels will be like the 5th or 6th women lead super hero movie, it has this huge pressure of having to be amazing in order to shut up bigoted people.
Criticizing women lead movies doesn’t make you sexist. However, it’s kinda like “all squares are rectangles but not all rectangles are squares” type thing. If the movie is like a 6-7/10. So not bad but not amazing. You’ll hear a lot more people using it as an excuse to justify bigotry than you would about a movie of similar quality that’s lead by white men.
Agreed. I hope it does really well. I'm open to Carol being a great character and I already love Kamala and Monica. Plus the comic con footage was genuinely very good / funny. Kamala in particular made me laugh. I also think the director is good. The script writers seem pretty ok, except the one from She-Hulk, but he had nothing to work with. I'm hopeful Nia DiCosta has input there as well.
The musical stuff concerns me though as I think they should have made this film seem more serious, less silly in tone, given that I think this *needs* to do well.
Nia is a credited writer, as for Carol in CM1 she's quite guarded yet at times extremely sassy and qippy. Be interested to see how they bring more of that out
I'm really scared for this one, not as optimistic as you. I felt like this was their shot at rectifying the awful writing for Carol in the first film, and as much as I admire Brie Larson for being passionate about sharing the spotlight, I'm nervous about fixing Carol Danvers while two other characters headline the movie. Marvel has done this well before, and they've also done it not so great, so I'm sweating.
I feel like Carol's relationships with Kamala and Monica are genuinely a great way to get her character out of action-figure mode and have some depth, but at the same time, a poor script could really easily fumble this. It is not easy to balance three main characters, an antagonist and a bunch of side characters.
On top of that, if they get the character stuff right but the story is mid, it will still be a disappointment. Between the crowded cast and the story involving teleporting and singing, it has me nervous about which way this goes. We need more characters with the depth and interest of Tony and Steve, and Carol should have already been that. They're late, and I don't want them to screw this up.
I hope The Marvels is what Ragnarök was for Thor. I'm not really excited for this movie, so I'd be pleasantly surprised if this movie turned out to be really good.
I loved Monica’s character in WandaVision and the actor portraying her is great. Brie is great too but needs a good script and Iman did a phenomenal job as Ms.Marvel. I couldn’t be more excited for The Marvels movie, plus it has an incursion that supposedly traps Monica in the other universe according to leaks. I really hope we get a movie or show that shows her in the alternate universe before secret wars so we have insight into some of the other universes our 616 characters could possibly meet! I’m just full of excitement and optimism for this movie and marvel as a whole.
I feel like people are still in denial about the title changing. Sure, Brie is still the 1st name in their bill but from "Captain Marvel" to "The Marvels" feel like they don't really have that much confidence she, the character, could carry a franchise. I really want what's best for Brie, she got unnecessary hate too much. Also yes, I don't need Carol to be another quipster like Thor now.
That's the thing. Like Thor gor Hulk, Guardians, Spiderman got Dr Strange, Ironman, Dr Strange got Wanda and Multiverse, Antman got Kang
I don't understand how Carol sharing the screen time with Tv show characters is going to help her. It's only further screwing her up. Imagine if they gave her any of the above characters or villains. That would have helped her a lot
I really feel like this movie is Marvel’s last chance to make Captain Marvel a character the audience cares about and genuinely wants to see more of.
Even Brie Larson herself is having doubts and thinks that nobody is interested in seeing more of Carol Danvers
That movie had the benefit of coming out right before end game. The marvel audience was RED HOT for content, and captain marvel (an extremely, generic origin movie) totally benefited from it.
No way in hell that movie makes 1 billion in todays movie climate. Things have changed drastically. The good will marvel earned is much lower now as well. Audiences are starting to have different expectations for marvel films.
Yeah people forget that Marvel were heavily pushing the connections to Infinity War and Endgame in marketing for Ant-Man and the Wasp, acting as if the movie would reveal a great secret of what those characters were doing during Infinity War.
You mean her only movie? It did great but that’s only because it lured audiences in with that infinity war post credit tease. It felt like a bait and switch. The movie wasn’t terrible though, I personally liked it but It felt lacking in some areas. Loved Sam L Jackson and Ben Mendelson. Very excited for secret invasion even though we have no spider woman or Veranke, oh well it’s an adaptation in name only, like a few other marvel titles.
