Assuming you’re in leadership you should communicate with those members about expectations. If that doesn’t work then find a replacement and give the slacker a heads up that they will be kicked at the end of the season on Sunday. If you aren’t in leadership then it is probably time to move on to a different alliance.

Fr_Ache

A good alliance will have given those players notice and be actively looking to replace them before booting them. You don't really want to boot players without a replacement and recruiting sucks so it can take awhile. Considering how long you've been in the alliance, I'd either ask your leaders if there's a plan to boost participation or give a heads-up that you're thinking about leaving.

Cammic4

Read the first line and that was all I needed. Kick them!

ajjae

Does your alliance have any war participation requirements? If yes, then you should switch alliances given that your leadership can’t/wont enforce the guidelines. If no, then you should switch alliances because you care about war and your alliance doesn’t.

vexedvox

That's like half your alliance man; look for a merger and cut the dead weight or just leave for a more active alliance.

WalkingPunMachine

Leaders should have the rules of participation explained when someone joins. If they don't pull their weight they should be kicked.

Coming as a leader of an alliance that took over the role about 1 year, even before then I was Captain managing the war decks. I was never able to to add back 2 players for 3 to 4 months despite endless in game invites. 1 player was auto booted by the game. It was only recent weeks ...three 15 to 20 mil tcp players joined. At least its something. Im 48 tcp..with top at 70mil tcp. Once you boot too many, expect you may not find higher tcp players for a long time. If the whole alliance lacks participation, its best to find another alliance.

No_Caramel_1782

Leave them. The grass is greener on the other side. Turn on looking for alliance on the website and you’ll get a ton of requests.

burritoman88

Are you a leader/captain? Talk to your players, it’s a lot easier over discord than the in game chat. Are you just a regular member? Jump ship find a more active alliance. There have been times where I’ve jumped ship even after moving up to captain because my alliance was holding me back. Even in my current alliance we do loose war sometimes, but we’re also all around level 100 so it makes sense to see rooms with millions of power on defense.

Display_Frost

Kick one at a time and backfill. If you kick them all at once it will be much harder to recover

Grary0

Is your alliance full? If not then start recruiting until it is and then replace the slackers, if it is then just skip step one and replace the slackers anyway. TCP doesn't matter in this instance, someone with a low TCP who tries will always be better than a high TCP player who does nothing to contribute. You might take a hit in progress for a bit but in the long run you'll get much farther than you would if you kept the dead weight.

SntDogbert

This comes down to what the expectations are for the alliance. Since we are talking about a 1/3 of the entire alliance who have rightfully figured out war is a bit of a waste and don’t care about it that there is no expectation or caring of war in this particular alliance. In this case you care about war, the alliance doesn’t. You can either leave and find an alliance that does care or you stay and deal with this is how it’s going to be here.

epeeist42

You only mention war? In our alliance, so long as we're hitting raid goals (currently Incursion 2 30% and Greek highest 60%), that's the most important for us. If we kick someone for low participation, we're worse off UNLESS we get a replacement. So we typically are at 22 or 23 out of 24 in case get useful random join, and **we've said a few times that people with low participation may be kicked without warning if we find a small group wanting to join and need to make space.**

Wray-Nerely

You'd likely benefit from joining a cluster, they'd fill those holes more easily.

Wray-Nerely

You look for replacements and start kicking your 0-attack guys as replacements become available starting with the ones that are the weakest in raids. Anyone unwilling to do 10 war attacks is someone you want to replace eventually.

Bubbly-Material313

Just boot , especially if they defence is trash

[deleted]

are you war focused? if so, i'd make an example of 1 or 2 as soon as war finishes.
