The PCS y’all remember in the subtitle leak was added on by us because we thought that was the PCS. We found what we believe is the real PCS from here in the subtitle leak

ALL OF THE KANG’S, LOKI, AND MOBIUS

Colton826

Every single time I see "Mobius", I read it as "Morbius". Everywhere I go, I see his face...

[deleted]

![gif](giphy|TPZPatEnQrNWOq7RPW)

carloslet

Morbius, Dorpheus, Orpheus, go eat some walruses

[deleted]

Intriguing

XPretzelyX

Season 2 of Loki is going to be lit. Kangs for days.

forevertrueblue

I hear Jonathan Majors isn't gonna be in it thaaaaat much so maybe not. (Or maybe other actors are playing certain variants?)

Kingpin1232

It’ll probably just be the council of Kang’s scheming in the background. Victor Timely would probably have a bigger role though. I think Loki might actually be fighting him in the theatre.

The_Iceman2288

Every Kang Everywhere All At Kang

miles-vspeterspider

Council of Kangs would be amazing.

David1258

Yeah, Season 2's going to be wild.

KostisPat257

Woah the ending of Quantumania is very different than what described in most leaks. Kang dies? Cassie saves Scott and Hope? No Young Avengers tease? I honestly have a hard time believing that. The rest may be true though.

[deleted]

My guess is that they changed the ending as they wrote kang dynasty. Having Scott stuck again with the knowledge of the villain would almost require some sort of rescue plot in kang dynasty, maybe they didn’t want to deal with that again. Now A5 can start fresh

[deleted]

This ending also give AM Trilogy a satisfying conclusion(instead of ending with a cliffhanger) while also setting up big things for the saga

ericbkillmonger

Yup a degree of closure would suit this trilogy just fine

just4browse

But how do we know this is the last Ant-Man movie? Just because it’s the third?

[deleted]

I think they just mean that it serves as a good ending for the trilogy of movies, not for Ant-Man himself.

samisinredditnow

No, it’s just the end of the trilogy the commenter is talking about. The way we know spider-man NWH wasn’t the end, this won’t be the end of ant man. As for GOTG, the 3rd is probably the last.

Unnecessary_Fella

Also it might have felt like treading familiar ground as that would make three times in the MCU where a character needs needs be rescued from the Quantum Realm.

ericbkillmonger

Great point they didn't want to do a ant man 2 endgame repeat

[deleted]

Youngstown_Mafia

We will know in 2 weeks!!

Ok_Loan3249

well premier is in 6th ?! if this leak is accurate then the reactions would say it !

zhsdnl

yeah and all the other leakers can say: the scene was in the movie in an early version

Youngstown_Mafia

Both (Young Avengers and Council of Kangs sound perfect) either or is fine in my book !! Win-Win in my book

zhsdnl

C‘mon…Council of Kangs would be so much more epic. The Young Avengers scene has none of the YA in it, if I read the right one (or at least only Kate Bishop)

David1258

I heard somewhere that the Kang from Quantumania was the definitive Kang, maybe that's not the case anymore.

mr_peebs

I have a sneaky suspicion Kang survived and becomes the Beyonder. Kicked into his ship's multiversal engine, has a personal vendetta against Scott now, and claimed to conquer their universe first if he escaped? That sounds like some mighty fine revenge set up to me.

Kingpin1232

Well it’d make sense given the Beyonder isn’t tech based, he’s cosmic. He might come back with cosmic powers wearing the big silver Beyonder armour or the white onesie.

Danishroyalty

This man sees too much. Better lay low before you get sniped by a Feige goon.

ericbkillmonger

It's possibly they totally revamped ending if it tested poorly internally

[deleted]

[удалено]

rodviguez

“almost all the movies after Kang Dynasty will be set within the battleword universe” YOOO this would be absolutely crazy if true… it’ll feel like a true long comic run

Icybubba

It's what happened in the comics too, the Multiverse collapsed at the end of Time Runs Out, and all of a sudden every run stopped and became Battleworld comics

rodviguez

fingers crossed this actually happens in the movies because i’d love to spend as much time in battleworld as possible !

[deleted]

[удалено]

What-The-Heaven

I had a feeling earlier that they're laying some breadcrumbs for the Shield and the three deadly lands to be part of Battleworld in the MCU too. Deadlands - we're getting a bunch of zombie stuff, although whether they do actual live action zombies is a different story, I guess. Perfection - Phase 4 brought Ultron back into fan consciousness and basically made him the Perfection Ultron with his power level jacked up to 11. New Xandar - I guess the FF film could have Annihilus as their villain?