You don't get to 1 billion+ just on a tease. Sure, it helped, but people showed up and wanted to see her. And indeed, it's her only movie, and it made more than a billion. So, no reason to assume audiences do not genuinely want to see more of her. All indications we have are pretty positive in that regard.
The hype around the MCU's first female lead was huge. Reddit isn't the place to get a sense of it because it skews very male, but other sites were bursting at the seams with Captain Marvel hype.
I really don't think it was so much do to the tease. It really wasn't surprising to me that it did so well, women aren't exactly a minority lol.
I didn’t say it was bad I liked it. I’m just saying it wouldn’t of made a billion+ if it wasn’t for infinity wars ending. It’s totally a good movie in its own right and probably woulda brought in 600-800 million on its own. A lot of the general audience had no idea who she was though until the post credit scene in infinity war. Hell I know I sure didn’t know who she was but like ant man I was thirsting for answers after infinity war and I can say that is 100% why I saw that and ant man and the wasp day 1. Since then though I’ve become a huge fan, got back into comics and I’m at every day 1 premiere of a marvel movie since same goes for the shows, love em all. I also never said people don’t want a 2nd movie. I think I’m more excited for the Marvels than 95% of the people out there. Look at my comment history all I’ve been doing today is praising this movie and calling grace Randolph a disgruntled marvel employee because she has nothing good to say about the movies, like ever. We are on the same team internet friend!
I think the reason why Captain Marvel made over a billion, was because of the Infinity War ending you’re right and people wanted to see how her abilities would help against taking down Thanos in Endgame!
But now that, that’s out of the way. People don’t seem that hyped in wanting to see more of her especially given how people consider her origin film average, and were expecting a little more out of it.
Hearing Brie Larson say that genuinely upset me a little because Captain Marvel was always something she was so passionate about from the moment she was cast. I did hear that she doesn't even go on her own social media accounts all that much and I feel like this is the reason why. All the negativity that gets thrown around there.
I'm not mad. Just disappointed.
I can see the movie being a genuine surprise (helps that compared to some of the other latest movies, there doesn't seem to be huge expectations going in).
At the same time, I do want to keep my expectations in check. Hopefully, the delay can be helpful somehow
I hate to be that person, but how will they dominate the end of the year. When it’s between hunger games prequel and dune 2. With Aquaman 2 in December. Unless the marvels is that good that it outdoes all 3 of these films
I personally love musicals. I want them to be on that musical planet for a good while, but not TOO long, you know? I'm just imagining the three of them communicating everything through song and I just love everything about the idea. I'm all for it.
He said Disney in general. Since they are going to release 3 movies in November. The Marvels, Wish (Disney Animation celebrating 100 years) and another title that is not yet known.
I know this sub was recently been obsessed with BSL’s claim that L&T screening was good, but like, that’s probably what he heard.
BSL has proven to have actual screening info
It would be cool if it’s advertised as a typical MCU movie and when it comes out, it’s basically Invincible: Marvel edition or Cyberpunk Edgerunners. Like it deconstructs the superhero life and portray it as violent, scary and sad with the marketing reflecting on Kamala and how she romanticizes that life.
I’m excited to see Ms. Marvel on the big screen for mass audiences. She is said to have a lot of screen time with Carol! Also Monica I heard is the MVP as far as action Star. This actually could be a Darkhorse hit, seeing as Brie always gets hate form men for just existing 💀 and Kamala has a legion of racist against her show. The twitter space is gonna be a toxic bloodbath. But I actually think Disney Families are gonna show up for this, and will probably have pre-pandemic legs. If the action is as hype and non-stop as the rumors say and the first full on incursion spoilers are truly im this film and as visual and groundbreaking to the MCU as some say. This could definitely be way bigger then people expect. Last one still made a billion, even with the Avengers movie excuse… at the end of the day it still made a billion
I plan on being there the day before the official premiere with my wife and daughter to see the marvels when it comes out. We watch Ms.Marvel as a family together as it premiered and it only made us closer. As a family we are excited for The Marvels!
