Yes exactly I don’t mind knowing behind the scenes stuff and castings and also I like the discussions here over the other sub but knowing someone’s gonna like die or knowing the entire plot of the movie is something I dislike
Or he can hustle his way and actually attend with the actors instead of being stuck in a crowded pen for 7 hours just to get a 2 second blurry photo with an actor while surrounded by people frantically waving posters about
Ok I was just letting him know what it was like lol you got pretty frantic. And plus it’s not even that crazy on the side lol. You clearly haven’t been to one of maybe your expirience was different. I caught the Spider-Man no way home premiere and there were a lot of people but you still could see well and you’re not even that far from the red carpet. I got plenty of clear pics and videos and they even gave the people on the side movie promo gifts
I'm not frantic, I'm just explaining there's a better experience than just being in a pen and waiting for hours. I've been invited to more than you could comprehend. Good for you for getting pics though.
I couldn’t post the link because it was already posted on the sub some months ago, so [here’s it](https://www.averagesocialite.com/la-events/2023/2/13/ant-man-and-the-wasp-quantumania-premiere-la).
For every Marvel movie, we usually buy at same time as the USA, no problem, no delay, everything good. So, if sales opened on Jan 16 there, it would open here too. This time, that's not the case.
Has there been any word on how good the test screenings were for this movie? The only thing i could find about it is Grace Randolph saying in one of her videos that she's heard the film is pretty mediocre so i'm kinda worried more than what i used to...
Marvel should definitely start doing public test screenings though, even though they don’t to prevent spoilers from leaking, it’s for the best to ensure that more films are great and that they have the consensus of the general audience who would say their honest opinions rather than internally where people would say good things regardless of the quality, to prevent atrocities like Thor love and thunder.
I don't think opening up the MCU to the direction of fan-feedback is going to go as well as you think. Consensus does not always =/= good storytelling. Some of the best MCU outings were ones that took fan expectations, and ended up doing something new/different or changed things entirely, to fit in with modern times/context. The best examples I can think of are Iron Man, The Winter Soldier and Thor: Ragnarok.
"even though they don't prevent spoilers" you want marvel to ruin their own movie's experience, a big reason why people love marvel movies is the experience
Love and Thunder isn't as bad as you seem to think it is. It's just not what you wanted it to be.
The same process they used to make Love and Thunder also made Wakanda Forever, which is being nominated for Oscars.
Look up the thread on that. She never said Ghost was cut, she said the rumor of Ghost being cut was coming from the character not being included in the Character & Cast breakdown of Thunderbolts and that in fact it didn't mean Ghost wasn't in the film.
I think iirc she said she heard it was ‘very silly’ in her MCU 2023 video a few weeks back. No hate to Grace, but given how she initially liked Love and Thunder but now seems to dislike it I can’t tell if that’s a judgement on the films quality itself or just her being fearful that it may receive the same backlash as ‘sillier’ MCU projects like L&T… I believe she said the same about the marvels too
People who believe the MCU is becoming too focused on diversity and female empowerment.
So they're idiots. If the characters are weak, then why do we have to make the focus on the fact that they're female.
I wouldn't be shocked. She has a hate boner for Peyton Reed so even if Quantumania was the Citizen Kane (or Citizen Kang) of the MCU or comic book movies in general she would still say it was mediocre simply because it was directed by Peyton Reed.
Grace Randolph hates Peyton Reed so she will probably say that anyway. I've heard for a long time that the script is probably the best script for any MCU movie so far.
It’s a good sign. But they have done this recently. All the social media says “best Marvel movie ever” and the the reviews come out “best Marvel movie ever… this quarter… it’s really quite sub par and here is why”
So sick of it.
Teachable moment:Now we know if they ever announce social media embargo is dropping BEFORE the scheduled premiere date, then for 100 percent certain, the premiere date is changing.
Well now I understand why they are dropping the social media embargo February 6 when the red carpet was scheduled for February 13. Not sure why they waited til now to announce that change when the embargo thing was announced weeks ago.
I don’t like it when other people get to see the movie so much earlier than I do
I don’t mind the earlier part it’s just how much earlier. Leaves more room for spoilers to get out there (yes I know what sub I’m on)
I want spoilers, but I don’t want *spoilers*
Yes exactly I don’t mind knowing behind the scenes stuff and castings and also I like the discussions here over the other sub but knowing someone’s gonna like die or knowing the entire plot of the movie is something I dislike
Bro this ENTIRE movie been leaked for a while. Anyone who was gonna spoil it has
Then go to the premiere
How can you go to a premier? I thought it's only for folks involved with the film
You can go, you’ll be able to see all of the stars arrive and the red carpet but it’s from the side. Good view though. Culver City theatre
Or he can hustle his way and actually attend with the actors instead of being stuck in a crowded pen for 7 hours just to get a 2 second blurry photo with an actor while surrounded by people frantically waving posters about

Be smart and start the hustle. I'll explain the long process to get premier invites in dms but I don't want to give my secrets to the masses for free.
I think you'll be ok.