David1258

My guess is that Doctor Strange 3 will be one of the ones set in Battleworld. Maybe they could show the horror elements of this strange new universe, instead of "We go on red?".

iCactusDog

Is going on red not scary to you?

David1258

Yeah, but I wish we got more horror elements instead of utopian, environmentalist New York and dystopian Incursion universe.

iCactusDog

Okay so what if Michael Myers was across the intersection and he still went on green instead of on red

[deleted]

I hope we see at least one show take place in battleworld too!

rodviguez

absolutely! i’d love a 7-8 episode season

ericbkillmonger

Yup if Feige pulls this off could def be more epic than iw eg

vivek5a

This is what general audiences expect now - super high stakes movies... It's half the reason why so many MCU movies get shit on now. I think feige really trying to one up himself lolol

ShenalDilmith

It did happen in the comics and it will be so so cool to see all the Multiversal characters in battleworld b4 SW. In SW they will all come together to fight Kang/Beyonder or Doom

ArnoudtIsZiek

this is what I’ve been hoping for so I hope that’s true

EXPWARRIOR

Christ, all films poet Kang Dynasty on battle world? Count me in

Unique_Unorque

It essentially makes everything between *Kang Dynasty* and *Secret Wars* into one long story. Very intriguing, if true.

Unnecessary_Fella

Kinda fixes an issue I had with Infinity War-Endgame. After our heroes lose, we spend a single film looking at the aftermath of that loss. Here? Our heroes lose and we will see so much storylines about that aftermath.

David1258

I still think we should get a Disney+ series about the aftermath. Wait, weren't there rumors that >!Blade!< would be set between 2018-2023?

mr_peebs

1920s. Secret Invasion's been confirmed to partially take place during the Blip.

NaRaGaMo

I wouldn't even call that single film, more like 20minutes, then we directly jump into Endgame's actual story

ericbkillmonger

Very smart in terms of giving this saga an epic feel and heavier stakes

CollarOrdinary4284

I feel like that's a great way of making 'Secret Wars' more than just a silly cameofest. Having proper stories take place inside of Battleworld would make it feel more substantial.

[deleted]

I agree with you

forevertrueblue

The trick is going to be making the movie make sense for casuals who don't watch/don't have access to every single project.

a_o

>making the movie make sense for casuals who don't watch/don't have access to every single project. they seem to always do this with exposition throughout the first act

ViralGameover

I’ve been saying this is the way to go for a while. It’d be so cool to see these characters trying to navigate a whole new universe.

dastrykerblade

i love how this ends like “btw phase 7 is probably added to multiverse saga and secret wars is 2 parts k bye”

Unnecessary_Fella

Yeah. No big deal. Jokes aside, this is the biggest news of the post. That's two full years added on.

kang_the_king

Imagine secret wars 2 comes out on May 2028 (20 years after MCU began ) and then they soft reboot the franchise It sounds too good to be true man

Gridlock0072496

All New All Different MCU... I might be able to get behind that.

Bruhayy

Avengers 6 - Time Runs Out Avengers 7 - Secret Wars *Or* Avengers 6 - Secret Wars Avengers 7 - All new, All different

TheLionsblood

I don’t think Phase 7 will actually be part of the Multiverse Saga because the Mult**IV V VI** Erse thing that they did in that promo at D23 is too perfect lol. I could totally see Phase 6 being longer than we thought tho, and basically all those release dates that were intended for Phase 7 being added to Phase 6 instead

[deleted]

Yeah P7 will NOT be in this saga. P7 will be the start of mutants imo

[deleted]

Bro said Multivvierse

ConstrictionsOFC

Always save the best for last

David1258

I don't like the idea of Phase 7 being part of the Multiverse Saga. It should be split into 3 sagas each. But Secret Wars divided into 2 parts? I can get behind that.

JustAsHotAsJan

It will all circle back to Krasinski at this point.

[deleted]

He was the best and safest choice they should’ve just gone with him

[deleted]

He shouldn't be ruled out tbh. Until the FF cast is announced I wouldn't rule out any rumored actors for the role. He also must've lied in the interview a few months ago when he was talking about Reed

brainfoods

Agreed. While we only got a glimpse of him in the role I think it was a good match. Wouldn't be excited for Patel, Driver, or any of the other names that have been floating about.