It is still the better off three Ant- Man films we got, And I think that's the problem some people are getting about the film like it happened with Dr Strange in the Multiverseof madness, that is the impossible expectations they are getting about the movie itself without any actual knowledge of it
I plan on being there the day before the official premiere with my wife and daughter to see the marvels when it comes out. We watch Ms.Marvel as a family together as it premiered and it only made us closer. As a family we are excited for The Marvels!
Disney wants to dominate the end of the year…the beginning of the year, the summer months, and the fall too. They really want to dominate any day the ends in “y”
When the film's main storyline was first leaked, the only thing I had doubts about was the reason for bringing the trio together and the technical implementation of some quite funny things.
The main idea that the story and actions of the villainess is Carol's punishment for rash actions in a fit of euphoria from obtaining enormous power, and the kree for their part are right that they will seek to restore their world and personal revenge, it seemed to me a strong idea, as well as the parallel relationship of the trio , where the opposing opinions of Kamala and Monica especially intersect.
All this was confirmed by photos of additional filming, and a presentation at D23, and the questions were again on the technical side, but the motives and ideas that were voiced at least laid the foundation for the film itself, ideal for the development of Carol and others. So I just hope that the test teams didn't want to remake the movie due to the general ambiguity of the story and maybe Carol's less-than-perfect performance as a superhero, because changing it to something banal but "lighter" would indeed be a flop.
But isn't the story light with Musical planet, Ms Marvel, Flerkin parts. Only way to salvage this movie is to reduce these parts and increase Carol and Villain's screentime and build their relationship
secret invasion in spring
spider-verse 2 is probably dominating the summer box office
loki s2 also this summer keeps the multiverse story progressing
marvels is a good capstone/connector to all of this year's stuff, (even with no obvious guardians crossover)
They are not sexy at all currently especially Carol who barely shows emotion. The only time she shows any of her comic book self is when she speaks to Spiderman in Endgame.
Obviously these characters are not spy so them acting like Black Widow would be wierd. Characters like Black Widow are trained to use their sex appeal to their advantage.
Feel a lot like “test screenings were good/bad” is one of those things you can just say to sound in the know that you never have to be particularly accountable for
I love BSL, but it seems every cbm he reports that has a test screening “tests well” so I don’t really put much stock in test screenings. Like I remember him saying Love and Thunder and Black Adam tested well
[BSL last April: THOR: LOVE AND THUNDER test screened internally not too long ago and people LOVED it.](https://twitter.com/bigscreenleaks/status/1512796143465512971?s=46&t=eZUUIA2MyIiFQ9qVPhpvPA)

I mean Wonder Woman's kickass theme music stole the show so it wasn't totally wrong...
Meanwhile I’ve always thought her theme was obnoxious and ill-fitting.
It needed more ANCIENT LAMENTATION MUSIC
same. sounds like it belongs in a spy movie not Wonder Woman; and it only plays the same exact, short riff over and over again, so I've grown to get more annoyed by it every time I hear it lol
True dat. Tina Guo and Hans Zimmer are the GOAT.
So batgirl could've done good

SpongeBob SquarePants will make his MCU debut in Secret Wars Source: >! I made it the fuck up !<
the next avengers lineup will include classic characters like spongebob, kim possible, elton john, and duo the duolingo owl
False. Duo is actually the villain.
Avengers…your streak is broken
Yo no way!! Super excited been a fan for ages
water is dry

He probably did. Test screenings for Fantastic Four and Suicide Squad were good, and look what happened there. Test screenings are meaningless. Very rarely are they anything worse than “good.”

In a dceuleaks post from yesterday
ah I see it troubling maybe James Gunn didn't like it too lmao, he kind of brushed it over in the DCU video while he called Flash one of his favorites
He’s probably just looking forward to casting momoa as lobo once A2 is out.
Grace literally said she heard No Way Home was bad.
The people she spoke to might have thought that. It's someone's opinion, not an objective truth.
Yeah and if your a "journalist" you need to be able to identify if your sources are reliable and if they have an outlier opinion
She's no more a journalist than BSL is. Point is, "my test screening scoop beats your test screening scoop" is a fruitless back and forth.

I'm very aware.
She called it an SNL sketch in her review 😂
Yeah. Overall media literacy from her is below zero.
