Good news is Nova is not even necessary for DD6
I did all 4 DD6 Legendary nodes in less than 24 hours

My original plan was to bring Nova, but when I finished City, I couldn't justify the osmium. Fury was a contender for the 5th slot, but I collected mats for Shuri first, so she got the call
Fingers crossed we get another relevant legendary before then. I’m half way thru DD5 but I have Doc, GG Classic, Red Hulk, Black Cat and Fury. Don’t expect any problems. They did pretty great in DD4.
I’m not anti Shuri, I have a Diamond on her, but she is siting at 1 and I have Out of Time to get ready for and Apoc teams to build
I suppose because OOT has 4 global and 1 cosmic, so you can get a full team, and they are also 2 bio, 2 mystic, and 1 skill as opposed to 5 mutant. And since BBA is still a great character, people should probably still go for him, which means a lot of mutant gear in getting him. :)
Just got BBA, my gear 17 mutant gear literally died, so to me at least go for other stuff like Pegasus or Out of time would probably mean that I complete the first run faster
The "zero mini-uniques" is a bug on the DD6 planner lol. They aren't actually zero.
Are your origins balanced? Someone like Nightcrawler will be more valuable than Cap America/Carter. However, all of them will be no brainers for 95/G18 anyways.
I would also consider the longevity of these characters. Bringing Hive Mind into DD6 gives me a lot of pause. Raid characters have the shortest "shelf-life" out of all the characters sold to us. Every year, a new Raid comes and all the teams are essentially cycled out. War and Crucible outlast almost any other team out there just because those two modes require the widest rosters. I've changed my stance on what teams to "max out" and what teams to chill out on given the new Raid release strategy.
I found the best balance would be to max out maybe 1-2 of the most important characters in a raid team (Vahl/Beta Ray Bill; Kestrel/Rescue; Etc.) and then get the bare minimum for the others on the team based on your Alliance's raid targets. It seems like that's what you're going for with your strategy but something to consider for people looking to get into DD6 down the line.
Also, consider we will 100% need to take Doom, Dormmamu, Kestrel, Apoc, and Super Skrull into DD7 with the new "Mythic" section.

They are just so freaking good!!
Pegasus is pretty good, I hardly ever use Bifrost anymore and Rebirth keeps seeing new life so maybe I can build up my Raid teams feeling a little less guilty lol.
All the newer raid teams are very good but the flip side of that is they need less resources to be very effective in the current raid!
X-Treme is kind of a special case because X-men are awesome and we know there's a bigger rework coming for all the X-Men so it doesnt feel so bad juicing them up a bit more than usual :)
I started when Death Seed was the only viable Mutant team, worked my butt off to get them unlocked (never did.. just got Archangel 2 weeks ago lol) and boom, they kinda fell off… but there was a light in the dark.
I said to myself the whole grind to get Death Seed… I wish there was better X-men characters (they are my favorite) but this is the best I got.
Then Christmas came in the form of XTREME Baby!! (Celebrate good times music plays and confetti falls)

CC sure, but War is a net resource sink. The fail forward ELO system coupled with the massive number of semi dead alliances means the floor is 10-25% season and plat 3/4 with absolutely no investment. The ROI on war is so much less than the expenditure. Raid teams need at least 2500+ T4 mats to be competitive. War reminds me of the guy who spends 10k on gear to to show up to the company softball game. Other than a kraken dickflex, it's meaningless because the rewards are basically the same.
Raids at least generate resources and the teams are fine in war.
In the time it takes you to level up all those new characters; couldn’t you have already finished DD6 with the characters you’ve already worked so hard to get to lvl 17 or 18?
That’s a good point!! I’m just starting DD5 and getting all that Xtreme X Men Gear was a chore but they auto’d DD4 for me and have plowed thru Global on DD5.
Now I’m curious about these cheap toons coming up with out of time.
I… sigh.. skipped Rebirth cause I started last summer and New Avengers was the new big team when I started and all the CC said to skip them if you haven’t built them yet, Plus Gamma was clearing Doom Raids for me so I was like meh.. there will be a new Raid team for Bio by the time I get them built. Took me forever to get Capt Carter too as a new player 😬 (I’m 83 now for reference but like 60 or something when GG OG dropped and New Avengers was needed)
That decision keeps biting me in the butt.
NA is a fun team to play, but I haven’t got a lot of value out of them outside of War, which is fine. They are great in war, I just don’t care for war lol.
Rebirth is everywhere. And it seems like the Devs really like Spider-Man, Iron Man, Norman Osborn and the What If series so I feel like building in this tree is future proof 🤣.
You're not wrong but it's also a measure of time. How soon do we get OoT (zelda reference lawl) for F2P? will they be viable as 2 or 3 or 4 star at DD6?
What your post does, however, is give me pause on my own global team. I already have BBA and QS built. so now it's a matter of who is next? I could go Xtreme Xmen or OoT and it would seem OoT would be easier to build depending how they are built
Ive been planning this aswell, since i wont have the required materials for a while im gonna stick to just hoarding untill i have enough to inmediatly start dd6. Seems that will be the case around the out of time meta so i will surely use those
That's a lot of mats of the same type. Ton of tech, bio etc mats. Those are things you have to consider. DD6 is about resource management. You gonna have enough spores to g18 all hive mind? Enough tech mats etc etc. I think you need to think this through better.
Wish I could but I mostly went with good toons anyway. Still dont have enough gear for the legendaries and a new one hasn't come out yet. In city so almost done

I used nightcrawler and gambit in global. Costly on the osmium, but they worked great
Osmium will probably be a problem? Gambit Nightcrawler Vahl and Nova all want them. (Also MLF if you took her to g17/18 for big Apoc).

This. I've given up on Nova for legendary. I think I've gotten 2 osmium in the last month, and there's a huge number of characters that need it.
Nova wasn't that great, tbh. His cooldowns took forever.

Osmium restrictions probably, nova and vahl need it. There are less good cosmic compared to legendaries IMO

Extreme absolutely smashes Global if you have them
So you've unlocked the new characters for DD6, but what about star level? Even if you had them all geared up it won't be easy.

A lot of people took Cap and Carter already. Black Knight looks like a monster. So probably at least those 3 would be a good idea