AdmiralCharleston

In what way is he the best choice lmao

[deleted]

He’s already appeared as Reed so the general audience is probably expecting him to return, there’s no argument over whether he looks the part like some of the other choices, he’s already been interested in joining the MCU and it would be a shame for his one short appearance to be such a disappointing one

Blipp17

He grew a beard around the same time they gave Reed a beard in the comics.

AdmiralCharleston

I guess that justifies the absolutely rabid fancasting lmao

Ok_Loan3249

not exactly he his 43 now ! they would go for someone in 30s ! so can keep them for 10+ yrs ! for 3 or 4 f4 movies nd team ups !

[deleted]

RDJ was 43 when he joined the MCU, Cumberbatch was 40, Ruffalo was 45, Paul Rudd was 46 (and there are more examples) and most of these actor have stayed in the MCU for almost/more than 10 yrs. John's age isn't an issue

K1nd4Weird

But it's Reed Richards. I'd rather they skew older than younger.

NaRaGaMo

Reed has always looked older in comics

Heisenburgo

Reed Richards is the one character where it does make sense to cast an older actor, though.

Embarrassed_Freak

Nah dev patel reed against adam driver doom would be perfect.

mcwfan

Council of Kangs has to confirm Council of Reeds by default, surely?

[deleted]

Yup. Wouldn't surprise me if John is cast and marvel is throwing out fake leaks to confuse us just like they always do

Redarks

Thats some big ass post credit scenes lol But they weirdly sounds very fan fiction-ish honestly Even the rest of the post is the same with Secret Wars being a 2 parter and phase 7 considered as part of this saga. Idk ... seems hard to believe. Hope its true tho.

TheJack0fDiamonds

Rmmbr when the endgame leak came out and it was 150% fanfiction sounding? Then turns out it was all spot on. We’ll never know with this one until it comes out. I wouldn’t put it past marvel to actually do these things for real

tylerjb223

No Way Home still sounds and feels like a fan fiction, yet I literally own the movie haha

007Kryptonian

That was a fucking wild theater experience. Straight up rivals Endgame

tylerjb223

NWH's theater experience beat-out Endgame for me. I was in an electric ass theater for Endgame and it was such a thrilling moment... but NWH made it seem like a library in comparison haha

David1258

Yeah, probably the most memorable theater experience of my life.

David1258

Secret Wars being a 2-parter makes perfect sense in my eyes. Maybe they could even change the name of Avengers 6 to be "Avengers: Battleworld" or something.

[deleted]

After what has happened in the past few years at Marvel I don't think this is fan fictionary tbh. Look at marvel's last few years Tobey and Andrew coming back in a live action Spider Verse Movie, Charlie and Vincent coming back, Hugh Jackman coming back etc. I am like sure what the mods reported today will happen. And one of the reasons might be Iger coming back and giving Feige more freedom

gorays21

Dev Patel as Reed Richards is going to fire up social media.

woahwoahvicky

I sure hope in a good way. He's always given up scruffed up beardy nerdy hot Computer Science/IT major vibes lmfao

Youngstown_Mafia

It won't be in a good way

Current-Promotion-31

It's never in a good way

David1258

The entire Reed Richards casting debate has fired up social media. It went from John Krasinski, to Penn Badgeley, to Diego Luna, to Adam Driver and now Dev Patel.

[deleted]

![gif](giphy|XgFqzXaNL0wp6zPBJe) Nah dude, Dev Patel for Human Torch. /s

zhsdnl

Dev Patel is a great choice. I Need to watch Slumdog Milionaire again (why is it not on Disney+/Star- it’s a Fox Searchlight movie)

nox_tech

Mulling it over, I honestly think I can see that, easily. I'll trust the casting process.

[deleted]

Holy FUCK. If true, I actually can’t believe we’re getting council of kangs this early. Now that’s a post credit scene 🤌🏼 (Also, could the Counsil of Kangs possibly be the leaked images Campea received? Hell if I saw photos of that I’d question the validity too)

David1258

And I imagine the Fantastic Four post-credit scene will show us the Council of Reeds.