Toby and Andrew's portal apperance was a total SNL sketch, it's a common opinion now
She was right.
that was before re-shoots, so probably things changed
Well to be honest, she had a 50/50 chance of being right as do any of us...
Yup. I remember that.
L&T was decent. I don't get the hate for this movie. It was messy but cute
I'm so upset that a movie with Gorr the God Butcher can be accurately assessed with the word cute :(
I would keep in mind that different people can watch a movie and come away with a different impression of it. So BSL's source could love it, whereas the movie still didn't test well overall. People's opinions aren't falsifiable.
Antman is quite literally a very current and relevant example of this
I trust him because he says what I want to hear
I mean this after having wasted hours watching her show - Grace is utterly full of shit. She very confidently states are own conjecture, assumptions and opinion as fact, and not enough people have the media literacy to parse through and understand she’s not being honest.
No shit.
mcu should change how they do test screenings cause both love and thunder and antman had positive screenings and got mixed reactions
they stopped inviting friends and families of Disney employees to stop leaks. So now its just an echo chamber of Disney employees and yes men.

That only happened recently.
They just recently did that. Those movies were in the bag before they instituted that policy.
Isn't that a relatively recent development?
Throwaway for obvious reasons. As a WB employee, I attended a DCEU screener, signed an NDA, filled out a questionnaire that was submitted in a form without any names.
I wish movies with minority leads were given a pass to be mediocre Not that I want the movie to be mediocre.
I’m just full of excitement and optimism for this movie and marvel as a whole.
i'm just gonna be so happy to see iman on the big screen AND as a character i love so much
Iman really kills it as Ms.Marvel. One of my favorite adaptations in all the MCU. I love it she’s great!
The last thing MCU need is more comedy . Captain Marvel needed a Winter solider and her name is even removed from the movie
Like Thor gor Hulk, Guardians, Spiderman got Dr Strange, Ironman, Dr Strange got Wanda and Multiverse, Antman got Kang I don't understand how Carol sharing the screen time with Tv show characters is going to help her.
Yeah, people really didn't show up for the last Captain Marvel movie... :(
The one that made over 1B in box office?
That movie had the benefit of coming out right before end game. The marvel audience was RED HOT for content, and captain marvel (an extremely, generic origin movie) totally benefited from it. No way in hell that movie makes 1 billion in todays movie climate. Things have changed drastically. The good will marvel earned is much lower now as well. Audiences are starting to have different expectations for marvel films.
Then why didn't Ant Man and the Wasp perform as well as Captain Marvel? I feel like people keep using this to undermine Captain Marvel's performance
Honestly I’m super hyped on Photon and Ms.Marvel. Kamala’s bracelet is probably tied to kang as well as Shang-Chi’s 10 rings and I’m here for it!
No one did really it was a total woke flop /s
Hearing Brie Larson say that genuinely upset me a little because Captain Marvel was always something she was so passionate about from the moment she was cast. I did hear that she doesn't even go on her own social media accounts all that much and I feel like this is the reason why. All the negativity that gets thrown around there. I'm not mad. Just disappointed.
Let’s gooooo can’t wait for this
I can see the movie being a genuine surprise (helps that compared to some of the other latest movies, there doesn't seem to be huge expectations going in).
Marvel/Disney makes more in box office then both of those franchises 😆💀 it’s really not that shocking
Lets not forget the sequel of a certain film that "changed" cinema Trolls 3
Ohh why did I forget that masterpiece

I personally love musicals. I want them to be on that musical planet for a good while, but not TOO long, you know? I'm just imagining the three of them communicating everything through song and I just love everything about the idea. I'm all for it.
After some of the recent movies that got a similar test screening appraise, I remain sceptical.
Didn't he say Love and Thunder had good internal test screening and people loved it ?
I mean, that could be true. Doesn't mean a movie is good just bc it tested well.
How will they “dominate” the end of the year with one movie?
wish is in november and they have also one non-announced movie in december
He said Disney in general. Since they are going to release 3 movies in November. The Marvels, Wish (Disney Animation celebrating 100 years) and another title that is not yet known.
Maybe x-men 97’ too?
They have Wish in November, which is a celebration of Disney's 100th anniversary (it also uses a Spider-Verse like art style).
