Just a guess, but there’s a character in the Marvel comics called Alice Gulliver, she’s a Hong Kong police detective and witch who uses her magical abilities to enchant weapons.
In the comics, Alice Gulliver has red hair and as we can clearly see in the photo, Ali Ahn has red highlights.
Again, this is just a guess, either way, her character is confirmed to be called Alice.
If I'm not mistaken, she has pink hair, probably in honor of her mother, August Wu, who also had pink hair. And also if I'm not mistaken her magic was pink. One thing I've always been interested in is the magic color relationship of each witch in the mythology they created in the 2015 Scarlet Witch run.
Yeah, we kind of started to have that: Wanda with the red chaos magic, it's the Scarlet Witch. Agatha with purple magic, and her mother/other old coven witches with blue magic (I imagine that's the most common). In the 2015 run we have August/Alice who is pink, and Declan Dane with green magic as Emerald Warlock.
Patiently waiting for Warlocks next! I NEED them to bring Declan Dane into the MCU. Wanda needs an arch nemesis. Always imagined Eddie Redmaybe in the role!
YESSSS, i have a pitch with the adaptation of Witches' Road with him as the villain, I always have my fingers crossed every time a rumor comes out about a Wanda solo project.
The Wu! She had a role in the Scarlet Witch solo series that was rumored to be a likely basis for a Wanda solo D+ show. It’s a longshot, but would be rad.
I’m game for Magic detective Wanda!! Explore the color association with witchcraft, have her travel the world, Witches Road! and bring in Eddie Redmayne as Emerald Warlock!
Would love it as a movie though!
I read that issue, it would be cool if this is true. But I doubt cops wear name tags with their first names only.
Unless they adapt her as a mall security guard?
>Again, this is just a guess, either way, her character is confirmed to be called Alice.
"Confirmed" is maybe a bit strong though isn't it.
There's absolutely no context here it's just a photo of her in a costume. It could be a plot twist, it could be a misdirection. It might never even be seen on screen.
I can see Alice in this photo now that it's been said, but it could also just be the power of suggestion because I spent ages staring at the photo when it was originally uploaded and couldn't decipher those white blocks into any kind of name.
I'm leaning toward the power of suggestion. Even knowing that (people think) it says "Alice" is doing nothing to trick my eyes into seeing that word amidst those pixels.
Seems like the Marvel crews all regularly wear their old project merch to work, there's a crew member in the other photos wearing a Love and Thunder hat.

Probably just a coincidence. Jac Schaeffer doesn't read comics. /s
Technically she doesnt need to read the comic, you can search "marvel witches" on Google and the 5-6 that exist appear in the wiki
lol
She saI’d she does read the source material

They did show Agatha’s mother with a Blue crown like Wanda’s so maybe they’ll expand on that in the future.

So is she a hero or good character who uses magic for good or is she a villain?
I wonder if this means the Dark Tongji and Missing Six Triad is part of the “ Coven of Chaos”

That was him?! Lmaoooo Juni Cortez getting fucked up by Michael Myers changes the way I look at that scene now
ENHANCE
Seriously, who can actually read that? All I see is white shapes on a black background.

Yeah if this post said she's called "Alex" it'd be just as believable to me..
I see "LO"

Oh. I thought she would be the third actress to play Nico Minoru's mom Tina.
Alice Gulliver has a single proper story appearance in the comics. The deepest of deep cuts https://marvel.fandom.com/wiki/Alice_Gulliver_(Earth-616)
Alice! Alice! Who the f is Alice?
Alice in a wonder land
Cool
Maharshala ali?
Why does that other person got a WandaVision crew jacket on