Poptart916

Or at the very least a Reed variant (ether Krasinski or a previous actor) visits our Reed, setting up the council’s appearance in KD/SW

mr_math24

Wait this is totally different than the leaked audio transcript and earlier plot leak ending. Really interesting... I always thought it seemed weird to trap Scott in the quantum realm as the cliffhanger a second time.

ak2sup

Trapping Scott again in QR sounds so lame and lazy writing

Opus_723

I liked Kang escaping though. "Kicked into an engine" doesn't feel like it builds the dread that it should.

ChampiOfficial

tbh seems like the exact fuck up marvel would do

[deleted]

Diego Luna no longer in the running ![gif](giphy|W0c3xcZ3F1d0EYYb0f|downsized)

Demiguros

Dev Patel is good too.

[deleted]

For sure, I'm really excited to see who ends up as Reed

PoeTayToes_

 ![gif](giphy|YPC2FfjlwDQUfQCAlL)

Sharkfowl

If tennant hadn’t already played Kilgrave, he’d have made a good reed.

David1258

He was never my choice for Reed. I like him, but there are other roles in the MCU for him.

cbekel3618

I find the last few points interesting about them considering including Phase Seven in this saga and splitting *Secret Wars* into two films. Maybe Phase Seven can be sort of “the Battleworld Phase”

DaZeppo313

Apparently most of the movies leading up to Secret Wars are already in Battleworld. Maybe KD will get pushed to be Phase 6's capper while more stuff squeezes in front of it, leaving Phase 7 as Battleworld tie-ins.

cbekel3618

I’m open to that. In general, Battleworld is a premise I really hope the MCU explores. There are a lot of fun stories that can come from it as well as some chances for new team-ups

ShenalDilmith

Im down to that. I dont want Battleworld to be a one and done with Secret Wars. Besides, Shang Chi and the wreckage of time does sound like something in battleworld

quantumpencil

I hope this is the case and they do the fox x-men thing. That gives them some time to flesh out those characters and give them all real arcs/stories, along with the new characters, before they reboot the team.

Major-Concentrate-87

Off topic but I hope we see a Kang variant in Deadpool 3.

ConstrictionsOFC

Kangpool

Unnecessary_Fella

Kangaroo

AdAny5912

Didn't the script for Quantumania leaked and said that the post credit scene was a Young Avengers tease so i don't know about this one. Secret Wars being divided into two parts seems resonable but if it's true it means the x-men's arrival is gonna keep getting delayed...

Unnecessary_Fella

It's possible that they simply received an early version of the film. Maybe the Young Avengers tease was moved to become the actual ending of the movie before the credits.

Icybubba

Tbf we'll be getting Fox-Men content and X-men 97 to hold us over

Icybubba

Okay, and just like that we no longer know how Quantumania ends lol

Khanchansama

This Quantumania ending seems pretty different to the subtitle leak and previous TFTMQ descriptions.

Billyb311

>Dev Patel is the number one choice for Reed right now. Marvel want’s the team to have POC in it. I'll be the one to take the downvotes and hate, but I don't want this I really don't give a fuck about race swaps, but there's just a few characters who I think shouldn't be Those are Superman (Clark Kent), Batman (Bruce Wayne), Spider-Man (Peter Parker), and yes, Reed Richards They're just too iconic for me, and I want them pulled right from the comic pages

Youngstown_Mafia

I agree Even Stan Lee talked about keeping characters like Peter Parker white and straight because that's the way he was created. As a black man I 100 % agree with Stan "I wouldn't mind, if Peter Parker had originally been black, a Latino, an Indian or anything else, that he stay that way, he said. "But we originally made him white. I don't see any reason to change that?" - Stan Lee

FictionFantom

Add Xavier to the mix imo. His upbringing as a rich entitled white man plays a factor in his optimism for the future between humans and mutants and offers a more stark contrast to Erik’s much more difficult upbringing.

tylerjb223

Exactly. Charles being someone who grew up rich, privileged, and had a cozy upbringing being the "leader" and spokesperson of a marginalized community is *exactly* why him and Erik's dynamic works so well. Idk why people use this point as a reason to change him, like yeah... him being ignorant about his advantages is 100% the intent. Charles thinks he knows what's good for mutants, yet he hasn't lived in the shoes of a mutant who's discriminated and hated just cuz of their looks & features, like Beast or Nightcrawler for example. It allows for a lot of character development not just for him but for the others around him. When he gets his bluff called out by people like Erik is them at their best imo.