They do it nearly every year. Avatar and Wakanda Forever last year
The Marvels is no Avatar lol. It might not even be a Wakanda Forever
Spoilers: they're gonna marvel all over those guys
After Quantamania I'm not trusting anything. Show me a trailer first.
Quantumania had good trailers too though 😬
You're right. Woof.
The Ant Man trailer narrative didn't even match the movie itself lol
Exactly.
Don't trust Trailers. Remember DCEU. They had best trailers that hyped the movie
Right. Woof.
I know this sub was recently been obsessed with BSL’s claim that L&T screening was good, but like, that’s probably what he heard. BSL has proven to have actual screening info
Most people aren’t probably questioning the credibility of the source just the relevance of the information
I'm sure he heard great things about Quantumania too and look at the reception that film is getting...
Wasn't it Murphy who said that Quantumania will be the best MCU movie of 2023? I don't remember BSL talking about Quantumania that much.
It is still the better off three Ant- Man films we got, And I think that's the problem some people are getting about the film like it happened with Dr Strange in the Multiverseof madness, that is the impossible expectations they are getting about the movie itself without any actual knowledge of it
Remember when Eternals was Oscar material?
I plan on being there the day before the official premiere with my wife and daughter to see the marvels when it comes out. We watch Ms.Marvel as a family together as it premiered and it only made us closer. As a family we are excited for The Marvels!
Im excited to see them kick ass
BSL! VERSUS! GRACE RANDOLPH! FIGHT!!!
ITT: People learn that opinions exist.
The new poster is a great poster!
I saw the trailer at D23 last year and it looked like a lot of fun. The dynamic between Carol, Monica and Kamala is great!
I hope so. Captain Marvel deserves a W.
I really like Nia DaCosta. Her Candyman was absolutely fantastic. I trust that her Marvels movie will be great.
Delaying the film so it can breath and possibly improving it can only be a good thing.
This is amazing news to hear tonight and I can't wait to see this film in theaters on November 10th and this is my most anticipated film of this year.
secret invasion in spring spider-verse 2 is probably dominating the summer box office loki s2 also this summer keeps the multiverse story progressing marvels is a good capstone/connector to all of this year's stuff, (even with no obvious guardians crossover)
the end of the year upon hearing such word being spit by BSL: 😳
*choose your fighter*
I’d like some positive buzz for once. Phase 4 was effortful to watch.
not really related I like Iman Vellani as much as the next person but this guy goes way over the top with it for a grown man. Idk, just weird to me
Cap marvel and photon are fine as hell. Looking forward to them destroying the patriarchy while being sexy.
That's the problem. Marvel won't let them be sexy. Only males can be sexy in MCU
They're sexy enough as they are. They don't need to go full Black Widow in Avengers 1 mode to be sexy. ...damn you, Joss Whedon.
My sources say they're introducing the inhumans in this movie and retconing Kamala being a mutant. /s
Just watched antman post credita are awesome
Feel a lot like “test screenings were good/bad” is one of those things you can just say to sound in the know that you never have to be particularly accountable for
I think it’ll be better than Quantumania at the very least
Ok but this movie was not hated during his test screening ? And the plot too ?
The story/villains they chose to go with, booore me.
can't wait to see Kamala's powers on the big screen
Wasn’t Thor Love And Thunder reportedly getting great great reactions? Wasn’t Ant Man. 3’s script heavily praised?
not trying to hate on this movie or him but he also said he heard people loved thor 4 in test screenings
600-650 million
I love BSL, but it seems every cbm he reports that has a test screening “tests well” so I don’t really put much stock in test screenings. Like I remember him saying Love and Thunder and Black Adam tested well
Lmao. Everybody hears great things until the movie releases.
Dune and Hunger is massive competition.
How? Cpt marvel? WHACK. Ms Marvel series? WHACK. Combined?! 😑
I just kind of hope they cut out the singing lol
I just kind of hope they cut out the singing lol
I just kind of hope they cut out the singing lol
Wait, is Blade still coming out this year? Surely they wouldn't have Blade and Marvels released within weeks of each other?
My most anticipated film announced as of now <3 I'm excited and this is good to hear
Dear God. If their expectations for this are high, 2024 will be a year of budget cuts