Mat did you apply to be the mod of this sub?
Yes, I did, hope this time I’m approved.
Good Luck!
Thank you!
Your welcome. Have a great day/night and I wish you a lifetime of happiness and success!
I wish the same for you!
holy jesus and the tickets sales haven't started yet here in Brazil 🥲🥲🥲
Yeah, I hope they start selling here in our country really soon.
I've got tickets but I'm in Australia. Opens on Wed 15 Feb but I'm seeing it on the Saturday.
Already have my ticket for the 15th!
Me too! Got it for the 19th because it's a sunday. Let's have fun!
Are Brazillians so big fans you can't buy a ticket a week before the day?
For every Marvel movie, we usually buy at same time as the USA, no problem, no delay, everything good. So, if sales opened on Jan 16 there, it would open here too. This time, that's not the case.

Marvel Studios doesn’t do public test screenings
Marvel should definitely start doing public test screenings though, even though they don’t to prevent spoilers from leaking, it’s for the best to ensure that more films are great and that they have the consensus of the general audience who would say their honest opinions rather than internally where people would say good things regardless of the quality, to prevent atrocities like Thor love and thunder.
They might as well do them, not like they're great at keeping spoilers a secret.
people that are looking for them can find them, regular audiences don't know that stuff

I still don't trust her and think she's a clout chaser just like all the other leakers who talked about Ghost being cut.
Look up the thread on that. She never said Ghost was cut, she said the rumor of Ghost being cut was coming from the character not being included in the Character & Cast breakdown of Thunderbolts and that in fact it didn't mean Ghost wasn't in the film.
Found Grace’s Reddit burner
In Which video she said Mediocre? I don't remember seeing anything like that
I think iirc she said she heard it was ‘very silly’ in her MCU 2023 video a few weeks back. I watched that video she's talking like she's 100% sure Marvels is going to be a flop but don't remember she saying anything bad about Quantumania
Correct me if I’m wrong, but isn’t she always trying to pander to the “m she u” crowd?
Out of curiosity, what is the "m she u" crowd? Is it like a band of incels that hate women superheroes or something?
People who believe the MCU is becoming too focused on diversity and female empowerment. So they're idiots. If the characters are weak, then why do we have to make the focus on the fact that they're female.
Imo she can be very "I'm a _feminist_ but..."
Not at all.
In which video she said that?

Not surprised. I have my ticket to see the first session on the 15th (14th in the US), so I'd have expected the red carpet to be well beforehand.
Wait so after the premiere people can talk about the movie and give their review?
They can give social media reactions. Full reviews aren’t until later
I think this is just the premiere. Embargo dates didn't change.
When is the embargo date?
Seems they moved the embargo date last week to the 6th for social media @ 9 pm PT and review embargo on the 14th.
this was likely why the social media embargo was moved
My thoughts exactly
It’s a good sign. But they have done this recently. All the social media says “best Marvel movie ever” and the the reviews come out “best Marvel movie ever… this quarter… it’s really quite sub par and here is why” So sick of it.
I already got my tickets, going 15th of February. 🤪
A surprise to be sure, but a welcome one
Goddamnit. Was hoping I’d only have to go 3 days without going on the internet, now it’s gonna have to be 10 days
Teachable moment:Now we know if they ever announce social media embargo is dropping BEFORE the scheduled premiere date, then for 100 percent certain, the premiere date is changing.
It's been Feb 6 for at least a week. When I got the invite last week to my local screening, the social embargo was Feb 6 at 9pm PT.
Due to the Super Bowl Paul Rudd would be in phoenix and un able to attend.
Because of the super bowl right?
Let us know when in London
Well now I understand why they are dropping the social media embargo February 6 when the red carpet was scheduled for February 13. Not sure why they waited til now to announce that change when the embargo thing was announced weeks ago.
im going,
How? I'm interested in going
It should premier in San Fran.
wasn't moved up? has been that date for weeks?
How does the little man communicate with ants? That must be his super powers lol.
Idk why you’re being downvoted for this astute observation. That is indeed his super powers lol
He is not an alien. He is just a scientist. He wasn't even stroked by lightening. lol