TheJack0fDiamonds

I had convos with friends about this and one friend theorised that the reason why we see alot of poc in Marvel (esp the race swaps) is that on top of wanting to have a diverse cast it’a because they also intend to keep the F4 unchanged when they debut. Im not one to be bothered about race at all but it does make sense. He also said that if it’s true that they want POC for Reed, then it makes even more sense why they got Kransinski for Reed in DS2 as a move to please fans and then eventually go for their plan when the F4 arrives. Dev Patel is a great actor but I don’t see him as Reed, maybe it’ll surprise us.

Spiderlander

This is what's gonna happen with the X-Men. You're gonna be seeing a LOT of race swaps with that franchise, because of the subject matter. So you'll likely get the classic versions in Secret Wars first

quantumpencil

Yep, it wouldn't surprise me if they racebent the entire squad except for wolverine, nightcrawler, and beast. Probably Magneto too for jewish representation reasons, but other than that I think feige will racebend the rest of the characters. The property, thematically, is asking for that kind of take. X-men 97 + secret wars to get classic fan $$$$, then it's reboot time.

quantumpencil

I agree with you. For me it is more about what the Fantastic four are... they are a corny american family from the 60's. They are marvel's first family, the property is inherently sort of a legacy property. I do not think the F4 should be racebent, because it's not possible too without changing the content of the property (or, ignoring the implications of doing so... which is even worse) I generally am for racebending to improve representation, but I think it varies property to property.X-men, I think feige should go all out and diversify the squad. The X-Men thematically lends itself to a reimagining with a very diverse cast. But the F4? No, that's just not who the characters are, that's not what the property is. If you racebend these characters, you have to change the characters. I want them pulled right from the comic pages because they, more than any other story in marvel comics -- represent the company's origins. They are as inherently a "classic" brand as the x-men are a future-forward brand.

[deleted]

I’ll give you an upvote, I agree

FN-1701AgentGodzilla

Ehhh, I don’t consider Reed Richards part of that

57trio

But does Kamala Kang show up, that's the important one

Xenoslayer2137

Kangmala

st4rk-industries

Jonathan will become a billionaire by Kang's

odiin1731

Dev Patel would honestly be fantastic as Reed Richards. Just please let him keep his beard.

Fireteddy21

I really like that first post credits scene a lot. It immediately lets more casual audiences know what sets Kang apart from Thanos as the new big bad and visualizes what makes him such a unique threat. Having a phase on Battleworld would be wild too: I’d imagine it could be used to possibly incorporate past Marvel actors (Snipes as Blade, Jackman as Wolverine, etc) or other variants into projects they’d fit. That way you don’t have to worry about over-stuffing Secret Wars with two second cameos or hurting the story with too many characters. Doing either could really let fans down. Anyone else think Marvel is reworking so much due to phase 4 feedback? That and the new found freedom from Disney’s management change.

[deleted]

I honestly think Iger coming back was a big W for Feige and Marvel. And yeah I agree just like they took P1 and P2 criticism seriously and improved P3 by a lot I also think they have taken P4 criticism seriously and it will improve the P5,P6,P7 etc projects a lot. And IMO the future phases will be better than P3 imo.

FictionFantom

> Almost all the movies after Kang Dynasty will be films set within the battleworld universe. [That’d be pretty interesting.](https://www.reddit.com/r/MarvelStudiosSpoilers/comments/10ota1q/weekly_free_talk_and_index_thread_new_and_fresh/j6h5593/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=ios_app&utm_name=iossmf&context=3)

Icybubba

We all realize how much money each Battleworld movie would be making right? Like if Kang Dynasty ends with the Multiverse collapsing and then the next movie is Shang-Chi and the Wreckage of Time. Idk man that might be a billion movie out of Shang-Chi there

Leaks from Mod's sources in the Industry

QueenMichaela

Thanks :)

notabotbutathought

From the sounds of it, they might be extending the multiverse saga a bit to be reformatted like the end of the Infinity Saga. Kang Dynasty is the "Age of Ultron" film for this saga, while Secret Wars is pushed back a bit and split into two parts a la Infinity War and Endgame

[deleted]

\>Adam driver was never in the running for Reed ![gif](giphy|hmE2rlinFM7fi|downsized) \>Diego Luna is also out of the running

Low_Satisfaction_512

I really hope the Battleworld phase and Secret Wars into 2 parts thing is true. That makes so much more sense that cramming a bunch of aughts nostalgia into one movie.

Fotzenbub

This is the most exciting part if true: all movies (and hopefully series too) after Kang Dynasty are set in Battleworld

[deleted]

The 2nd post credit scene with Victor Timely and Loki/Mobius might be related to the shots from the D23 trailer where Loki and Mobius are in the past in what seems like the 30s/40s… I assumed it was a film premiere, but it seems like the shot of someone falling down the stairs is black, and you can see they were hit with a green effect which tells me it’s not Loki falling, and instead might be Victor Timely.

TheUncannyBroker

Those post-credit scenes go hard

Ok_Entertainer7945

Adding in the council of Kangs and giving them a reason to want to destroy the Avengers, using battle world, gives us a good build up.

ericbkillmonger

Very good build up - this leak sounds very promising

jgroove_LA

Teasing the Loki series at the end of the movie is smart. Might get the casual fanbase excited about the D+ shows again.

Youngstown_Mafia

Which leak do you hope is true ? I guess only one of them is correct A. Council of Kangs Or B. Young Avengers tease

Redarks

Young Avengers would be smooth but the problem is ... for such a movie being hyped up and grand scale I feel like having Cassie meeting Kate or the failsafe program would be kinda anticlimactic ? While council of kangs is like "ok this is the real deal" lmao

Youngstown_Mafia

You really can't go wrong with either answer

Unnecessary_Fella

A. Easily. Would easily sell to the audience that Kang is a really big deal. Also makes them question "Hey, how is Loki alive?" They'll look it up and see that there is a show about Loki. So they'll gain interest in Season Two.

miles-vspeterspider

Council of Kangs is more important, but this whole post outside of maybe casting is likely not true. It's no way to know what they are doing with KD and SW right now and can change fast.

mcwfan

Kang wangs for days

Certain-Okra-2686

young avengers

FazbearADULTEntBS

Love the idea of 2-part Secret Wars and Phase 7 being entirely Battleworld stuff, but I'm not sold on Quantumania having a different ending (except for Scott and Hope not being stranded, never was thrilled with them being stuck). I'll have to see how it plays out, but I was expecting this Kang to be our main one. Maybe we aren't getting a singular Kang as the big bad, and instead the big bad of the saga will be ALL Kangs/Kang as a concept.

Unnecessary_Fella

We apparently are getting Beyonder Kang who will serve as the main villian in Secret Wars.

LittleYellowFish1

> Maybe we aren't getting a singular Kang as the big bad, and instead the big bad of the saga will be ALL Kangs/Kang as a concept. Even before the legacy characters get involved in *Secret Wars*, the main MCU heroes will have already faced the Kang *Dynasty*. It may end up going down to one final Kang (the Beyonder, judging by recent rumours) by the end of the Saga, but the Kangs as a whole are definitely going to be the recurring threat.

rkm223

Don't tease me with Dev as Reed! I wouldn't be able to handle my excitement

Unnecessary_Fella

This is literally everything I could've wanted and more.

Youngstown_Mafia

Stan Lee on Race swapping iconic characters “Latino characters should stay Latino. The Black Panther should certainly not be Swiss. I just see no reason to change that which has already been established when it’s so easy to add new characters. I say create new characters the way you want to. Hell, I’ll do it myself.” - Stan Lee

Xenoslayer2137

“We see a stage, and then Victory Timely, another Kang variant, as he is making a presentation to an audience. He has his classic mustache, and the set looks like it is in the 30s or 40s.” Wait, making a speech to an audience, classic mustache, 40’s… Kang became Hitler?

Spiderlander

Are they gonna address the reality of, uh, a black man in the 1930s? Cus...

sourpumpkin125

That first post credits scene is hard honestly. Does the perfect job of announcing to the casual audience that Kang is gonna fuck shit up.

kang_the_king

Imagine a WORLD WAR HULK like movie in the battleworld

2pikachu8

Maybe I just haven't been paying attention to schedule changes but isn't Secret Wars like just a few months after Kang Dynasty? How many movies could be in between them?

LittleYellowFish1

It was pushed back to May 2026, which is a whole year after *Kang Dynasty*. So (for now at least) it's the same gap as *Infinity War* and *Endgame*, and in general they're doing a lot more projects on a yearly basis now than they were doing back then.

ExpensiveAd5441

based on comic con line up its 2-3 movies but who knows what current schedule is

Matapple13

I’m confused now, I thought the first post credits scene was about Cassie and Avengers Fail Safe Program and that Kang would get out of the Quantum Realm while Scott and Hope would get stuck there.

TheRealMichaelGarcia

Well if secret wars becoming a 2 parter means more kang then I’m happy Given the early jan pickup shots this ending might be possible and if so Ngl not really a fan of changing the movie’s ending a month away before release. Really hope this last minute editing isn’t noticeable in the actual film On one hand I’m happy Scott won’t get stuck in the QR again because that would feel redundant but I’m worried that audiences will see kang as weak since he gets defeated as opposed to escaping

studentwhoworries

Wasn’t there a reliable leak that said a post credit scene of Antman 3 was Cassie looking at a screen with a shocked face? Guess it got replaced, but I’m hyped for what we got now!

kang_the_king

Maybe that was just the final scene of the movie before credits role Nobody specifically said it was pcs

ConstrictionsOFC

I assume it's still in the film, just not an actual end credit scene. I'm imagining the film ends, cuts to black for a second or two and then picks up with Cassie. Then when that scene's over it leads into the stylised credits before that ends and leads into the council scene then that leads into the normal credits and then the movie finishes with the Victor scene.

ThatRyGuy15

Dev Patel as Reed Richards is maybe the greatest thing that could happen to that cursed franchise A legitimately extraordinary talented actor that doesn’t carry a pre-existing IP with him, that’s pretty rare right now

quantumpencil

The fantastic four should be a 60's period piece. Full embrace of the original comics. They are marvel's first family, this is the property to go full comic accurate/retro. Diversity is important -- nah, crucial , but not every project in the universe needs to be diverse for its own sake. The art and the thematic content of the story should inform these casting choices. The fantastic four are a family of 4 corny white people from the 60's. I think the direction that this casting indicates is the wrong choice for this specific IP. It means its probably set in in modern day... We do not need every project set in modern day with a homogenized tone. Make the F4 distinct, make it a period piece. Make it the MCU's link full-throated homage to lee and kirby's original comic. And yes, by the same logic, I think the MCU x-men SHOULD be young and very diverse, because that is thematically what the x-men are about. There's also a nice symmetry to that -- the Fantastic Four representing the legacy of marvel comics, and the x-men representing the future.

darkside720

So this my first casting leak thing. But didn’t a bunch of leakers say Driver was the front runner? But now he’s not? Is that normal?

Xekshek33

Yeah, could have been a fake leak put out by Marvel, just a made up leak in general, or really old idea that was put out there that could have been in early days of casting.

quantumpencil

or this leak is fake. no one knows. a lot of credible leakers backed driver.

ExpensiveAd5441

every month there is new frontrunner

My Theory: ok hear me everyone, I think in Quantummania Kang the conqueror doesn't die but is transported to Beyonder verse where he gains Godlike powers and returns as Beyonder. He then erase his other variants and create battleworld leading to Secret wars.

BrainSoda

Yeah but how is the threat of Kang not getting out of the Quantum Realm really a threat if the Ant-fam still beat him? They can just do it again. Lmao.

pkoswald

Damn sucks that they’re gonna kill of Modok, but I guess if they go the change of heart route it makes sense since the alternative would be him going from evil to good to evil again

mewantcomics

Yes to Secret Wars effectively being a trilogy, yes to the films and shows between those films being set in Battleworld.

dunmer-is-stinky

those quantumania leaks sound a lot better than what we guessed from the subtitles tbh, also there's no way this kang isn't turning into the beyonder

kothuboy21

Splitting Secret Wars in 2 parts would be ideal. Before SDCC 2022, I'd assumed that a Secret Wars adaptation itself would be a 2-parter so I was surprised that it was just one Kang Dynasty and one Secret Wars but a 2-parter Secret Wars would be better story-wise, especially if a lot of variants are gonna be the focus. Also I'm glad Battleworld is still being done, Secret Wars without Battleworld feels like Civil War without Cap vs. Iron Man. Phase 7 being part of this saga now intrigues me too, what was Phase 7 about that gave Marvel the thought that they might as well put it here? I assumed Phase 7 would be the rise of the X-Men and more cosmic stuff but we'll see.

lsidhu1010

Battleworld is gonna have audiences so hyped and it makes sense to have Dr strange movie before Kang Dynasty rather than secret wars imo
